Bike pilotWould be great without Jack LukeBe it podcast or videos I can do without Jack’s condescending smarmy presentation style.
-
lennon2020Audio woesAs a long-time listener of the pod, recent episodes have truly fallen in terms of listenability. Apologies at the top about technical constraints don’t cut it. Think of our ears. Put out something you would listen to yourselves or don’t bother. Cheers.
-
CubbieBlueNWIAudio quality unevenSome great content. I think. Because 1/3 of the time I can’t understand the speakers. UK accents have a lot of diversity. When everyone is talking fast and chiming in it’s really hard to keep the flow while listening only. If you produced show notes and had chapters it might help. We are overhearing shop talk or phone conversations. But it’s not exactly like most audio podcasts in terms of audio clarity and pacing.

napptymInconsistent audio…The audio on these podcasts is madness. It is very inconsistent. Intros are very loud and oversaturated. Then when the show starts, you can barely hear them them it’s hard to enjoy the great topics that they explore.
-
ScooteriousAwesomeThis pod is consistently good but the recent interview with Tom Ritchey is one of the best I’ve heard in a long while. He went off the industry’s script so we may not hear from Tom again- but so informative and interesting. Everyone on this podcast is very Intelligent- Tom Ritchey is a genius.

TxDocLovely techThese folks provide very nice current reviews of all kinds of cycling equipment that I find useful.

OZisKTBLove BikeRadar Hate the AUDIOGreat content. I’m happy to learn their way of speaking, but it doesn’t work when using ‘recycled audio gear from 1972.’ The podcasters, as another reviewer stated, sound like they are in a gym shower! Add to that the crackling static and dropped words. I see so many unaffiliated, individual podcasters and YouTubers deliver professionally produced content from their office or bedroom. Unfortunately BikeRadar hasn’t set a minimum quality bar for this content. Love the brand, wish they loved themselves enough to produce quality content. BikeRadar is the authority on bikes and cycling gear. We have experts on three continents constantly testing all types of bikes, parts, clothing and accessories, from road and mountain to commuting and time trialing. With more than 11,000 product reviews available at your fingertips, plus loads of advice on maintenance and training, BikeRadar delivers the world’s best cycling advice.

mattylifeSub-par topicsLast few months of podcast have been super boring. Seems like someone else took over the responsibility for the podcast and has been phoning it in.
-
SuperGlideFX-EGreat mtb Content Just wish I could hear what they’re sayingLot of mumbling rapid fire speech and swallowing words. Talking on speakerphones in a tile bathroom they’re driving me crazy. I wish I could hear what they’re saying but I can’t because the audio quality is so poor. Please get a sound guy please figure out how to make sound go into the microphone and come out of the speaker. When you look away from a speakerphone and mumble nobody can hear you.

JimV 1Waste of timeNobody gives a BLEEP about the tires that come on a new bike. You guys are everything wrong with bike reviews.

GSCChrisReally greatI always enjoy listening to these guys from across the pond. I work as a bike mechanic and always seem to learn something new.
