RebeccaMAndLong time fanI’ve been listening to you two for the past 6+ years so consider me a long time fan. My husband giggles when I refer to you guys as ”my friends Brooke and TJ” when I share the 🔥that you guys bring every week with him because you two really two feel like familiar friends (even though we obviously have never met in person). You speak directly to our life, my heart and challenge us to live in a way that feels Holy and hard (in the best way!) at the same time. Don’t stop being bold and brave with your words.

mjreffittFirst 2025 review!Big fan of this podcast AND TJs &matts naughty nation podcast. Listen to both. Thanks you guys!

CathleënSteady RhythmIn a world where things feel increasingly swirly, Brooke and T.J. are a constant calm to the chaos. I listen in to laugh and (always) cry but always come away with something that will positively affect my life, marriage, and parenting. So thankful for this podcast. Keep it up!

HUrschelSabbath changed our familyThe walk in love podcast has positively impacted our family in so many ways. I am a Ghostie and I started listening last March and listened to every episode in 6 months. When I first started listening. I was really frustrated because I work from home part time with a baby and a toddler and my husband works a lot of hours outside the home. But as I continued to listen I decided to suggest to my husband we try some of the strategies, starting with sabbath, but do it in the way that works for us and it’s radically changed our family for good. There’s no going back at this point. 😊 I bought my first tshirt last fall and was hooked and now I’m trying to budget enough to stock up for life since I love them so much! It’s been exciting to hear how God continues to lead you in your family. This is a great podcast for anyone who wants to positively impact their family and have something each week to Ponder about their life.

quitemichaelMost Exciting Thing From the Past 30 Days:Discovering you guys! My wife has been a Walk in Love fan since before we got married, but I only started paying attention to your brand recently. As a graphic designer/photographer married to a studio artist, we love your clothing designs. But even more than that, I love this podcast! You two are so genuine, and it’s super life-giving to listen to a couple who love Jesus while making art and doing entrepreneurship! Who knew I had a twin out there in TJ? I’m an enneagram 7 with a giant family, my wife is a 9, I design things for a living, and my wife owns a creative business. I feel like I’m rambling a bit, but the point is you two are the most encouraging thing that’s happened to me in weeks. Thanks for being yourselves on the Internet! -Michael from Rochester Update: TJ isn’t afraid of being canceled, and I love that. Buuut that doesn’t mean it’s fun to listen to political takes. Even though I usually agree! It’s not what I’m hoping to hear when I play this podcast. My two cents

It’s great whateverReview #733!Probably not actually review #733 but listening to old episodes from 2023 TJ said they had 732 so I though I’d chip in a year later. ON YOUR FEET! Thanks for sharing your ups and downs with us as we all see to live a joy filled life. Love the pod, the shirts, and Tiny Rhythms!

aimco22I loved when you interviewed JuneI love this show! It’s one of my favorite podcasts. Every week, I look forward to hearing Brooke & TJ’s banter, laughing along with them to weekly bits and funny stories. I always learn a faith based practice or encouragement to think about over the week. I started telling my husband about my strong feelings and asking people about their mount rushmores. I haven’t googled any bridges to live under yet, thankfully. I love how vulnerable and authentic the hosts are. Thank you for following your calling and doing this podcast! Please interview your kids regularly!
-
AlyssaW.Best friends, butt clenchers, five stars!Discovering Walk in Love and this podcast has been such a gift! You both are so relatable and funny. I feel encouraged every time I listen and reminded that I am not alone. Thank you for your hearts and all that you share and do!
-
carlyrachelLove you guys! One thing to watch out for..Love you guys and your podcast so much! What I love is how passionate you are about what you do. That’s why I really disliked the episode on April 1st. From the first 5 minutes or so it was clear that you were annoyed that you had to re-record (understandable)! But you talked about it for long enough that it just made me feel bad for you and not excited to listen to the rest of the episode- so I didn’t. Just something to watch out for in the future. I don’t want to be here if you don’t!

