Stumbled upon this podcast and have been binge listening from the beginning and I just want to say, that you Woody- have got such a way of telling stories that will leave a person hooked!!! I really believe that you are using your talents to the best for us! Thank you and keep up the great real work!!

I can’t remember how I heard about this podcast but love listening to it daily. Love all the different little segments with their special music or jingles. And the way Woody, Mike and Jim interact. Started Bloody Angola and Exposed recently and love them also! Keep up the great work!

I’ve been listening to TC podcasts for 5 years. Like, everyday. I’m not sure how I just happened upon Woody but I’m obsessed. Started from the beginning and just finished the Courtney CoCo series. I love your attitude and the way you say what we’re all thinking!

I was okay with Bloody Angola being with Jim. Now he’s a permanent fixture and it’s not a great one. Mike is good, good with pronunciations for sure. Jim absolutely butchers the English language. He acts very condescending towards Ago and it’s annoying. People aren’t listening for Jim. They want more Woody. I loved RLRC originals but now most are paid only 😞 Stories on Daily are interesting but please PLEASE have Jim at least research how to say things…like especially, not expecially 🤣 I’m a Louisiana native and know how to talk lol! I know nobody cares about my opinion but I’m over Chapman.

Now I realize I’ve been listening to three conservative wannabe Fox News correspondents. Figured this out when Jim said he loved Candace Owens.

Sadly, the podcast changed for the worse. Even the stories Woody does these days aren’t nearly as interesting and his insights, which were great in the beginning, are few or repeated insights from older material. Shame, it was a great podcast in the beginning.

Love the fact that he says what he means and means what he says. Tells a good story too. I was afraid it was going to be a bad show, whir the guys talking over one another but nope. Very good show !

It’s one thing to have your beliefs but to call people names and make fun of theirs is another. Just because someone watches documentaries to be educated on all points of view, that don’t follow your beliefs, that doesn’t make the conspiracy nuts. It’s ok to look for facts rather than just take for granted you have the full story. Disagreements are fine. But resorting to insulting others just because they don’t agree with your position is not.

I’m sad because I love this podcast, even got my husband hooked on it, now it’s turned into real life real crime daily and all the original stories (your podcast origin) has turned into that we can only listen to subscription only. I don’t think that’s fair y’all got me hooked with starting a great podcast and the incredible stories you have, and then turns into I have to fish inbetween podcasts to find one- only for it to be available only to subscribers, or one to be available because a RLRC Daily isn’t put out so you pull one out so that something is posted in lieu of. I don’t necessarily want to hear current news when that’s not the podcast I started listening to ☹️plus the layout is confusing and just about ready to give up

I am a new listener. Now on season 2, I’m addicted. Growing up in SE La, I know a lot of the areas talked about. I love true crime, so glad I came across this podcast! The actual detectives perspective on these cases makes it so much better than just case reviews.

I love the show but I can’t handle on constant woody talking over everyone. Just listened to episode violence erupts all over 7/7/23. Mike was talking and I kept trying to listen and the whole time I hear woody talking over him and it was very frustrating. I get sometimes he talks about stuff not related but let the man speak.

I get such a kick out of the show. Great humor, good information, great guys!!!

The rapport between these guys is great! It’s become a daily habit on my a.m drive to listen to RLRC ONE MAJOR CRITICISM…Woody Overton, you are terrific I love your sexy Louisiana drawl but PLEASE STOP talking over Jim and Mike!

Update: decided to unfollow. Too much politics. I like the show and appreciate the no politics rule (when it's being followed) but it seems to me like maybe the rules don't really apply to everyone. If one host gets sanctioned for negative comments about Trump, then negative comments about Biden should be sanctioned as well. Better still, just don't bring either of them into the conversation. This podcast is one of the few where I don't have to listen to politics, please don't lose that focus. The humor y'all bring has much more value to this stressed out world than yet another flapping fool mouth expressing yet another political opinion. We get enough of that everywhere else.

