Absolutely love this pod cast and this family!!
Thank you so much for all the hard work and love poured into this ministry! I have five kids and I know the sacrifice it must take to do this. I truly believe your doing amazing things in other families lives!!! I’m so grateful for the ones willing to be Jesus's hands and feet, carrying the word of God to the world and building up the family culture. I get so much out of each and every episode even ones about parenting stages of life I’ve already walked through. It helps me see where I may have gone wrong and look back and realize how we got to this current point. I have so many new parents in my family and I always tell them if there was one thing I could have added to my parenting walk day one it would be the tools talked about and used in this pod cast!! Thank you Isaac and Angie for helping me have a teachable heart so I can nurture that in my children as well. I would love to one day take all the classes offered and look forward to every episode!!! 💯🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

    Thankful for you both
Isaac and Angie lead the listener very well with sharing current events and how to view them through the lens of a Biblical worldview. They share potentially fear-based topics with love and grace with education so there is no room for fear. Their podcast is my number one favorite and I am grateful for both of them. Thank you for continuing to lead us well!

    Love this for my family
Please keep the producing high quality content. As a new father I love the advice that you preach as a couple. Also would love it if you just referred to ID as being meh when your recording.🤫

    Thank You
Isaac and Angie - WOW. I have been so encouraged by the wisdom you share. Thank you for using God’s word to teach parents how to biblically approach raising children. If you have any thoughts on how to memorize scripture to use it in a moment’s notice, I would love to hear a podcast on that. Thank you, again, for sharing God’s word.

    Long time listener!
I’ve listened to Isaac and Angie’s podcast for years and they never fail to share the Gospel and equip parents for parenting in today’s world. They have equipped me as a mom and wife in so many ways, Praise Jesus for their testimonies and surrender - their pursuit of the calling God has on their life

    This was powerful
I needed to hear this today. I often find myself pushing too hard for perfection and missing the relationships and experiences. Thank you for sharing this. Keep up the great work!

    Encouraged
I came across this ministry, after having a hard day in Sunday School when I brought up predestination. I googled “Does God really wish that none would perish” and a lesson taught by this beautiful couple came up. That was about 4 months ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I have left that church, but have shared the podcast with the single parents ministry I was a part of there. My son is wanting to be married, and I’ve sent this to he and his fiancé to prepare them for Godly parenting. Pls pray for their union, as they are part of a church that doesn’t teach sound doctrine. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

    Absolute necessity!
This is the only podcast I listen to week after week because it’s SUCH a wealth of knowledge in parenting AND crucial conversations with your spouse around raising children Biblically in todays world. It has opened my eyes in the best ways and has shown me areas where I need to pray and work on. I just love them, this podcast, their app and the classes SO much!

    An answered prayer
This podcast has been an answered prayer for me. I’ve been listening for weeks, starting at the beginning and going through each episode, as well as skipping around a bit for topics The Holy Spirit is leading me to dive into. It’s been helping me disciple my children and change my parenting to be more Christ centered. It’s been so encouraging, edifying, inspiring, and has helped me to refocus on biblically parenting my kiddos. It’s truly a gift and helping to sanctify me as a mom. I’m beyond grateful and so blessed to have stumbled upon this podcast! Thank you Isaac and Angie for your wisdom and servant leadership! I’m praying my husband and I can get on the same page, and that he will start to spiritually lead our family. God bless you both!

In response to the Halloween/All Hallows Eve Episode
All Hallows Eve aka is not evil. It is profoundly a Christian holiday. There is a reason it precedes All Saints Day. It is a reminder of how Jesus overcame the grave and it is thumbing our noses at evil and mocking them. It is not based on Samhain. That is what pagans want us to believe. It makes me sad when Christians misunderstand this Christian Holiday. It reminds us how Jesus was triumphant over evil. Please do better research. You are confusing your flock. Listen to the podcast The Sword and Staff. They have episodes that explain all of this from a Biblical worldview and will set you straight and show you how this is a Christian holiday, not an evil one. Paganism just borrows from our worldview all the time.

    Courage to be honest though???
I wish they had the courage to be honest with reviews. They only get a few actual reviews a year but have thousands of star ratings. That’s a telltale sign they bought star ratings. That’s so sad that a couple who is preaching the values of courage and honesty are actually dishonest and fearful of what others think. It’s ok Isaac if you don’t have a popular podcast. And it’s ok to acknowledge that you mess up sometimes.