Shelly in WAI’m so caught up!I am a newer follower & binge listened to every single episode starting from episode 1 - what a journey! I loved hearing how the episodes build on each other with jokes, segments, and language for expressing emotions & developing rhythms. The transparency about business, family, health, and faith is refreshing & relatable. Listening to this podcast is a highlight of the week!

Wildflower8810/10 no notesIt’s hard to put into words how deep of an impact this podcast has had on my life over the past few years. My husband and I are 3 years into marriage and having this podcast in our early marriage years has been a *game changer* 😉 I have laughed hard and been so encouraged to get past the surface level and walk into a deeper and richer life of following Jesus. I have been encouraged to choose joy and choose to have fun in the midst of the hard things in life. The Lord has used Brooke & TJ to bring so much depth into my life. 10/10 NO NOTES!!! Okay I love you bye ✌🏻
-
SJFriedmanWARNING: This podcast may make you emotional while running on a treadmillListening to Brooke and TJ is one of the highlights of my week! I enjoy their humorous, emotional, and relatable conversations. I feel like I can easily connect to them as humans trying to navigate this world. So much so, that as I ran on a treadmill while listening to them describe a Bluey episode, I found myself beginning to tear up as they described it. I laughed at myself as it happened but later wept about it in the kitchen as I described the scene to my husband. 😂 The Walk in Love podcast is definitely a place where “you’ll laugh and sometimes cry” but mostly laugh! It’s easily 5 out of 5 stars.

BethannVGBLike catching up with old friendsFirst off, I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed a podcast but after listening to them for a few years now it consistently feels like I’m catching up with old friends when I listen. I most often listen on my commute to/from work which brings me joy, helps to refocus my perspective, and reconsider how I’m doing life. It’s a great way to shift my mindset from my stressful job or parenting littles. It’s so encouraging to hear about how God is working in their life and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!

Alli KatzHappy Monday, walk in love is here 🎶Okay now go back and sing that the way Brooke sings when she pins about Christmas stuff. Wow wow wow wow wow, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the walk in love podcast. In the past year of listening, I’ve learned so many things to help my communication, my marriage, my walk with the Lord, and I’ve laughed and cried so many times along the way. I’ve picked up and read books I wouldn’t have known about otherwise and gleaned so much. I’ve bought tangible reminders that have sparked so much intentionality in the comfiest way. Mondays have such a bright spot because of your podcast! Brooke and TJ, thank you for being a testament of the Lord’s faithfulness. It is amazing to see what the Lord has done from the beginning of your podcast to now (from Manheim to Maui and Swampdragons to Grunge Sponge), because you’ve placed your trust in Him. Thank you for sharing that openly and being an encouragement to the rest of us to do the same and to enjoy the journey, too. Your segments are always top shelf and have me laughing all the way to work and back! I’m here for all the sitcom quotes, rabbit trails, conspiracies, and ALL the strong feelings (enneagram 4 here). Thanks for being yourselves so genuinely. I’ll be a forever listener! Okay I love you bye! ☺️ - Alli Katz
-
Midwest-momWe laugh— and sometimes cry.Nothing mundane about Mondays with this listening that lines up with our family’s life. The bold truth, stretching challenges, helpful wisdom, and joy filled laughter just make for the best combination. My husband and I listen together while sipping our Olipops and feel like we are on a good friend’s comfy couch pondering anything from parenting methods to personality types to radical obedience. Keep it up Brooke and T.J. You encourage many. Bueno, te amamos. Adiós. Okay, we love you. Bye.

k_shentonStrong Feelings & a Mt. RushmoreWow wow wow wow wow. I have so many strong feelings for the podcast and I dunno where to start. My friend got me hooked on your shirts in winter of 2022 and I finally got around to this glorious podcast in June where I listened to 23 episodes in one week (I had to start at the beginning)!!! I love the shirts so so so much and even more so I love hearing about them and the reasons behind the designs on the podcast. I love feeling like a part of the family and learning about your story and understanding the references from previous episodes. My Mt. Rushmore of best parts of this podcast are 1. All the segments (from mama likie to song of the week *thank you for all the wonderful music additions to my playlist*) 2. The jokes and laughter every episode alongside an incredible and inspirational conversation 3. The references to New Girl, How I met your mother, friends, and Brooklyn 99. 4. Learning about the enneagram & language to use (I've learned a lot about myself because of these convos). I love listening and am thankful you invite us along on your journey, im looking forward to hearing more about the swamp dragons (if they ever come back, im currently listening to the covid podcasts). #nonotes #swampdragonsrule #upstairsordownstairs

