Semplice is the worst website builder ever, it’s hard to use, confusing to understand and slow in response. It should never be recommended ever ever ever. Other than that the host knows what to ask and overall the podcast is very helpful.

I just discovered this podcast and have been really enjoying the questions asked. I feel like I’m getting a lot of great inside information on how an illustrator really works.

I love all the very specific questions other hosts wouldn’t ask. Keep it coming!

Great questions, interesting guests, but the host interrupts a bit too much. Although they may be experienced in the field, I feel the host comes off as a know-it-all at times. I’d much prefer a humbler approach to interviewing (almost acting as if they know nothing), as the audience may not be privy to everything the host knows and has experienced. Overall good podcast and I look forward to future episodes, show notes on the website are very helpful as well.

This podcast is full of extremely helpful advice, insight, wisdom, and genuine artists and illustrators. I have been listening non stop and feeling more inspired than ever to put in the work to make a career out of illustration. Julia is a wonderful host with a very calm, relaxed style that makes me feel like everything is going to be okay. This podcast also doesn’t make me feel like there is pressure, it just feels like there are so many possibilities and the world of illustration is generous when you invest yourself in it! Enjoy :)

This podcast has so much helpful insight and resources especially for new illustrators. Julia has done an amazing job engaging and asking indepth questions to really understand the perspectives and experiences from well known illustrators. She's even compiled a list of notes and resources from each episode!! I can't wait to hear more episodes!

We've definitely been needing an interview-based podcast about illustration. This one is thoughtful, engaging and honest. As an illustrator, I find this podcast incredibly motivating without being cheerleader-y, which is refreshing. Super interesting, good production quality, can't wait for more episodes.
