SusanWalkerGirlThank you for clarifying Idaho 4 caseThank you for clarifying police and FBI procedures compared to what Howard Blum said in his recent interview with Megyn Kelly. After hearing Blum I was greatly concerned about the case and what evidence would be allowed. It will be interesting to see how credible his allegations will turn out to be when the case goes to trial. It doesn’t make sense that police and the FBI would jeopardize the admission of evidence in such a well known and publicized case.

Sdsh3234MKFYI Megyn Kelly never claimed Kohberger planted the DNA. Nor did she make any claims regarding what happened. Howard did. That is his potential theory.

Will StopPronunciationBill can’t pronounce Kissimmee, Florida. He embarrassingly calls it kiss-a-me. You’re not very smart, Bill.

mbsrvaI love the show but…I actually love POTC and their discussions. I think they do a pretty good job of talking about issues that are inextricably linked to political topics without getting very political. I like the hosts and their banter though appreciate that most of the show is actual case discussion. My only complaint is I get multiple episodes dropped into my feed everyday - I’ve learned the normal length episodes (30 min or more) are worth keeping and listening to but I get multiple 2 to 6-minute long episodes that are more like fragments of a full show (full of ads usually) and also “episodes” that are ads for other shows (“you might also like____). I hate these! I’ll keep listening but wish this would stop.

FeralFortiesPolitical Double StandardsI really like this show and the hosts despite knowing they probably vote differently than me. I accept that they get political from time to time, but it’s their podcast and I respect their right to do so and my right to not listen if I don’t like it. It doesn’t deter me from listening though. What does bother me is the seemingly double standard applied to when the time to make something political is. So many of the fires in California were still rapidly burning and these gentlemen were diagnosing the politics and the problems behind the containment struggles. Two planes crash in two days after the new administration has recklessly gutted the government and the guy say it’s too soon to make it to political. I am proud to listen and support those that have different ideologies than me, but all I ask in return is for things to be factual and standards to be equal across the board, regardless of which political party has the oversight. Thank you for all you fellas do, and still worthy of 5 stars!

carriebradahawOff the CuffLove each and every show. So informative and you are outdoing yourself with all the wildfire info. Thank you.

Lolo13419I hope the NYPD finally values the good membersHopefully some positive changes will be made and the officers who choose to be there honorably, will finally get the help they need and deserve.

LindenTreehouseSteady listener until today. It’s long been clear that we aren’t on the same political side but many, many times I’ve appreciated your insights. There have been rough moments for me in your show before but today was different, after hearing your episode on the day of the inauguration. Disagreeing is fine, healthy even, and maybe the prescription we all need more of, but I didn’t feel there was basic respect given about diverging viewpoints of listeners who otherwise are fans of yours. I admit I’m not close to anyone in the police world and don’t claim to be any authority in this area. It’s your podcast and your total right to express your views but it struck me as yet another place where a door is closing on the right to hold diverging viewpoints. This is a problem on both sides, born largely of the media we consume, I believe, along of course with life experience.

FastidiousJDisappointed long time listenerBill—I have enjoyed and LEARNED from you and your podcast for a long time. I have wanted to thank you for many of your podcasts but haven’t had the time. I walk with you in my ears in the palisades hills every day-from PCH to the village. I imagine you to be a really good guy. We differ politically but it never mattered until today. Today I unsubscribe. To place blame and point political fingers while our homes and cities burn to the ground is mean-spirited, classless, disturbing and sad. I can’t understand why you would even go near this at this time. Facts be damned—blame Karen Bass! Blame Gavin Newsom! Shame on those who would take this time now to flippantly blame political opponents. You have lost me today. I’m sure it matters not a whit to you, but I feel a loss. And not for nothing, but California will rebuild no matter how many sloppy, biased, negative, cynical, rude, toxic and misguided so called experts you and others allow a platform. I won’t stand by anymore. A real disappointment.