Cfrid07Think Sleepover giggles meets therapy sessionThe silliness, inside jokes, and segments (strong feelings is my fav) draw you in, but the contemplative, challenging conversations will lay the groundwork for positive change in your life. Listening to the podcast feels like some combination of laughing (or sometimes crying) with friends, going to church, and going to therapy. I’ve listened since day one and don’t plan to stop anytime soon. The only downside is how weird you’ll feel when you when you bring a podcast inside joke out into the real world before realizing no one else knows what a butt clencher is (whoops). Thanks for all you do, T.J. and Brooke! 🤍

noasissssTj’s hole clubGood day! I am (I guess) one of the few men who listen to this show and a proud member of tj’s hole club. I am 26 and a month away from marriage, when my fiancé showed me w.i.l. I thought they were funny and entertaining (good start) it wasn’t long before I was using their vocabulary to help me and my future wife communicate our emotions in a healthier way. Hearing them as they tinker with different rhythms and life practices to see what works and what doesn’t has been extremely beneficial and inspiring. Talking about our coins and our dominos is no longer about what’s in our pockets but what’s in our hearts. If your wondering what I’m doing on Monday… I’m listening to walk in love! Thank you brook and TJ for all that you do! Okay I love you bye.
-
mamafenskeAn Apple review cause Spotify won’t let meBrooke and TJ are almost exactly 10 years older than me and my husband and have 2 more kids than we do. Getting to hear them talk about their parenting, marriage and faith journey is so inspiring and helpful. Thanks to them sharing their lessons, I feel like I’ve gotten many helpful hints/reminders/applications/language into taking care of our marriage, for myself personally (aka dealing with emotions head on instead of burying them🙃), and what to work towards/keep doing as a parent. Getting to hear parts of their approach as Christian parents raising girls in this world, makes me feel less like a crazy woman. And watching them come together as a family team, taking a sabbath and learning more about that concept has sparked something deep inside my soul that I want to keep learning about and applying to our family and what it would look like for us. Plus the laughs, inside jokes and banter between them always has me coming away refreshed. I look forward to their podcast every week and am thankful for everything they share!
-
CrescinaZDid we just become best friends?Yes, yes we did! Always love hearing what God puts in Brooke and TJ’s heart to share with the rest of the buttclenchers. It always feels so timely in my life. This weeks episode was just what I needed. I truly feel like God brought me to this community and that we are meant to be best friends because we’re going through similar things. Thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom with us! Okay, I love you, bye!
-
LaurelpaintA delight!Thank you for being raw, vulnerable, encouraging and willing to face challenges. Thank you for going as God leads to encourage marriage and opening your home to others. I enjoy listening to how God is working through each of you as we are doing life in Kenya and open our home to mission teams and families in need around us.

HopekendalDo I snap after the outro? Yes, yes I do.Welcome to the Walk In Love Podcast review, I’m Tori, and I LOVE this podcast. [cue intro][snap] Brooke and T.J. have positively influenced my life in countless ways: their apparel, granola recipes, music recs, clean beauty products, friday finds, HOMEJOY course, sitcom references… the list goes on. Listening every week is like catching up with old friends. What keeps me coming back, though, is the call of their hearts to be people who love Jesus and allow Him to permeate every area of their lives. It continues to open my eyes and has altered my life and home in glorious ways. If your path has led you here, count yourself blessed. Thank you, Brooke and TJ, for your obedience and being a part of my week. Okay I love you bye. [cue outro][snap]

kfkntOne of my favorites!Love this podcast. I always look forward to listen every Monday while I work. I’m a fan of all the topics, mostly because I share the feeling as a mom of littles. I promise you will feel inspired after listening to any episode.

