Keaton MarieDripping with privilegeI will be up front and say I only listened to the episode about how you do not need to go vegan to be sustainable. I don’t really have an interest in hearing more. I am not a full time vegan and don’t see myself as ever being able to achieve that, but the way this was talked about really just turned me off. As a white woman who is very passionate about being green and sustainable, I understand that it’s not easy for everyone to be that way. The comments about eating meat isn’t bad if you get it from regenerative farms and sustainable sources came across as extremely tone deaf to me and just dripped with privilege. I’m sorry, but not everyone can afford to get grass fed meats and shop at regenerative farms. Not only that, it’s just not available to everyone based on where they live. And we all can’t afford to have our own acreage where we can do it ourselves. I believe the podcast was well intentioned and did have some interesting facts, hence 2 stars, but these women really need to check their privilege at the door. Maybe then it would be more relatable and palatable. Also, I died laughing when tomatoes were said to be viewed equally as chicken in terms of needing to be harvested/killed for human consumption. Come on now.

CCF91A Podcast About ACTUAL ChangeThis podcast is incredibly refreshing to listen to if you want to learn how to actually change your lifestyle into a greener, more socially just one. I learn not only how to make change in my own home but how to make change in my community, nationally, and globally with well informed, actionable steps. Additionally, as an Afro-Indigenous woman, it is really great to know these conversations are being lead in part by a Black woman. Unfortunately racism permeates into every facet of our lives, including climate change and sustainability. Having Suzette in this space makes me feel seen and heard, and I know that theses conversations are not only going to be truthfully complex, but also inclusive as well. Thank you Kelsey and Suzette for creating a space to talk about sustainability the RIGHT way!

nelsen1089An Important Podcast that Addresses Big ChallengesThis podcast does an amazing job of taking on big questions related to the environment and discusses them in an accessible way. Moreover, the hosts do an excellent job centering equity and marginalization in the process.

SmallQueendomIt’s all connected! These episodes are chock full of takeaways for me. This is not a show that delivers “fluff”, each episode is going to deliver incredible VALUE! Whether it’s living sustainably, trying new wellness hacks for my health, learning about life around the homestead or more recently the fabulous interviews highlighting BIPOC farmers and their stories and missions - I know each time I listen in the episode is on point. Thank you Kelsey and Suzette!!!!
-
frisbeequeen96A Must Listen!!I learn so much with every episode and I love hearing Kelsey and Suzette’s perspectives on important issues. Definitely worth checking out!
-
Permaculture Pimp DaddyUnlistenableI’m so sick of hearing these sanctimonious white people teaching other white people to hate white people for being white. P.S. a black man wrote this!!!
-
kdouglas45You gotta be kidding me...I tried listening to one episode about wellness tips and going more green in my life. This podcast looked interesting. Instead, the first 7 minutes were thank goodness Biden and Harris are in charge and you’re pretty much a crappy person if you supported Trump...

Midwestern CommunicatorWell-informed, easy to listen to podcast!Becca & Kelsey are like my holistic and green living mentors! I’m also from WI and feel like they have the best, easy to implement tips! They do an amazing job selecting and interviewing experts, and their tips are well-researched! Found via their interview with Kate Eskuri, but have stuck around for the entire library ever since!

hammera12The tough talksWith everything going on right now in the world it’s almost comforting to hear that I’m not the only one struggling with what is going on. I loved the fact that Becca and Kelsey take these issues head on and aren’t afraid to talk about the hard topics even if it doesn’t seem relevant. Episode 8 of season 2 was an eye opener and even called me out on my metal straws 😂.
-
conchitabandresGreat topicsIve enjoyed listening to the information and they are very knowledgeable and fun. I’m not sure if it’s just me but it sounds like the recording is on fast play. At first I thought they were just fast talkers, but all their guests speak very quickly and I can’t always keep up with what is being said.

heatherc-9417Love this podcast!Becca and Kelsey do a great job covering topics from all angles and asking the hard questions. I’ve learned so much from them about making my lifestyle more sustainable and green. Thank you for this podcast!