I’ve been listening to woody for years and loved the new addition of the dailies but I’m not sure I’ll be listening anymore. The first time or two Asians were mocked I chalked it up to Jim being goofy however it’s become a standard pronunciation for anything or one with an Asian name and that’s super offensive. Top it off with Mike’s latest show of support for Derek Chauvin??? Are you kidding?? This show was always fair and sensitive I’m sorry things have changed

I’ve had several episodes that I liked but the last few months have been awful. I’m unsubscribing because I feel that this is no longer a podcast but a political push point. The pros do not out weigh the cons and listening has become a chore.

I have been listening for over a year and while I don’t comment or give stars or watch anywhere else, I have been a loyal listener. Until today, your opinion, and report regarding the George Floyd incident is disturbing. Regardless of what was documented appropriately the facts of the facts, he had in his throat and couldn’t breathe so he died. Never should’ve popped in that way. No excuse, no reasoning, and the appropriate justice has been completed. I’m sorry because your show is entertaining. I won’t be listening any longer. This is too disappointing. Officer are supposed to be trained and if that’s not sufficient, that’s a problem. I have no idea how anyone was forced by FB I. Maybe they have more knowledge then you all do. Justice has been served and and this time the system worked. Thanks!

Another podcast where the hosts think they are comedians as they speak into their Radio Shack microphones. If they have day jobs, they should keep them.

I think I clicked on this podcast by mistake. I was looking for a podcast that presented crime news every day, and instead I’m getting three Fox News rejects crack unfunny jokes about Trump talking points, punching down at minorities, and generally not fact checking anything, complete with morning AM radio dj style sound effects and inane rambling about their personal lives no one cares about. Please put this garbage in the Politics / Talk Radio section where it belongs.

To all true crime buffs and even if you are not , This podcast being told by Woody Overtone is amazing!!!! As one that never wanted to listen to podcasts before, 2 minutes in I was HOOKED!! Do yourself a favor and LISTEN!!!!

I recently had to stop listening because of things said about the Gaza/Israel situation. Although it was at the beginning of coverage and before more info was available, it made me sick to hear. I was very disappointed but I absolutely love this show and all the knowledge they give from their past of law enforcement. It’s so addictive to listen to and it’s the only podcasts I listen to that post every single day 🫶🏾

I was definitely in the wrong room here to be completely honest . I’m a person of color. Being so I still found them entertaining until the first time i heard them express support for Israel. I’m not antisemitic. I condemn Hamas. You do not have to be Muslim to support Palestine you just have to be HUMAN. Anyone with a platform recognizing the killing of innocent civilians on October 7th but not recognizing the over 4,000 innocent children being killed in Gaza. And it’s not to find Hamas or rescue hostages but for occupation of a “holy land” smfh. Shame on you rlrc for not speaking up against genocide. Free Palestine.

I started from the very beginning a few months ago. I love that Woody gives great stories on crimes he was part of convicting. I like the brutal honesty. Sometimes I am holding my breath waiting to hear what comes next, laughing, angry with the people that commit these crimes. It really is a fantastic podcast! I listen to it all the time and really love it!

Somebody needs to get the intro and outro music the same as the podcast volume. I have to skip the first 3 minutes and the last part due the the volume differences. Added: The intro and outro music has been fine tuned to match the podcast. Keep up the great work!

I’m obsessed with true crime and Louisiana so this podcast is heaven for me! Woody is just the icing on the cake! I could listen to woody read the label on a cereal box. If he starts reading adult novels let me know ;)

Found this podcast on 09-25-2023 and now I am binging every episode and it’s been so addicting that I just can’t STOP…. This will be my favorite podcast from now on and I haven’t even been listing to my other podcasts I used to love but this podcast has me stolen my heart.

Jim speaks on topics that he has no clue on and will Co-sign anything woody has to say! HAVE TO ACTUALLY SAY MIKE HAS GREW ON ME! While Jim continues to keep woody’s Wood in his mouth!

Great podcast. What separates Woody from the rest of the podcast world is real life experience he brings. Real life cop stories from the officer/detective that worked the cases in one of a kind. Highly recommend.

I am a true crime junkie. I only listen to true crime podcasts and this one is by far my favorite. Love Woody!!!! Keep up the great show!
