CoachArianaMarieGreat ResourceRelevant topics for any level of assistant. This podcast has helped me navigate from admin to EA to CoS. The Leader Assistant hive mind has saved me many times when I had questions my internal contacts could not answer.
-
IGousbyVery insightful and spot on!As someone who has had the pleasure of sharing my own story on this podcast, I can’t begin to say how instrumental these podcasts have been to the EA role. Jeremy really shed some light into this field and provided a community platform for shared knowledge.

Ohbladee ohbladahDecent GuestsBut the host has the charisma and personality of a wet dishrag. It’s so hard to listen to him.
-
Stacieb1Amazing podcast!Jeremy’s podcast is so good! I’m thrilled to have found it as it’s led to me discovering not only inspiring people in my field but also ways to develop my skills to be a more capable executive assistant. So many great episodes and I’m sure many more to come. *bonus: his book The Leader Assistant is a fabulous resource as well! I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LizE NJGreat podcast for executive, administrative and personal AssistantsJeremy carefully curates the best content for all types of assistants. The insights shared in each episode are very relevant, helpful and engaging for the admin audience. All of his guests come from different backgrounds, have different experiences and offered a wide range of insights. I appreciate his interview style as he knows how dig in into a specific topic without making the guest feel uncomfortable. I look forward to listening to new episodes, engaging, and learning from him and guests.
-
Sammy23435Just started but good so farI would be careful about language about executives. It’s always “he/him/his” assuming it’s always a man in “power”. Would encourage guests and host to be aware of gender bias.
-
thesmithbrittActionable tips and resources galore! After being a stay at home parent for 7 years, I went back into an EA role for a company and an executive that had never had an EA before. I was equally terrified and excited! I needed training, tips and resources which is exactly what I found in this podcast. I recommend The Leader Assistant podcast and book to assistants in my network.

KaraMcKeageA valuable resource!I have found The Leader Assistant podcast a valuable resource and enjoy the variety of people Jeremy interviews. No matter what the guest's background or current role is, there is always a relatable tidbit or inspiration. I really enjoyed episode 202 with Cath Harrison. It is really inspirational that she started her business out of necessity during the start of the pandemic and has quickly learned that she gets to choose the tasks she offers. I had a similar experience in starting my own business and found a lot of freedom in niching down to our zone of genius. Episode 187 with Jamie Vanek was really helpful for me as I am building my management team. I've been practicing delegating so that I can focus on business development instead of the day-to-day tasks. It was really helpful when she pointed out that delegation isn't just assigning a task to someone, it is also empowering them to make decisions. I would highly recommend The Leader Assistant Podcast to anyone in the assistant role. Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience, the insights and advice shared on this podcast are informative and empowering. Jeremy is an excellent host, and his guests offer a wealth of knowledge and experience. Kara McKeage

GGornallEp. 178 did it for me.I’ve been listening to this podcast for the better half of the year now… I began searching for resources that could support a more positive attitude around the career I found myself in as an EA. From the practical applications and tips to the hosts genuine passion for the role, I’ve discovered an incredible world I never knew was available to me and have since made strides in my interview and negotiating skills, title, and business acumen. Episode 178 was particularly impactful for me regarding our importance to business strategy and how our role truly functions under proper leadership. I can’t wait to see what inspiring guest comes on next!

Catie the Career EAThe best resource an EA can use!!I have been listening for about a year. This is the best resource an EA can have in their arsenal. I just finished episode #180. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. This was an amazing episode!!! I’ve been an Assistant for 25 years. I’ve certainly had my fair share of amazing executives as well as the not so great leaders. This episode took me back, remember the good and the bad times. The lesson learned is spot-on with what Jeremy reaffirmed in this episode. You are a valued member of the team, and you are a valuable human being. Everyone deserves to be valued and happy in their work environment. If you are not, it is time to give your skills to an organization and executive who will treat you with respect.

AndoverEALove this Podcast!Jeremy does an amazing job interviewing very interesting EAs on the podcast. I have learned so much and look forward to every episode!

For newbies and seasoned professionals alike, there are nuggets of inspiration to be found in each episode. Thank you for your continued dedication to the evolution of the administrative industry Jeremy!

MsD AdminGreat Conversations!I found Jeremy’s Leader Assistant podcast at a time I was feeling isolated and loosing motivation during the beginning of the pandemic during lockdown. As crazy as it seems, I missed going to the office on most days. I was working from my dining room table and the days were all blending together. A plus of cutting out my usual 2 hour round trip commute was going on long walks around my community with all my newfound time every day. I’m a c-suite EA and was trying to figure out how to best support my Executive and run our front office from home. I searched for Admin related podcast to keep me company while on my walks. I have listened to 175 episodes and it was just what I needed. I have learned so much from Jeremy and all the really great guests he has had. It gave me the motivation I needed to work on being the best leader assistant that I could be and encourage my teammates through a difficult time for all of us. Jeremy has grown into a fantastic interviewer through the episodes and always seems to ask some of the same questions that I would have during his conversations. Now that I'm back in the office most days, I look forward to listening the the Leader Assistant podcast while on my commute. Thanks Jeremy!
-
ALoudfanGreat podcastAll of the podcasts I have listened to have been very relatable and interesting. His guests are well spoken and I always seem to take a little bit of information away.
-
Pinky VasGame changer!Little did I know that episode 121 would change my future. Listening to Emily speak I felt as I was listening to my story. It gave me the push I needed to grow. Believe in my strengths and abilities that have always been valued (just weren’t with a new boss). At a new company and the skies the limit. Thank you for all you do Jeremy! For starting this network, for providing a community for us EA’s. Your book is also a must!
-
ChristyInIndianaFantastic Resource!I’m SO glad I found this podcast! Not only is it chock-full of fantastic insights and relatable stories from fascinating, experienced Admin+ professionals, it’s introduced me to some wonderful new contacts who I already enjoy interacting with and learning from. I genuinely feel motivated and inspired by Jeremy and his guests. Plus, he’s written a fantastic book that also has a great online community (definitely check it out and join on his website!). I can’t recommend this podcast highly enough, it’ll help you up your game and feel seen. It’s not easy to create content about ‘work stuff’ that’s actually enjoyable to listen to, but Jeremy has done it and I’m grateful.
-
Admin to EAGreat podcastThis is such a great podcast with all the info shared. This podcast provides information for those wanting to develop in their current role as well as hearing from others in this role what they do and the partnership and support they provide for the executive.