KelseyMeowWorth a listen! It is easy to get overwhelmed and feel doomed with the vast amount of climate change information as well as feel shamed if you’re not living “green enough”, however these gals provide great tips and gentle encouragement to live a more earth friendly life without the added guilt. The guests are informative and to the point as well as provide resources so you can make your own decisions on how to be more positively green. Thanks ladies! Ps. My name is Kelsey, my husband’s name is Paul, and my best friend is named Becca, so this podcast kind of felt like kismet.
-
Felicity girlSo great!I love how these ladies are honest, humorous, and helpful! I always learn something new from angles I couldn’t have expected. I really appreciate how there’s no guilting or shaming, which often results in giving up...instead they enlighten and encourage.

BreanaxxxRelaxed yet informative!I found this podcast when they had Kate Eskuri on and immediately binge listened to every episode. Both women are super informative but in an easily digestible way that makes things seem approachable and doable in every day life. I learned about topics I never put much thought into and left each episode trying to make better decisions every day no matter how small. I’m looking forward to season 2!

AmandaBLooLike talking to good friends in your living roomThis podcast is wonderful. I am an absolute beginner to all of this and actually only started listening to the podcast because I struggle with adult acne saw an episode title about it. I’m so glad I did because it really changed my life in a good way. It actually got me to listen and care about all these topics that mostly were just buzz words to me and gave them meaning. They talk about things in an easy to follow and relatable and interesting way. I feel like I’m sitting in my living room chatting with good friends when I listen to this podcast! It has inspired me to be more mindful and intentional without the added guilt which is SO important. Feeling overwhelmed and inadequate is a for sure way to give up on sustainability so the encouragement and REALISTIC actionable ideas this podcast provides is great. To name a few things I was inspired to do: I have now switched to using organic cleansing oils and revamped my toiletries to natural; no more single use straws; I now use cloth napkins, reusable tea bags, reusable ziplocks, bring my own bags shopping, choose food with packaging in mind, and even COMPOST now!!! Thanks for letting your personalities shine through! My sister loves it now too! Sorry for the novel... I’m excited to continue the journey with you!
-
leanybean!InspiringAs a fellow South-east Wisconsinite, this podcast has totally inspired me. It’s so good to know there are midwesterners like me who are trying to do the green, zero waste thing fully without pooping in holes or wearing tin foil hats. They are well-researched and fun to listen to...definitely a must-listen!
-
xomusicallyobsessedThe bestBecca and Kelsey are the best! No-nonsense, and most importantly, info that is actually helpful and useful! This is one of my favorite podcasts and I always learn something. One of the few podcasts where I will listen to episodes multiple times over. Highly suggest subscribing!