    Solid truth and great advice
This podcast is a must listen for Christian parents. It’s nice to know the Tolpins’ words of wisdom are from God’s word first, and then their own experience is added. Love the encouragement I’ve received from listening to this podcast!
  • eklicko
    Love !
I love the courageous parenting podcast! Lots of wisdom. My only suggestion would be that I’d personally love to hear how they’ve struggled, more. How they’ve struggled in marriage and parenting and with teens , more . It’s mostly about all the things they’ve done right and that’s awesome! Just would like to hear how to work through real struggles ; successfully .

    Best Christian Parenting Podcast
This has totally transformed my thinking. I’ve been listening to the podcast before I even got married in 2021. My husband and I had our first baby in November 2022 and we are first generation Christian parents. We wanted to strengthen our marriage and raise our baby girl to know and love Jesus well. We didn’t want “stereotypical” Christian parenting. We wanted authentic parenting from a biblical perspective. A perspective that didn’t dread their kids. Isaac and Angie are the real deal. They are raw, real, authentic. They take everything and hold it up too scripture. They hit every topic from politics, to postpartum/pregnancy, miscarriage, tantrums, teenagers, finances, holidays, you name it. And they do everything with Gospel lenses. This is truly the best podcast I’ve listened to in terms of parenting and marriage. What a blessing!

    Ad placement
I love the content of this podcast but for the life of me I cannot fathom why they stick the ad break literally in the middle of a SENTENCE. It’s so cumbersome and awkward. No problem at all with having an ad break but why would you interrupt a thought with it rather than having it at least at the end of a sentence??
  • mnmommaa
    Has become my go to
Absolutely love this podcast! I’ve been on a deep dive listening to past episodes and always feel challenged, inspired and motivated to do better. I so appreciate the Tolpin’s honesty and humility. Keep it up—you are a bright light and encouragement and I love sending your podcast to friends!!

    Condescension
What began as an invigorating encouragement to train up our kids in the way they should go, has become condescension. I don’t feel this way about each episode. Some are still quite biblically sound and leave room for differing opinions. Topics such as schooling options, health care/vaccination choices, and political stances are not salvation-level convictions. These are impactful choices we make for our families and God has given us the freedom to make those choices according to the leading of the Holy Spirit in each individual family. The rhetoric around such topics is very much, “If you were really a Christian, and really read what the Bible had to say about it, then you’d agree with our far-right-wing, naturopathic choices.” Now, I genuinely agree with many of their stances and even make some of the same choices as them. It’s their delivery of the material and twisting of God’s Word for their agenda that lights up the alarm bells in my gut. I cannot in good conscience keep listening as I feel I’m being manipulated and condescended, and it’s quite challenging to eat the fish and spit out the bones at this point.

Life Changing Podcast-Just what I needed!!
I cannot say enough how much I LOVE and needed this podcast. A friend of mine shared it with me about 4 months ago- the very 1st episode was on whining… than move to the one on provoking your child- to preparing them for the great reset. I stay informed but sometimes it seems daunting to know what to do about it on a micro scale! THIS was an answer to prayer- my kids. I’m starting right there equipping the next generation! I LOVE the scripture they bring to each and every episode and their focus on discerning and wisdom in these times but the rejection of fear. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the powerful reference points and how much God has used their pod to confirm things I felt in my spirit or embolden me to train my kids up the way He wants! I’m binging all the episodes now and always looking forward to a new one. Every single episode I’ve listened to I have gleaned something! My husband and is just talked about another baby- and some of the fears of having another- my jaw dropped as Inlooked up the latest… Is Fear a reason to not have another baby!! lol It’s almost like God was involved 😉 I have a pod and KNOW the labor and time that goes into them and Injust want to thank you SO much for this gift!!💜

A channel to make you really think
Episode 122 is my favorite to date. Every episode has a great reminder of something to do that you’ve been meaning to do. Episode 122 is how to include your little kids and create a teamwork environment in projects (and the mundane daily tasks.) Isaac and Angie, thank you for creating this podcast. Your expertise and different mindset from how we were (maybe unintentionally) parented is needed so badly. Editing to add: now I don’t have a favorite episode. With every episode I find my self nodding and rewinding to listen again to make notes. So much good in this channel.