savvy_entrepreneurA podcast for more than leadersThis is a podcast where you think it will be all "business-y", and yes, it is. But so much of what they cover can be applied to your personal life. The ideas presented, back by research, can really make you re-think the way you conduct your business and your life. Well worth the time.
-
BarbEMGGreat podcastI always find Jeremy’s podcasts both interesting and relevant to what I’m doing. His guests are interesting and well spoken and most time provide a nugget of information which I can apply to my situation. Thanks Jeremy! Keep up the good work😁

MBA, 16 YR EA, and Vet from SDAwesome Information for Leaders and EAsGreat content on leadership and the Executive Assistant career. I’ve been an EA and Office Manager for 16 years and have found knowledge from every episode I’ve listened to so far. I also added The Leader Assistant book by Jeremy Burrows to my audible library. Thanks for the content!

SL from HoustonPodcast #55 with Libby MooreVery inspirational talk and was so intently interesting. Thank you for sharing both your story and Libby’s.
-
KLS from Kirkland, WAGreat guests but something a bit offHappy to find a podcast about EAs, and the guests are great, but the host does not seem into it at all. It sounds like he is reading from a list of questions and just moving from one to the next without listening or caring about the answers.
-
Whit_bee5 starsObsessed! Must listen 👂
-
MdubsIIHighly recommend- A fantastic EA resourceI’m so glad I found this podcast. Good, free resources like this are invaluable for EAs. You get a broad range of interviews with seasoned EAs from around the world who know their stuff, have inspiring attitudes and share their way of doing the many tasks we are faced with on a daily basis. I always walk away with new ideas to apply to my job and a broader network of people to follow and connect with on LinkedIn. The host simply wants the best for people in our position and isn’t afraid to promote other professionals in the industry who have their own books, blogs, etc. Here’s to building a network that matters with people who are the best at what they do.
-
Kaleen SkersiesInformative and InspiringAs a seasoned Executive Assistant, Jeremy provides relatable stories

kim 4582LisaLove this podcast! Jeremy Burrows never disappoints. His podcasts always leave you with valuable content and practical tools to take away. Jeremey... keep those episodes coming!!
-
slw212It has potential...This podcast has potential, but I have to agree with some of the other negative reviews. Jeremy tends to have a very monotone demeanor and is very repetitive in his interview style. He doesn’t engage with his guests on anything more than surface level pleasantries. I find myself cringing throughout each episode at all of the awkward pauses and transitions. Podcasting is a conversational art, and I’m just not sure this is one of Jeremy’s strengths. I would also prefer to hear from current EA’s rather than people that are no longer working in the industry.
-
NatMakkHighly Recommend! The Leader Assistant podcast has been a refreshing reminder of why I’m an Assistant and why I love being an Assistant, despite some of the bad days. Jeremy does a great job of leading the conversation with Assistants or Assistant Advocates and allowing them to speak their truth and be their authentic selves. I’d highly recommend this podcast to any Assistant, Advocate, or Leader, regardless of their number of service years or industry.
-
highhopeshbUntapped potentialI keep coming back to this podcast wanting and hoping to love it, but I just can’t. This podcast has such potential but the host’s lackluster demeanor and interview style leaves a lot to be desired from these interviews. There is no conversation with these exceptional Assistants, it’s just “here’s a question”...receives answer...responds literally “mmm, yeah. Cool”...Asks another question. There is so much information being left on the table if you would just converse with the guest and dig a little deeper. I’m so frustrated that these opportunities are being wasted because I’m really in what advice these EAs have to give from their vast experience. Please, act interested in what your guests do and have to say and ask the important questions!!

clc1080Must-Listen for all Executive Assistants!I’m a fairly seasoned C-Suite EA with an epic fire lit beneath me to grow, expand and flex my leadership muscles. I stumbled on this podcast series and have picked up so many tips along the way, including Jeremy’s book and online/Slack community for EAs! I’ve connected with some of the Podcast interviewees via LinkedIn and look forward to expanding my ever-growing toolkit of skills, connections and various resources. The EA community needs each other and Jeremy is helping to bridge the gap between us. Listen to this Podcast... you won’t be disappointed!

dont make appointment on app.Awesome! This podcast is great. You hear from different levels of assistants, some CEO's and their stories. Depending how you look at it, it makes me want to be a better assistant because there are so many things to learn from his interviews. Many interviews offer services, technology, and awesome advice. My favorites are stories about saving the day and the other is the biggest mistakes made and what you learn from it. Thanks Jeremy!
-
_teri_cGreat podcast for administrative professionals!Jeremy has a lot of valuable experience that he shares. Also, his guests support the top executives all over the world. Their insight and advice is invaluable as well. This is content worthy of your time if you want to continue growing professionally.
