I am late to this podcast but have been binging since I found it in December 2022. I only have a few episodes left before the end. I hope there are plans to bring back the podcast!! This is a wonderful podcast full of information, inspiration and entertainment! Thank you Christen and Ajab for sharing your experience and expertise!

Thank you! I started calligraphy two years ago and felt lost in the beginning because I could not find anyone local. Kind of like being a bee without a hive until I found this and it has helped answer many questions for me as I grow in calligraphy. Keep inspiring!

Ideas, comradererie, laughs, encouragement, great interviews and practical knowledge and tips, it’s all here!! I love listening to Christen and Ajab on this podcast. Any questions I’ve ever had about calligraphy, inks, different hands, and all the humor highlighting the things that can (and will) eventually go wrong! I made sure to mention. This podcast with every envelope exchange I send!

I can’t say enough how this podcast brings me so much joy. Love talking about the birds from M. Sull class as my birds are lop sided, crooked and unable to perch anywhere. But seriously, thanks for talking to the Who’s who of the Calligraphy world and bring them their stories. These masters have learned it from someone and pay it forward to the next. By the third season, these ladies keep getting even better, more confident, and a joy to listen.

You ladies are doing an awesome job. I especially liked your interview with Sarah Richardson. The topic of cursing was brought up on the episode and a couple of things had to be beeped out. While you have the freedom to use whatever words you choose always remember that cursing is to speech what ink blobs are to calligraphy.

It was hard for me to imagine that a podcast about such a visual art could be good, but these ladies are killing it! I am a calligrapher with 10+ years of experience and I learn something new with each episode. I’m so glad the Calligraphy Podcast connects me with others who share the love for this art.

I’ve been listening to The Calligraphy Podcast for several months now—long enough to feel like Christen and Ajab are friends I’ve enjoyed but not had the pleasure to meet yet. I just want to jump in and talk to you about this wonderful world of calligraphy!

I first heard about it from a Paper and Ink Arts post, listened to the most recent then started at the beginning and enjoyed every one. I am a hobbyist so not every topic is totally relevant but I have learned something really great from every episode. I highly reccoments it

Whether you do calligraphy for a business or just as a hobby, it’s always fun to listen to this podcast to just be inspired. Christen and Ajab do an excellent job of addressing many of the pitfalls we all experience with calligraphy. They also motivate me to just go pick up my pen and start lettering! You’re doing a great job and I am enjoying these conversations between yourselves and your guests. I’ve had the pleasure of taking a mini course with Suzanne Cunningham here at the CalligraFair in Southern California last Fall and she was just as down-to-earth and full of great encouragement then. I was so frustrated with my calligraphy and nibs. I’ve been doing copperplate for 6 months and couldn’t figure out why my ink wasn’t flowing down the nib right. THEN on one episode they mentioned cleaning the nibs before use. (Duh🤦‍♀️) My writing is so much better now!! They are fun to listen to and have so much valuable information that I never would have found without them. Thanks ladies!!

I love the frankness and informative format that Christen and Ajab bring to this podcast! They make calligraphy accessible and less intimidating for the beginners, and also have golden nuggets for the more experienced penmen. I feel like I’m at a calligraphy sleepover and we are all just hanging out and chatting about what we love!

I am so thankful I found this podcast! I am mostly self-taught (or youtube taught!) and hearing common experiences and problems discussed helps me tremendously! The tips are great, but the best thing for me is the encouraging and real attitude of these down-to-earth hosts. I am encouraged and helped in this great craft!!

It’s really hard to find other people to talk about calligraphy with who understand the tools you use, the particular lingo, and the pure excitement over calligraphy supplies. Thanks for being calligragirls for those of use who need someone to geek out with!

I love this podcast so much, I’m writing my first ever review for it! It’s fun, easy to follow along, and oh so relevant - regardless of skill level! The topics are relatable, and I find myself nodding and/or laughing along quite often. Highly recommend.

Christen and Ajab are wonderful hosts, covering a range of calligraphic topics. It's fun to listen to them talk about different aspects of calligraphy, especially at times when I can't be doing calligraphy. I've recommended this to all my beginnger students! Keep up the good work ladies!

This pod cast is really great for beginners and experienced alike. I wish this was available when I started. There is a wonderful rapport between Ajab and Christen and although they just started the podcast you’d think they’ve done it for years. I highly recommend.
