    Marty Is Great
Marty Smith does a great job with the podcast and brings his great storytelling skills to the audience. One correction from S6, E6 concerning Kirk Cousins’ golf course. It is not in Minnesota, as Marty stated, but it’s located in Saugatuck, MI, close to where Kirk grew up. Keep up the great work.

    A Podcast Like Any Other
Nothing gets me more fired up about The Masters than this podcast. It’s become part of my masters week tradition listening every evening. Mr Nance summed it up perfectly yesterday with saying his iconic phrase & then Marty added the podcast twist. Marty does an amazing job painting a truly vibrant picture explaining the history, tradition, & excitement that encompasses The Masters. It’s my favorite way to start Masters week & get me in tune to the week ahead.

    Masterful
Love to listen to all things AUGUSTA National. This format is much easier to listen to than the prior longer format. Thanks for the update!

The Perfect Partner for the Masters
This pod is the perfect partner to the Masters! Marty Smith has given us some special conversations with incredible sports/golf icons and gives listeners a glimpse into what the National looks like, especially in this unprecedented year having the Masters in the fall. As an Augusta native as well, hearing a passionate story teller like Marty talk about this crowned jewel in my hometown is pretty special. Keep up the great work!

    A Podcast Unlike Any Other
Watching The Masters on TV is one thing. But if you want to actually *feel* like you’re at Augusta National, behind the ropes, and getting to know the people that keep these traditions going... Subscribe and enjoy as Marty & Co. doing their thing.

    Hello Friends
Great discussion with “Jimmy” Nance. His “Hello Friends” story was very touching. Nice work, as usual, Marty, creating that environment for great story telling.

    Storytelling
Marty Smith is a superb storyteller and interviewer that’s able to abstract amazing content from his subjects. A great podcast to start off a great week of the Masters!

    Marty Smith
While I appreciate India Arie’s beautiful rendition of “Georgia On My Mind” during the ESPN promotion campaign for the fall version of The Masters, hearing the piano play that classic masterpiece at the beginning of this podcast gave me, as Marty Smith would say, “chicken skin.” Marty Smith is the perfect complement to this event. He writes and asks questions the common man wants answered, who may never get the opportunity to step on those hallowed grounds in Augusta. Thank you to Masters Chairman Fred Ridley and ESPN for giving Marty the opportunity to bring his unique perspective to all of us. He is a true voice of the South and a consummate professional.

    If you want it told...
Very few people can put aside a predetermined list of interview questions and just chat and listen. Then while listening know there is a nugget in that vein and open the interviewees to tell the rest of the story. I am so excited for this year’s coverage and hearing Marty offer a different perspective.

    Augusta, The Masters = Nostalgia
Marty...thank you!! The Masters Tournament and the enjoyment of it is about the stories and the experiences. Thank you for bringing the stories of the various guests and for someone whom has not been there yet...I look forward to my “Master’s Moment” someday and thank you for sharing yours and others!

    Fellowship
I really enjoyed this podcast series this week. I was fortunate to attend the Masters once back in 1997. Marty did a great job of relating the Masters experience. This included the fellowship with the other patrons and the no cell phones. It was like attending church. And the prices at the concessions were a real bargain in today’s sports world. Augusta was greet and Marty brought that out in his podcast. He made me misty when he discussed having a beer for his dad. I wish I could’ve shared one with mine too. Thanks for a great job!

    Excellent!
I have LOVED every episode of this podcast! Such a great sidekick to accompany this year’s tournament. Couldn’t have asked for a better host for this podcast than Marty Smith - he brings a genuine excitement and passion with each interview he does. Looking forward to seeing this podcast as a part of next year’s tournament too!

Was excited to listen until I heard Marty Smith voice with that strange accent. I could only take a few minutes of it and my head hurt.

Great show Marty Smith is awesome

    Really tough listen
This is a tough listen. Marty is such a pompous sappy emotional douch canoe ala Jim Nantz. He's unwatchable on college football. He's better here but not much.

    Magnificent
I started listening to the podcast as I walked my puppy around the neighborhood here in Raleigh, NC. I felt as if I was transported to Augusta National. Phenomenal work by Marty and his team to make this podcast one of a kind.