N.KovarikInspiration Galore!Love listening to these two ladies! I just started my journey into the green life and they provide so much inspiration, tips and tricks and just the general support and motivation I need to making everyday actions that better myself, my family and the planet. Egott25Down to Earth Tips!I highly recommend this podcast if you’re looking for easily digestible chunks of information on how to be more eco-friendly. I am trying to be more “green”, both for myself and for the environment, and this podcast provides down-to-Earth tips (😃🌎) on how to do just that! Becca and Kelsey are able to present information in an educational, non-judge-mental way. Each episode they share their “pains and gains” for the week so it makes the “green” struggle relatable. It’s also clear they do they their research and admit when they are not an expert.
-
commonsageandcalendulaGreat digestible information!I’m actually not sure how I came across @kelseyjorissen on insta, but the more I hear about/from her, the more I want to share her info! She and @organicallybecca have some really great thoughts to share! I started on the podcast today while working in my yard, and I absolutely love it! They really break down the abstract issues with our current open loop system, and discuss how you can be more aware and proactive in closing the loop in your own life. I seriously appreciate the resources brought to light in terms of more sustainable practices outside, fashion wise and just the perspective that main stream media is not offering! The info this podcast gives is easily digestible, and therefore perfect for sharing with people who may not have given these topics much thought before. Long live the positively green podcast 😂
-
earlygreybaeOff to a good startI’m loving the topics discussed in this podcast! Lots of good information.. I even caught myself needing to pause and rewind during the plastics episode to really make sure I was absorbing the info. I was off put by the episode calling out the only poor review this podcast has... It was great to address the topic but came off as defensive and a little hostile. Will definitely keep listening and I look forward to seeing how this podcast develops!
-
KhdhdghhAccessible InformationI am very impressed at how some topics covered in this show, such as fluoride in the water which can be a controversial topic is covered in a way that makes the information accessible and easy to digest by anyone. I love their enthusiasm and the quality of the editing and sound quality is top notch.
-
lynfeatherLove love love.So I actually studied sustainable agriculture in college and ran in a pretty “crunchy” crowd, but some of the most practical and lasting sustainable living changes I have made are a result of THIS podcast! Not only are the tips, links, discussions, and products an awesome resource, but the COMMUNITY of people that I see rallying together around these lifestyle shifts is so, so encouraging, and that’s what has helped those changes stick for me. Becca and Kelsey are incredibly generous, understanding, and pragmatic about the topics they discuss, but are also unapologetic about science and their own convictions. You ladies are an incredible gift to this world and I am so excited to be on this journey with you! Thanks for all that you do.
-
Jenbun2002jlI’ve changed things in my life because of this podcast!I love listening to this podcast! I recently started doing curbside composting after listening and feeling like I needed to finally sign up for it in my town! They are both so knowledgeable and make for a fun duo. Keep the great info coming!
-
Indie BeauThe Vegan Sustainability DebateI really enjoyed the perspective of this podcast! Thank you ladies for being informed and coming to the table with relative facts and resources! Yay!! I am a meat eater and will stay one. It is not healthy for me to go meat free, and I wish more people would speak to a doctor before making this decision.
-
Rmilbar22I love this podcast 🙌🏻No matter where you are on your journey to sustainable living, Kelsey and Becca have so many wonderful tips to keep you fired up. They share their extensive knowledge in a judgment free and accessible way to help you make more eco friendly choices 💚.
-
aiwuebzaLove the podcast!!Kelsey & Becca have been covering topics that are so important, but also not the most popular ones! The more who speak out about them, the more equipped with awareness others can be, & that’s what I hear them doing with this podcast! I think these ladies do a great job at making the conversation fun while also making it very educational.
-

-
robertadonSo many tips!As a generally eco-minded person, you always think you know the tips. Boy was I wrong! I learn so much each episode! I really love how they talk about a bunch of different aspects of an eco lifestyle from health to beauty to the purchasing choices we make every day. Although I think plant based eating should be stressed a little bit more, I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to start a cleaner and healthier lifestyle. There are so many small things that you can do to be more green. Keep up the great work!!
-
Rbrsn3Love it!Totally inspired by this podcast! These girls are doing great things and I am learning so much! Loving all the information and hearing their experiences too.

As someone who is trying to become more green and live a sustainable lifestyle this is a great tool to become educated on the many different ways to go about that. Layla.RosePositively PerfectI love the Positively Green podcast. Both Becca and Kelsey are great. Their approach to green living is gentle, sympathetic and without extreme shifts or changes to your life. If you care about your health and our planet, this is a perfect podcast!

Samantha760So informative!Becca and Kelsey are so fun to listen to and do a great job addressing important topics in easy to understand and actionable terms. I always learn so much and never feel overwhelmed or guilty about where I am currently in my natural health journey.

Blythe PotterDisappointing and not so greenI was pretty pumped for a green podcast to drop. Listening to the first few minutes of them talking about raising animals to eat their eggs was confusing. There are many reports with supporting research showing that the least green thing we can do is support and promote any type of animal agriculture; organic or not.
