Not only is it my favorite investment podcast but it’s my favorite all genre podcast. Make no mistake; Josh Brown is Salt of the Earth in the streets but a freak in the spreadsheets. 10 Stars.

Don’t get much from Callie, but for first time ever I will say I really did not care for Galloway.

Not sure who that Callie is— unlistenable. Not much depth there with actual true market knowledge— I think she reads twitter for insights.

Josh Brown please revisit “Salt of the Earth” definition. Proud Union Longshoreman for 40 plus years here. On my whiteboard at work: ‘Work. Save. Invest.’ When I can wrestle the remote from fellow workers at breaks and lunch - I will flip on CNBC. When you are on I say ‘Listen up Downtown Josh Brown is talking!’ ‘This guy is the Salt of the Earth.’ Meaning - a very good and honest person, down to earth, unpretentious. I never miss an episode of “The Compound and Friends” podcast. I highly recommend it to any and all who want to learn and laugh to do the same. Six stars if I could. I hope you take this as a compliment - I have no doubt you would hold up your end down on the docks.

This is worth listening to weekly. I enjoy the occasional humor and pop culture references. They bring in some great guests and have interesting discussions about the market and economy. Unfortunately, Batnick is usually loud and obnoxious. He regularly interrupts people and can be rude. I deducted 1 star because of Batnick. Lastly, I’m not a fan of their What Are Your Thoughts? episodes.

Never thought a financial podcast could be entertaining, these guys pulled it off. Informative and fun.

TCAF is my favorite investing podcast. Josh & Michael, keep up the excellent work. From a retired Wharton MBA in Finance, raised in Queens, but living in Texas for the last 45 years, and fully focused on investing for the last 8 years.

Typical east coast liberal fruits….nauseating shots at the right side of the aisle.

I’ll start with a couple little issues. 1. Josh hates Twitter/Elon Musk and finds a way to bash them almost every episode 2. They spend too much time talking about restaurants in NYC. No one cares that you think that restaurant on 5th avenue is better than the one in Brooklyn Apart from these two minor annoyances, this is the best finance podcast in the business. Always worth your time. As a fellow bald, Michael is the man.

I feel like I’m back on the trading floor listening to this podcast. They tell it like it is and I enjoy their sense of humor as well.

These guys are truly in a league of their own. Between the banter, guests, and current market discussions, you won’t find a better business and investing podcast out there.

Fun listen with good chemistry between the hosts and guests

Love these guys! They are really entertaining and provide excellent financial content on the markets. They also dive into market analysis and why the markets are moving the way they are, while being hilarious at the same time.

They have become the worst, was a financial show, but there agenda is clear, they talk about democratic spending, no mention of the 8 trillion of debt their pal added to our countries debt , last podcast was my last - bye (also not going to miss that horrible LI accent)

Listen every week while on my run. Pointed questions, excellent banter, learn a ton, and openly laugh multiple times per show. An instant classical was Michael’s “should I be excited, or should I sell” when opening the discussion on investing in China with Michael Cembalest. I stopped and replayed this section of the show three times, causing me to uncontrollable laugh out loud each time. Major Bonus: ending the show with Favorites. Keep on bringing it, my brothers and sisters at The Compound. And I hope the team realizes the meaningful joy and knowledge they are delivering to the masses. Be Well, Larry from Ojai, CA

I listen to The Compound and Friends, Ask the Compound, and Animal Spirits. RWM takes a lot of my podcast bandwidth. Interesting market commentary, even for someone who is mostly indexed with retirement accounts 100% in Target Date funds.

Been listening to various financial podcast over the past couple of months and this one is a great combination of being informative and entertaining. Also have great guest speakers the show.

It’s a treat to listen to people who have so much info to share while laughing and enjoying themselves and their audience. I look forward to every episode. Pro tip: listen to the pod and THEN watch it on YouTube. Great job. Love the show. No, this is not your mom. 😂

Listening to the Compound and friends is one of the highlights of my week! Educational and hilarious!