189 How to handle when kids lie
This was so encouraging, however, we could NOT hear Isaac very well! His voice was so deep and low that when he would talk, it was very difficult to hear! We enjoyed the podcast so much and want to let y’all know!! God bless your ministry!

    Listen, learn, and be blessed!
This podcast has been an answer to many prayers in our household - how to wield Biblical truth and purposeful parenting practices! This is such an encouragement for Christian discipling within our home and wherever we go. We are so thankful for the ways God is using the Tolpin family’s experience, convictions and obedience. Each episode is a testament of how they’ve learned about what God wants, in order to raise up the next generations in His name. Thank you!

    Transformative Biblical Wisdom
Been listening for three years now, and this podcast has brought me straight to God’s Word as the first source of authority and wisdom in all things parenting since my first episode. Thank you for faithfully sharing each week!

    Also for the singles!!
If you’re single and/or a not-yet-parent, don’t let the title deter you!! You will not regret weaving this podcast into your week! Isaac & Angie do an AMAZING job at staying rooted in God’s Word while challenge & inspiring me to take back the intentionality God as called EVERY believer to pour into all areas of life no matter the marital/children status! In addition, I’m deeply encouraged by how the truth they share is helping to indirectly shape the desires of my heart for a future spouse & directly fire me up with hope & even excitement for how I can one day raise my own children in a dark world! Worth. Your. Time. 🙌🏻

Such a helpful podcast to parents
As a Christian, it’s hard to come by biblically sound podcasts that point you to Jesus in all areas of life and in my experience I’ve found that in this podcast and I’m thankful for Courageous Parenting! ♥️🙏🏼 praying for you both and your families!

Thank you! This is so good!
Thank you so much Isaac and Angie! I love this podcast! It gives me many ideas and biblical truths to ponder and to work on in our parenting and marriage journey. You speak humbly and give the glory to our Father and Jesus. I appreciate how you point others to The Word, as the real and true source of wisdom and power. You both are great teachers and explain the application of the Bible to our lives well. I’m so thankful for the work you are doing and sharing here. It is very encouraging and helpful!

    So good
I love listening to Angie and Isaac as they tackle tough subjects with honesty and biblical truths. They keep their insight biblical based, and are engaging to listen to. I have listened for several years now. God has convicted me in several areas over the years through their podcast, and they have truly helped me grow in my marriage and parenting. Iron sharpens iron, and you can tell Angie and Isaac have a true passion and calling for helping others become sanctified as we raise our children to be disciples of Jesus!

    They are speaking truth
I love this two days in, I feel and hear with clarity that they are seeking God in the Holy Spirit and not just using podcast for personal clout. A lot of time now the rockstar preachers clearly show you where they stand and I love how clearly devoted to Honor God not worrying about offending anyone but Jesus. I love it.

    Truly Courageous and Seriously Biblical
This podcast is a Godsend. I've been listening for 3 years now. I started before I even got pregnant and now my daughter is turning 2. I am incredibly thankful for Angie and Issac. Scripture is their main and most leaned on teacher, followed closely by much wisdom and experience. They interpret scripture so wisely and fairly, giving liberty where the Bible does and standing firm where it offers no contradictions. As parents we've been able to work through so many more topics than I've ever thought about because this podcast was the first to even bring it up. Thanks for standing firm in truth!

    Full of Truth
I am so encouraged by this podcast..the raw truth, steadfast faithfulness and unapologetic cultural wisdom are just what my husband and I needed. We have been weekly listeners for 2 years and every podcast seems to be even more of encouraging than the one before it. LOVE IT SO MUCH!

    Godly parenting and child rearing
Isaac and Angie’s podcast is one of my absolute favorites. Their God given encouragement, instruction, and so much more is uplifting to this mama’s heart. As a mom of two under 2, their attention to detail, use of scripture, and training for children and teenagers is exceptional. Thank you for sharing your hearts, experiences, and faithful study of scripture. This podcast is convicting, loving, and thoughtful. Keep up the good work!

    It’s pretty good
Pretty good, but not any earth shattering advice. Sounds like they’re regurgitating good advice from professionals, so that’s good. I wish the wife would say “I’m sorry, but…..” a little less. Are you sorry or not? Just say your opinion and own it!!