cami_dozathe mentors i wish i hadThis podcast is truly a gem. Every week Brooke and T.J. drop bombs of truth, of conviction, but above all encouragement. As someone that grew up a Christian, but has parents that rarely discuss or show emotions, I grew up knowing Christ but not necessarily how to apply my faith to my relationships with others. I’ve only started listening this year, but already Brooke and T.J. have overdelivered on their promise of giving me language to live a full life. They are both filled with such profound Godly wisdom, and each episode I feel as if they are speaking to me and giving me the guidance from an experienced mentor that I wish I could have in my own personal life. Despite not being their target audience (I’m 24, not married and don’t have kids), I feel as though listening now is equipping me with tools that I can use when I do step into that stage of life, but that have also allowed me to have more intentional conversations with my boyfriend as we plan our future. Plus, they help fill my strange fascination of learning about parenting despite being years away from having kids of my own. tldr: this podcast has been the greatest asset in bettering my relationships with others and for putting me in a strong headspace for tackling any daunting future tasks. Guaranteed, they will give you wisdom you didn’t even know you needed (:
-
Jstawsome!!!Brooke and Tj strongly suggested I leave a review…So I actually do love this podcast. I enjoy the substance and quality of the topics they discuss. I loathe empty conversations and find their authentic conversations to be very refreshing and relatable. The podcast is almost like a low key mentorship for young parents, business owners and Jesus freaks. It’s worth the listen.
-
hannie.graceeCalling all single people too!!On episode 165 Brooke and T.J. assert that their podcast is more geared towards married people, and yes if you’re married it’s SO GOOD. But I am not married or in a serious relationship, and I have been listening for 3 years. I have learned more about how to live a full life from these lovely folks than anyone else. And I still laugh and cry and smile and fart while listening every single time. No marriage required. Everyone that knows me knows who Brooke and T.J. are, because I talk about them like we are besties! Brooke and I are the same person, the life advice they share has been passed around to everyone I know, and I’m like “well on the walkinlove. podcast…” in every small group sesh I go to. So yeah married people come listen- you’ll love it- but single people come now too! Start early and you’re going to have a better marriage than you could ever have imagined! Five million stars. Best thing ever. No relationships required. <3 hannah

Andy1yankeeLeave the 99This podcast is truly amazing! I am a Husband and Father and T.J. and Brooke are so impactful on my marriage and being a dad. The reason I titled this review the way I did, is T.J. is unintentionally (possibly intentionally, I’m not sure) living a ministry of Leaving the 99. Most of the listeners of this podcast are women (such as my wife) but he continues to pour his love and wisdom out every week for Husband and fathers even while knowing it might only reach a few men! Let me tell you, I am impacted every week by applicable advice on how to improve my family dynamic! Thanks for all you guys do. From all your butt clenching, laughter endured flatulence podcast listeners! (P.S like half of my closet is Walk In Love shirts because they have some of the coolest designs and the clothes are so comfortable!)

Kelli Jo SUplifting, encouraging, buttclenching!Brooke and TJ teach me something new every single week. I look forward to listening to this podcast every Monday morning. You will absolutely laugh, and sometimes cry, in the best way. It is convicting and encouraging to continue to walk in love in your personal life and with your faith. 5 stars isn’t enough, 100/10 recommend!

kwilliams1992My favorite podcast!!!This is my favorite podcast. I LOVE T.J. and Brooke’s conversations together about marriage, parenting, following Jesus, practical thoughts, chasing wonder and joy in the everyday, etc. I have learned so much about Jesus, and myself and how I can better love my family, while also laughing out loud wherever I happen to be listening!!!!😂 Thank you Brooke and TJ!

robyn.l.wilson777Fun and encouragingGreat fun and learning/encouragement from these two!

