I love listening to this podcast, one thing I would recommend is making it a little shorter. I love Harry Potter and have read the series several times so I’m glad there’s a new Harry Potter story

I love this fanfic series and I love this voice actor! I enjoy seeing the Harry Potter world through a different author and it’s just been super cool and enjoyable!

This audiobook is amazing because it’s not like one episode. It’s like 3 million episodes. I don’t really really like how long it was, but it was so fun listening to it while I was going to sleep. And I’m really excited to go check out his YouTube channel. Not many voice actors make a YouTube channel about Minecraft and he’s their voices on like mobs and stuff so I’m really excited about that so this guy is amazing. You should go check out more of his stuff and give us a five star rating.

This book is really awesome

I love how fast you’re getting through the chapters and I’m stoked to see that you’re following up with significant digits, cant help but to wonder if you ever heard of the sequel/prequel hpmor orders of magnitude, and of you might be planing to follow up with it. If you havent heard of it i highly recommend you five it a read and maybe consider following up with it, anyway great work 🙂

This has to be the best alternate time line for Harry Potter I’ve ever heard or read. **Update** Now that I am caught up to November 2023, I gotta say, this is one of my favorite podcasts ever. I follow some great stuff like NoSleep and The PPP, and even LeVar Burton Reads, but this podcast has quickly eclipsed the others. My only fear is that it’s about to conclude.

Hermione is his protection. She is his shield. He needs to get to her and use her as she is intended to be used. No one there can attack or harm her. How Harry does that is unknown.

Love Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality and this reader. Take Harry Potter and give him a different adopted dad (a good guy, not Vernon Dursley), compress all 7 years into one book, get an amazing college-level class on rationality while being completely entertained by amazing plot twists with characters you already know and love… I save it to listen to during medical procedures as it helps me escape the miserable pain of the process!

If the book could just be read normal then maybe more stars. The narrator is just so bad it’s so so hard to take this seriously.

So good!!🫠but not as good as the original one but still good! The 7th and 8th r not so great .

The story is fun, even if the writing can be a bit inconsistent. All the 11 year olds are too precocious, but if you just enjoy the ride you are in for a real treat. Exploring the wizarding world through the lens of the enlightenment and rationality is a delight. For example, I never considered how evil or compromised the ministry of magic is to employe dementors in its criminal justice system. Or how challenging it would be to prove guilt in a world of Polyjuice potion, time turners, memory charms, and imperio curses.

Admitting the fact that I hate the idea of mugglising magic by trying to explain it, and the boring argument of science vs magic, still for someone who’d suffered 7 books of stupid events, unreasonable incidents, unjustifiable outcomes and totally, a whole weak irrational storyline ending everytime to the boring phrase of “love and friendship”, I liked the scheme of reasonable thinking and rationality which is valued equally in the muggles’ world and ours. Although some arguments are unnecessarily too long, the general way in which things are going on in this world - though may be somehow less pattionate - at least doesn’t insult any sane mind! Well done for fixing some of the crap that mid-level aweful muggle author Rowling has left in our childish history!

How dare you turn the great series into this??? THE VOICE IS HORRIBLE!!! THE PLOT LINE IS WEAK!!! HARRY IS A GOOD PERSON!!! SHAME ON YOU!

Was very surprised to find this since I’ve listened to the other version multiple times all the way through. I have many issues with the other version despite it also being good. But this new version is a much needed alternative. Very professional, evenly read, well voiced, great characters. Thank you so much for this audiobook!!

Episode 7 is poo, talking about trying to murder someone! Harry Potter would not talk about murdering sum one, nonsense think about it. Worth lesioning to, 5 out of 10. 2 stars.

What in the actual heck did I just listen to?!? How on earth can you take such a wonderful story and turn it into this?! There are things discussed that have no business in a book that will be easily accessible by children. Shame on you!!!!!!

I found this podcast by accident and I am so proud of the development and creativity of this podcast keep it up !

Harry Potter was such a good, lovable character in the books because he was so kind, empathetic, innocent, thoughtful, and lovely. In this version, he’s cocky, manipulative, selfish, spoiled, egotistical and bratty. In fact, there have been many times where I find myself just wanting to yell at him and tell him to stop being such a brat and to stop complaining that no one listens, that he’s literally being so dramatic and that he has it easy. By taking away the true essence of the character, which was the true essence of the original stories, it detracts from the story that you’re trying to tell. And when you can’t connect with, much less like, the main character, there’s not a good way to connect with the story. When you have a dislikable character, you don’t have the right foundations to build a story. Even if you’re trying to make Harry seem like the villain, you still have to make him likable, else everything else just falls apart. Like Doctor Doom or the Master: They’re both villains, but by all the stars, they are FANTASTIC villains! I think you have a good idea, you just need to work on your character of Harry a bit. Good luck and allons-y!