Josh and Micheal provide an unbiased long term view of the market. Are well spoken and ask informed questions of their guests. Their guests include a variety of opinions and view points (not always a bill or bear case). Josh and Micheal press in the basis of these views in a professional tone - conceding nobody really knows the markets future. I prefer Thursdays show to Tuesdays and rarely miss listening to a Thursday show!

To begin, I just want to say this is the first review I’ll ever write on a podcast. Mainly because I could not find the “Leave a review” button but also because I just haven’t found a podcast that I genuinely love tuning in to. That said, I’ve been listening to The Compound for almost two years now after one of my co-workers recommended it. Loved at first listen! Josh and Michael bring such great character, topics, and lively brother banter to each show, whether it’s a What Are Your Thoughts or a Compound & Friends episode. What Are Your Thoughts is my favorite out of the two though, since these started being released in 2023. I look forward to each Tuesday night because of it and can’t wait to watch it on YouTube 😆. Don’t get me wrong though, I love the Compound & Friends episodes too, they just aren’t as much fun as Josh and Michael alone on What Are Your Thoughts. My favorite show guests are Tom Lee, JC, and Belski the Bull. One thing I enjoy about Josh are his words, I learn at least one new word a week from the man and I’m kind of a southern boy so his Jersey accent helps me develop in listening. Two things I enjoy about Michael are his quick quick witted market calls and comments when he disrespects Josh, his podcast dad haha. Also, I love how John takes the “Chart Off” commands lightly, sometimes Josh and Michael can be overly commanding lol. So you wanted to know what’re my thoughts, here they are and I hope they bring a smile to the Compound’s podcast faces. 5/5 high fi ✋🏻

Very informative info, presented with sarcastic honesty about the difficulty of investing, which makes it fun as well. Great guests.

The guests are diverse in thought and the insights they provide are thoughtful. But The chemistry of the guys are what makes it so listenable and entertaining.

Used to love this show during 2020-21. But recently it has really started to drag. Last episode the Josh Brown monologue on Martin Scorese was exhausting. Also, never really liked the fact that they love to shill KraneShares ETFs, which is majority owned by the PRC…

Josh Brown is cool and has a cool way about himself. I’d give it 5 stars but M. Batnick is virtually unlistenable. I wish I could mute this frat boy in order to enjoy the program more. 10-25 show fast forwarded first 1/2 hr Josh brown lecture about movie about white oppression and some sponsor ad nobody can afford.

So much info out there today getting buried by mass amounts of information. Josh and Michael make thing interesting and informative in a way that you can actually use and find more info about what they’re talking about. Great listen, always informative.

I’ve been investing since 1974 and I have read or listened to just about every financial publication you can image starting with Louis Rukeyser in the 1970s. This is by far the best financial podcast available to the average investor. Also entertaining with some very significant and thoughtful guests.

I have listened to at least 30 episodes . The last one was terrible. Several have been excellent . Everyone lays an egg sometime . Rating. Negative 5

Actually, the show is brilliant. I’m a mid 60’s retired and currently active investor. I’m very involved with the market on a daily basis. I read about, listen to and follow the markets closely. This show, without a doubt is one of the highlights of my week. Josh and company are the perfect blend of seriousness and ridiculousness, mixed metaphors and personal experiences. Consistently good guests and content with thought provoking content. As Josh once said, “nothing is always anything ever”, but this show is close.

This is easily my favorite consistent/continual podcast.. I always enjoyed DTJBs candor on CNBC so having him in the raw w/ Batnick has been a formulaic touchdown. Can I buy shares in this podcast?!?!? Haha. Keep it up boys. Love the Strong Island vibes too. Keeps me plugged into reality from the aloha state - Mahalo!

Copacetic, Enlightening, and Succinct with a sprinkle of humor and banter. I’m a Finance major at a fairly well known tristate University and ever since a banker friend of mine introduced me to this show, none of my free time to, from or in between classes has gone by without this playing. Incredible hosts, incredible guests, incredible staff and incredible show.
