    I love this!
    I came across Mike through Emma Montgomery’s podcast and I’ve been binge listening to him since episode 1! I’m sad I’m all caught up because now I have to wait. 🤪 Mike breaks down concepts in a way for anyone to be able to understand and I love his hard truths.im all about accountability, so when he throws it back on us as individuals I love it. His personal history allows him to convey this information with so much heart and let’s us know he’s human too! Who knew! 😜 Some of these concepts have supported my preexisting health/fitness journey and I have embraced new ones. I’m a nurse and have brought some of his concepts to the bedside with my patients. I’ve caught myself saying some of his lines…what you do to attain you just do to sustain. I’ve also used some of his cognitive dissonance insight in regards to my son and his desire to play Comp Hockey. Keep it up Mike! 💪🏻

    Love your podcast. Great info and what is funny for me is how much you use the F word. People complain about that but whatever, is not like if they never say the word. You say it as it is and what you think at the moment. Kudos to your podcast!

    I love this show and how real Mike is. He tells it like it is and doesn’t pretend to be perfect. I especially loved this episode where he shared how he ate what he wanted on his trip. That’s real life! It’s advice that you can learn from, incorporate into your own life, eat/drink the things you love, enjoy it, and move on! Thanks for the reality check!

    I love Mike’s straight talk and simple answers. Yes he can make a podcast out of any topic but when you boil it down, there is no magic secret. He covers so many things we’re all feeling and overthinking but usually I just appreciate the reminder. Do the work, consistently, over a long time. Period.

    Mike, listening to your episode on the 3 reasons really hit home to me. I worked extremely hard to get really close to my ideal weight last summer and was within 10 lbs. We went to Disney and I was taking a diet break. The first thing I did the day after we got home was step on the scale. Terrible thing to do because that spiraled all my progress because just like you said, one thing led to another and before I knew it I was 15 lbs heavier. I finally decided to get everything going in the right direction again and have downloaded this episode so that I can listen to it on an as needed basis so that I can always remember your words of wisdom.     I listen to a ton of fitness podcasts and many of them forget the most important part of the equation.. the mind! This podcasts finally puts the mental/emotional/pshychologizal aspect of dieting, weight loss, fitness in it's proper place as the first and most important aspect that has to be dealt with first. The topics are always spot on and current. FINALLY, a podcast that will cover the really important thing we are all struggling with.

    Mike, love listening to your episodes and equally love your frank talk. I glean little bits of info from yours and a select few other podcasts. I almost didn’t listen to your recent episode called Losing Weight with an Autoimmune Condition, because I’m blessed to not have such a condition. But I’m glad I did listen, because something you said made me pause for a minute to think… “the base of the pyramid is your belief system”. Well that makes a lot of sense …. and it makes sense in a way that doesn’t come across as verbal feel-good talk, like “if you believe it, you can do it”, or “you can do anything you set your mind to”, or other overused ways of saying the same thing.     I started listening to Mikes podcast on my daily dog walks… I wanted to spend my time walking filling my brain with positive thoughts and information during my fitness journey. This podcast hits home for me every day. Everything that is discussed I have pretty much experienced myself at some point in my life, and Mike reiterates the facts week to week. His honestly, knowledge and encouragement on real life struggles and/or accomplishments is so necessary to hear. A fitness journey is just that… a journey. There are hills and flat roads and it’s not always easy. But I have found that checking in with podcasts like this make me feel less alone and reminds me that I’m on the right path, and there is no turning back!

    I recently found Mike’s podcast about a month or so ago and since I started listening to it, I haven’t been able to stop. Not only are his episodes full of so much knowledge, tips, and tricks regarding macro nutrition and weight loss/fat loss- but they are so relatable every dang time. I’ve learned so much listening to these episodes and I genuinely look forward to them when I go on my walks on my lunch breaks every day. So grateful for his presence in the podcast community and all of the info he brings to it. Thank you for all you do Mike!