The Crafty Nine OneGreat Show “but please”Love the show, but you guys interject these 6-10 minute episodes that are basically snippets of the full podcast and those are sucked up by nothing but commercials not sure if you listen to them, but you should if you jump on for a seven minute update on an episode you may have missed you literally get like 4 1/2 to 5 minutes nothing but commercials.

dndsjavskcDecent, Would Prefer is Not Made PoliticalI like this podcast for the most part. Warning, at times they get political. They will make general comments about “the left” that are not accurate. Sometimes I agree with them, sometimes I do not but I can see how they would come across as offensive to some who are just coming to listen to true crime and not be faced with political complaining.
-
Cheribee 🐝BillExcellent podcast by retired police Bill. So to the point, from an experienced professional. SGT Bill, and Professor Michael bring law enforcement expertise to True Crime cases. I watch minimal true crime channels, and only law enforcement perspectives.

jlynno(:Enjoyed your Mica Francis episodeEnjoyed the conversational exchange and your wisdom applied to this case. If you think her estranged husband spends a lot of time talking about himself… Please! Take a peek at her obituary and guess who wrote it. Mica had reportedly filed for divorce (for the second time) and JP was served 2 days before her suspicious death. Prior to her death, Mica was working to get her name changed back to Mica Francis, hence we refer to her as Mica Francis instead of his name.

My4meaniesI actually like you and love you knowledgeThere are way to many 5-10 min clips, and too much coverage that repeats and overlaps. I think I love you as a person that pays attention to detail and covers things to its core. I have so much respect! From a listener perspective, I don’t want to hear the same things over and over, and I won’t even bother with minute long eps. I mean all this as constructive criticism, but if the minutes long continue I am out.

MarinesLadyIt’s okay to support Pres. Trump! There are plenty of media outlets that do not favor Pres. Trump — Bill is entitled to his views. Why is freedom of speech okay only when it’s your candidate or opinion? I do not bother with 5-15 minute episodes. Don’t care for singing although Bill has a beautiful voice, agree — too many ads are disruptive, and rather hear the deep dives instead of info repeated. All else is great! I am a loyal listener! Recommend this for insightful commentary, when it is fresh!

W. Mark DudaPlease vary your cases moreSo much happening with Delphi trial and nothing from Police off the cuff. The suitcase murder was beaten to death. Please get back to Delphi, Idaho, how about covering the Caneiro Colts Neck nj family slaughter that STILL hasn’t gone to trial 6 years later! More on LISK please. What’s going on with missing woman Walshe? Any chance we find a body in the Dulous case?
-
Ctmb18great topics/ like longer showsBill you and guests do great job. The soto case is worthy of all the coverage. This stern creep and his lies. Please do longer shows. Even 30 mins ones? I know some are longer but the real short ones i’m less likely to dive into. Keep the great work!

rpanthRight Wing TrumpersIf you like to listen to right wing Trumpers, this is the podcast for you.
-
WillnotNails on chalk boardTerrible. Simply terrible. I would much rather listen to coyotes hunting for food.
-
MistryOrlando12345678Too many advertisements but great content and podcasterGreat content & podcaster but I get lost with what is being discussed when an advert interrupts the host at the worst time, then when it resumes I’m left confused and end up going back and forth to catch up.
-
michaels magic threadworksCould be greatWay too many commercials!
-
grossflowersGarbageRight wing garage but claims not to be political
-
Super duper sEngagingI’ve just jumped in with the Madeline Soto (may she rest in peace) coverage. Thorough, pleasant voice and great insight from a former police officer and homocide investigator. Thank you!
-
Rachael AyyybearGood info but a producer is very neededUpdate- Will start listening again when they stop talking about Stephan Sterns, can only hear the same things so many times. I love the content but the same topic does get covered with little to no updates. Empty air, frozen audio and extremely abrupt commercials are frequent but you can tell they’re trying to figure that out. I also would suggest leaving the “grab your dog, wife, etc” bit out of the intro as it destroys any levity provided in the first segment. I’m definitely thankful for a podcast from a police perspective though as they’re often blamed when they’re out there putting their lives on the line.