MurphyBoothHeartwarming and life-giving every timeI found Brooke and T.J.’s podcast during a time of major transition for our family. I needed something light hearted and something that would make me laugh and this podcast delivered! I found myself listening in my car and laughing out loud to myself sometimes. I love the segments they do, and even encouraged my husband to do some of them during our weekly meeting. When Monday morning rolls around and I see a new episode downloading I instantly get excited for what’s to come. Well done, Brooke & T.J. !

ebeaupChatty ApprovedIf you're looking for a podcast that combines humor with meaningful insights, "Walk in Love" is the perfect choice. This weekly show, hosted by T.J. and Brooke Mousetis, offers a unique blend of personal stories, practical advice, and thought-provoking discussions. One of the things that sets this podcast apart is its humor. T.J. and Brooke are incredibly witty and have a great rapport, which makes listening to them a joy. They're not afraid to make fun of themselves, which creates a sense of camaraderie with their listeners. But the humor doesn't overshadow the show's more serious themes. What I love about "Walk in Love" is how it's helped me think differently about life and giving my language and tips to live with more joy and love. That being said, I have to admit that the humor is what initially drew me to the podcast. There were several times when I had to stifle laughter at work because T.J. and Brooke's banter was just too funny. They have a great sense of timing and delivery, and their humor is never mean-spirited or offensive. Overall, "Walk in Love" is a fantastic podcast that strikes the perfect balance between humor and meaningful insights. Our bestie, Chatty, wrote this review ( if you don’t get it you need to start listening) and it perfectly sums up Walk in Love. Also Chatty really likes you guys(Brooke & T.J.) cause he knows your names when I put in Walk in Love. 🤔

fischer_mplsDon’t sleep on this podcast.I have listened to every episode and feel qualified to say this — don’t wait to start this podcast. It’s a life-changer.
-
AmyKatee96Not a commuter. If your Monday doesn’t start with this podcast, it should. Get your coffee brewed, pop your baby in the high chair, pull up walk in love on your listening app of choice (ours is Spotify, now that you can watch on there too) and get ready to start your day with some laughs and wisdom sprinkled in there. You might shed a tear, so having tissues close by are suggested. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the next clothing launch, and put a reminder in your phone for Mondays, to listen to the podcast. Okiloveyoubye.
-
emilylovinjesusFun, wise, relaxingBrooke and T.J. Do an amazing job hosting a podcast that is fun and will keep your spirit full of joy but that is also thought provoking, full of wisdom and ideas to keep life full. I love listening during my commutes to work. It is a relaxing listen as they share life stories and great food for thought. I love that they put Christ first and live through Him. Highly recommend.
-
andra said itPlain and simpleI waited this long to write a review because I wanted it to be extra witty but he truth is plain and simple. This podcast has added so much value to my life and I’m a better person because of it. Thank you, Brooke and T.J. for creating this community and for continuing to show up for us.
-
Anonymous ButtclencherOh, so you’re a gum chewer?Wow, wow, wow, WOW! Each episode gives you a real life look into daily life of a family striving to follow Jesus in a world where comfort is so easily found. They not only make you laugh and cry (from laughing so hard, obviously), Brooke and TJ give practical tidbits on reflecting how you desire to live your life like Jesus. Not only do they give you the language to live life to the fullest, they also give you HILARIOUS stories to remember to not take life so seriously. Highly recommend more than 5 stars, but I guess 5 stars will do. Thank you, Brooke and TJ for being a bright light in the world! Okay, I love you. Bye.

