The Cultra Crew (Art, Fred, Becky, and Jimmy) keep the conversation light and hilarious while discussing beast coast trail running and races. Fred provides valuable insights based on his vast ultra-running experience, Jimmy is quick-witted and can riff on absolutely anything, Becky is the heart of the podcast, and Art….well, Art really wants to tell you about the time he biked the Erie Canal. Just kidding, Art is the show’s leader and also brings a lot of northeast trail running experience to the pod. I’ve met them all in person and can tell you they are genuinely great people.

Great hosts, great content! This podcast is what Northeast trail running is all about. Every episode is entertaining and worth a listen.

This is my go-to podcast for information related to Trail Running, ultras, and New England. The topics are always relevant.

This show is great! Came across it listening to The Adventure jogger. Great content about local races in New England and northeast region. The hosts have a great sense of humor while also providing excellent coverage of local races and trails.

CULTRA has become the definitive audio Re source for New England Trail Running.

I started listening around episode 60. I laugh out loud at least once per episode and that tends to draw strange looks when road running. I’m simultaneously listening going forward while working my way through all the back episodes. Listening in reverse chronological order is very much like Marvel super hero origin stories; dismembered monkey hands, douche canoes, Gelato all is revealed in time. When Jimmy Mack said a squirrel yelled at him something shot out of my nose while I was running. So if don’t mind strange looks and losing control of your bodily functions this may be the podcast for you.

I’ve made three attempts to submit a review of this podcast, but Apple has rejected each of my previous tries because they contained profanity. This is unfortunate, because it’s difficult to provide an accurate review of the Cultra Trail Running podcast without using my choicest swear words. Keep up the (good?) work.

The perfect podcast for long stents in the woods. What may at first seem like a hatchet audio job is really a clever ploy to lull you into blasting baritones and didgeridoo’s as loud as your headphones can manage to double check that you haven’t fallen asleep in the middle of the trail. Keep up the great work!! (Also, you’re all lucky I don’t have cell service out on the trails or you’d be listening to a brutal rendition of Danger Zone instead of this review)

Being originally from New England the VT 100 is a special race. The discussion regarding the safety or readiness of the runner’s was intriguing and made me review ( I never review anything) your Pod. I agree with Art that it’s a tough/good discussion for our sport I agree that this is a tough sport. That’s what I love about it. I don’t want to see this sport watered down by the “Boom”. I listen to a lot of podcasts and that discussion resonated. Love your podcast y’all. This podcast had been such a great find! It was randomly recommended by a user on Reddit and I’m glad it was. It’s such a fun, lighthearted, and beautifully raunchy Podcast. It’s has made me, for the first time in my 32 years of glorious existence, consider running a longer distance. I hope to do a 50k next year and it’s all because of you guys! Keep up the great work and keep choking that chicken! Also, I messed up my knee awhile back training so I’ve been doing a lot of walking, appreciate J-Mac always giving me kudos on Strava for my lame walking activities! Ha! No tongue twisters or foreign languages here, just a sincere appreciation for the couple hour escape you guys provide each week. Maybe one day I’ll be tackling those CT mountains with ya’ll! I kid I kid, it's a good pod. I really enjoy listening to these guys and also getting to hear about some of the local races in the NorthEast. I love Scotty and the crew’s witty banter about all things. The Strava shoutout and bonk line calls are my favorite. I’m a little confused about why they talk about Connecticut so much though, as I thought they were from Chicago.

Started listening with the Traprock (traprock in my whisper voice) episode and have been hooked since. Love the banter and they way you all get along, and the stories inspire me to want to up my mileage. Keep up the good work, and maybe some day I’ll hit up the Karaoke hotline 😎

Being from the north east and loving the trail running scene , this podcast was exactly what we needed. Many podcasts don’t cover both this region and ultra and trail running. Thanks for giving me the content I need and having fun enjoyable conversation that is easy to follow along. It stays fun and enticing.