billi2772Due diligenceClaiming Kohbergers attorney didn’t do her due diligence but the person over seeing the park said he closes the gate but leaves it unlocked so it can be used after hours and he has no way of saying if someone was there or not.
-
Mushi67Getting too repetitiveThere’s only so many times I can hear about Madeleine Soto - her death was disgusting, but this is starting to feel repetitive and exploitative. There are lots of other subjects to talk about.
-
TisaanLove the authentic perspective that Bill gives to these cases!Great to get the view of someone that is on the police side of cases! Bill is great at analyzing these criminals and giving the view of law enforcement.
-
JP 1953Disappointed in this showI used to love this podcast but it’s become very right wing. I am or going to listen to this.
-
Czechchix51CzechchixWhy have all the episodes gotten shorter?
-
Chica098Good if you want updatesGood if you want updates on cases but Bill swears he isn’t political but it’s clear that he’s MAGA like most law enforcement and does a very poor job of pretending like he’s not. Gross since Trump is a convicted criminal and admitted SA’er of women. Real conflict of interests since women are by far more likely to be victims of the very crimes he covers.
-
Joanne Fettig woodsHad to stop listening.Bill started going a little to right wing for my liking. Yes he’s all for legal immigration, but not one, but two illegal immigrants did something.. so apparently that makes ALL of them bad. The DJT thing., it wasn’t a dem, it wasn’t a b£ack person, it wasn’t a ga¥ person, nor a drag queen. Just a good old Wh¥te American boy, who got his hands on his daddy’s pew pew. Blah blah.
-
kwdreams5 StarsUpdate… Sorry Sgt Bill way too many commercials. I had to stop listening. Great current topics. Sometimes repeats his opinion er and over but I enjoy hearing the panel’s perspectives.
-
Mr red soxAds ruin it!I absolutely love Police off the Cuff. That is… until they started with the ads. They are quite jarring, and abrupt. I would be happy to pay a subscription, if I could just listen without being startled with the ads interrupting my peaceful time with Sgt Bill and friends!
-
WmhuntRehash and recycleGood when new cases break but gets stale when the same cases have no new details but get covered over and over with nothing new.
-
liz true crimeLove it!I love, love, love this podcast! I started listening to it because Bill was covering a lot of the Savanah Soto case. He did an amazing job! I have really enjoyed the attorney side of things as well. I have also enjoyed the covering of the Gilgo Beach murders. Please keep it up and I hope to see you all at Crime Con 2025!
-
Laurenlo9778LoveLoving this pod and the insights from the New Yorkers themselves!
-
ColendiaPodcastI just found this podcast today , I am really enjoying it!
-
b27275Good showLove the show hate the new commercials.
-
BackituppLove New Yorkers!I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved about eight years ago. There is some thing about listening to other New Yorkers that feels like home. New Yorkers are a special breed of people that just get each other. This was a great podcast by the two NYPD officers. I am a first time listener that will definitely be subscribing.
-
mooca0401The best!Refreshing to hear Bill’s take on religion/cults/manipulation/secrecy

Erika SebastianOne of the most up to date and REAL podcastsI love love love police off the cuff. I recently quit listening to so much true crime but police off the cuff is no more than a accurate hour of news!! His accent is fun!!!
-
Irishtom11783Billy is the bestLove this podcast. Period
-
ThereisamiddleByeUsed to be a fan until it became evident that these men support a man that has victimized women. They will discuss how disgusted they are with criminals in their podcast but support Trump who has been found liable for crimes against women. Think about the next time you report on a crime. Do you really care? No I don’t think so.
-
Ginger in Bryan TexasAudio terriblePlease fix your sound system. Between your voice fading out and then booming after you play a hard to hear clip, it spoils the whole show. I need a break for now.
-
TootiewantsadogGreat showThey give a great informative view on cases
-
zoum.kOBSESSED! Best podcast!I love this podcast! You can get the insight of real investigator/police side of things. I’m waiting for more episodes!!! I love your accent/ voice it makes the podcast even better.
-
Agilk9Love this Podcast!I like Bill’s down to earth, common sense approach to the cases. Interesting cases and he has a refreshing perspective.
-
natnat1977InsightfulThis is a great podcast, i always feel like i have a better grasp of the case in question. I really hope they cover the Samuel Haskell Jr. case in Los Angeles that is getting barely any mention and it’s horrific