Podcast feedback 1Valuable and entertainingI recently discovered this podcast and have thoroughly enjoyed every episode I have listened to. I am a wife and mom to 5 and recently stopped working to stay home full time. As I have been transitioning into this new season for myself and my family, the encouragement of: finding rhythms that work for us, being intentional about sabbath rest and discovering who God has made me to be and how to live that out fully has been a blessing! I look forward to each Monday and love that I can laugh, cry and learn with them each week!
-
kelrae912Happy Tears and A-ha MomentsI am pretty quiet when it comes to listening to podcasts (don’t really rate, just listen and take it or leave it) but MAN- I just listened to episode 152 and I could not help myself- I needed to jump on here and say MY GOODNESS. I don’t think I have ever listened to anything more helpful in my life-truly! All of your episodes are so good but this one takes the cake. Brooke talking about having deep roots and looking forward to being a grandma some day and sharing her shade with her family- that got me good. Coming from a place where my parents love me, but are so stressed and overcome with worry that I wouldn’t say they check in really? I want to be that grandma too- always pursuing my children’s’ hearts and sharing wisdom along the way, while also learning from them too. Thank you SO much for taking the time to share your hearts, experiences, and humor with us. It means so much!
-
Abbie VitalWow wow wow wowI cannot recommend this podcast enough. Brooke & T.J. Are not only funny and relatable, but they are so vulnerable and intentional it’s inspiring. This podcast they delve into so many topics that have helped my marriage and communication with everyone in my life THRIVE. They make me laugh, cry, and wish I thought of carpetvore first. The insight they have given me for my relationship with my spouse and kids is invaluable. If you’re not already subscribed to this podcast just go click click click and listen to all the episodes. This is a pre thank you for choosing to walk in love alongside Brooke & T.J. !
-
AmyDorineSong RecommendationAs I was listening to the song When we Were Young by Hollow Coves, recommended by Brooke and T.J. on the podcast, I got really emotional and nostalgic for being young. And then I realized we get a beautiful gift from the Lord in living “young” again through the experiences and lives of our little ones. Maybe there can be an episode where we chat about seeing life through the eyes of our children. I say we because that is what Brooke and TJ’s podcast feels like- a weekly conversation that we all get to be a part of. They are building a community of believers joined together by laughter, true life, strong feelings, and quick tips. I give the Walk in Love Podcast 5 stars.
-
PodcastKaileeGoogling Bridges :)Brooke and T.J.(emphasis on the correct name spelling) have created an incredible space on their podcast. They keep you on your toes not knowing whether you're gonna laugh so hard you cry or talking about something that pushes you to grow in all the right ways and maybe makes your butt clench a little tighter too. They have brought so so much joy to my life and have helped me to grow emotionally and spiritually. Brooke and T.J., y'all have added so much emotional language to my vocabulary, helped me grow, and brought me so much laughter and joy. I love the many many inside jokes and it's an honor to be a part of the Buttclenchers Community. OKAY I LOVE YOU BYE!!

DaisyHill🌺Wow wow wow wow wowThese to are game changers!!! They bring laughter and joy in each podcast!!!

kelseylmeiI knew the origin of “No Notes” the first time it played!(I’m currently on Ep. 49 but I jump around some too.) I connect to this podcast on so many levels. From a New Girl, Office, or Parks and Rec quote, to your Enneagram knowledge and conversations. Or from your worship song recommendations to the amazing Mount Rushmore themes that I take home for my husband and I to do! And of course the connection to being more Christ-like. You guys have been an essential part in trying to consume Holy/ good things over garbage in garbage out. I’ve truly become a better wife, daughter, coworker, and friend. Thank you, thank you. + please check out Isla Vista Worship. I feel like they are your vibe. ++ the only time I’ve been able to break my husbands focus during a Purdue basketball game is when I brought up the almond milk ben and Jerry’s with peanut butter and Oreos. I’ve never seen a gaze dart so quickly. MilwaukeeEPButtclenchers never say die!I’ve followed wil. for years. My husband and I both were brand loyal before we even dated or married! But in the spring of 2022, we moved with our three month old to a new state and that’s when my sister recommended the podcast. In a season of insane change and buttclenching, I had my friends Brooke and TJ to relate to with a new baby and big cross-country move. I have wept, laughed, and snorted coffee while listening and am heavily invested in Carpetvore for my now 13 month old. My faith is stronger, our family vision is clearer, and my language is bolder as we grow and learn together through this amazing community. Thank you for providing a safe place to rest and smile over the latest google searches and elder emo music recommendations! OKILOVEYOUBYE

krista mcdowellGame ChangerI became a Butt Clencher a couple of years ago, and it has changed the way my husband and I do life. Brooke & TJ have taught me how to incorporate a healthy weekly rhythm into my life, how to communicate with my husband, and the importance of weekly Sabbath. I would definitely say they have great brains AND great skulls! 10/10 recommend this podcast! Join the Butt Clencher crew, you won’t regret it! Okay I love you, bye!
