As one of “the olds” who were looking for some pre-TWIW content, I stumbled upon these fellas and I almost relented. But after their 4 most recent episodes, I decided to rewind back to a simpler time in 2018 when there was a Battle for Azeroth and thick variant humans were dropping onto the scene. These fellas are random, hilarious, and maybe more sober than they were 6 years ago, and I’m here for these fellas making fun of the game at its weirdest, giving tips for some new content, and always finding out what growlina is doing and who is the hottest NPC of the week.

I returned to the “World” at the launch of DF from a long break following BfA, and was surprised and sad to see that many of the long-running podcasts had gone the way of the Swift Zulian Tiger. I happened upon DNR, and it’s been a staple to my week ever since! I’ve found most Warcraft podcasts spend a hearthstone CD simply explaining what their podcast is, or the banter among the hosts is staler than last year’s Brewfest pretzels, but not for the DNRmy! The hosts do an incredible job making the listener feel like a part of the crew — I’d be surprised to hear if they weren’t a major inroad to their server population! Slidewhistle, Immunization, and the fire mage extraordinaire himself, Aaron, produce an incredible Warcraft variety show, including weekly recaps of their gameplay, breaking news and hotfix highlights, “this week in WoW” conversations, but also unique segments like “Growl on the Prowl,” “TT, BB, MM,” “Sexiest NPC of the Week,” Trader’s Post “shoots & scoots,” and occasional game shows, where the hosts face off in battles of the trivia mind that would make even the most knowledgeable Emerald Dream owl beast scratching their feathered noggin. There’s a pervasive good-natured humor throughout the show, and I never feel like I’m listening to the same thing on any given week. The Proud(Moore) boyz mix in a healthy dose of post production editing with great sound effects, give-aways, and tie-ins to the real world that give it an authentic feel and experience! And the fun doesn’t stop on the pod! DNR hosts an active Discord with plenty of engagement and fun to be had! Thanks, fellas for keeping the game alive for this ole’ Wrath-baby! This morning I found this podcast at an ungodly 6am while waiting to get an MRI done. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it yet as I am an avid podcast listener and WoW player. I was surprised by the quality and how funny the hosts were. Keep up the good work gentleman I can’t wait to hear more!

Coming back to World of Warcraft after a six year hiatus, this pod has been my go-to podcast. Clever, useful takes, and perfectly irreverent content… these guys enjoy the game in a manner that is consistent with enjoying a game.

This show is many things but boring is not among them. Irreverent and informative, creatively kooky, with just enough cringe to be worth listening to. Loving It.

Been listening to the pod for about 6 months. Aslong as your not a nancyboy and you dont mind Explicit content this is one of the best pods out there. Between slides sidetangents, immune losing everygame, and Aarons impersonations of growlina and Australians you will always be entertained. Quickly became one of my favorite pods i look forward to listening to every week

I have been playing WoW for years, so I understand a lot of the trials and tribulations that the hosts go through. It feels like playing alongside my friends!

They’re still pretty green but they’ll find their way and I love those whacky growlina adventures
