    Peter Walsh needs a therapist
Holy cow. I was so looking forward to this interview. Peter got on his doom and gloom soapbox. No encouragement whatsoever. Just condemning everybody everywhere. Poor Lesley! Get this guy a therapist for Christmas! Lesley and Ingrid are always a bright spot for me.

    Have to stop
I want to give Declutter Hub podcast 5 stars because I really like their content, but I get so absolutely frustrated with Leslie’s disparaging remarks to Ingrid that I often turn it off. Her comments are cutting rather than humorous and they make me sad for Ingrid who brings a lot of sunshine to the episodes.

Love the intro/outro music & hosts!
Please always keep the intro/outro music it literally gets me up and moving. I binged through until I got caught up and you ladies and that music kept me bopping throughout my apartment declutter and assembling the new IKEA dressers I could fit in my decluttered closet! Love your friendship and banter the best podcasts are when you are both on. Maybe you can get technology to do interviews with both of you with the guest!

    Help with decluttering
Several years ago I moved to a one level home. After the move my kids who were living in our former home emptied the basement crawl space. I had about 40 boxes then moved to my new 3 car garage. They took up about 1/3 of the space. Then my sister came to visit for Thanksgiving. She helped me to locate the boxes of pictures from the 1980s and 1990s of my kids....4 boys. We bought file folders, file boxes and labeled them for each kid plus family groups and such. For 2 days we sorted photos, ate snacks, took breaks but were able to sort through about 4 big boxes of random photos. Now I have a box for each family member. We also located pictures that I thought were lost forever! She was the perfect person to help with this project.

Best motivation for cleaning and decluttering!
I discovered this podcast a few months ago and I am in the process of listening to each and every episode. This is the best motivation for cleaning and decluttering and I often laugh out loud while listening. When the intro music starts, it just makes me happy and I dance a little jig while I work! 🤣 If I don’t feel like doing certain projects, I just make myself turn on an episode and before I know it, I am happily cleaning my bathrooms, or vacuuming, or whatever needs to be done. Ingrid and Lesley are knowledgeable and entertaining!

    Must listen to!
I love listening to Lesley & Ingrid and cannot wait for their podcast to come out every week! Their advice is simple and easy to apply. They are able to make it helpful for all listening. I love the dynamics between the two of them which makes me laugh! I sometimes have to think about the terminology they use being from UK but it is still easy to understand. This is a podcast you MUST listen to if you are trying to tackle any kind of clutter in your life! You will not be disappointed!

    Highly recommended!
I’ve always loved listening to decluttering podcasts, and Declutter Hub is my favorite. Lesley and Ingrid have a terrific inter-personal dynamic and provide such useful, down-to-earth advice for dealing with “stuff.” Spending most of my time at home during the pandemic, I decided to get my house in order. As I declutter and organize, I listen to the Declutter Hub podcast as inspiration. On some days I don’t feel like decluttering, but I turn on the podcast as entertainment/stress relief. I feel as if Lesley and Ingrid are virtual friends who are there for us during these turbulent times.

    New to the Hub
I recently discovered these two entertaining women, when I was looking for some decluttering motivation. So far I’ve heard a lot of interesting information and I just love their candid, tell it like it is, what we need to hear - approach to decluttering our homes and lives. Living in a country of more than plenty, it is far to easy to fall prey to the trap of thinking (actually feeling) that we need THINGS.. items that not only crowd our hones but also crowd our minds.. I look fwd to learning more and seeing what the membership and community offer. A joy to listen to these two and a blessing to learn from them. Thanks so much!

    Excellent for Veteran Declutters!
I have been a minimalist since college (15 years ago!) and I have read/watched/listened to almost everything out there on declutter and minimalism. They wonderful women continue to give me ideas I have never heard of or considered before! There are many original and creative new ideas. I came across this podcast and I couldn’t be more grateful that I have. They are both so kind, welcoming, and respectful about everyone’s situations and goals. This is the first podcast on this topic that I feel confident in where I am on my own decluttering journey with enthusiasm to challenge myself even more in my efforts. I have been listening to all of the previous episodes as well as their current one. A few things that set this podcast apart from others in an outstanding way are the following: The ladies always take reality, individual circumstances, and acceptance of varying degrees of clutter. They take reality into account with their suggestions, such as limited time, mobility, energy, and enthusiasm for decluttering. Everything is given as an idea to use if it suits you, in your individual life and your individual circumstances. There is no “right way” or “deadline” you have to meet. It’s about decluttering in a graceful way as you are living your life. They acknowledge the boundaries required and encourage you even if you live with a partner/kids/roommate/family members who are cluttered. They acknowledge that different people struggle with different amounts they would like to declutter as well as areas/categories they want to declutter. They do not judge or have any negative remarks about those who struggle with a room, a category or even the entire house. They warmly meet you where you are and have upbeat conversations and helpful suggestions that can be applied to everyone. After listening to an episode I feel like I have just had tea with a good friend (and had lots of laughs) and I am always excited to apply their ideas right away. Thank you ladies for creating such wonderful content that includes everyone without judgement in a format that makes you feel like you are right at home.

    Good declutter tips
These episides are not too short, not too long. Some of the advise includes dealing with your current mood and state of mind, which many of us clutterbugs overlook at times. I enjoy the two-person dynamic of the show as well.

I love listening to these ladies. I am American and I think their accents keep me interested. I love hearing about their places and things have different names that I enjoy hearing. Not to mention they have great advice. I love watching them participate in the challenges. Their Facebook live segments are great. They are my favorite Declutter podcast.

    Brilliant
Ingrid Jansen (past APDO President) and Lesley Spellman (Head of Mentoring, APDO) have created The Declutter Hub. These brilliant podcasts on organizing and decluttering are just one facet of the wealth of organizing and decluttering strategies they offer in the Declutterhub.com. Take a listen, and you will be hooked! Episode 42 is my favorite, but they are all worth a listen.
