    Struggle bus
Thank you John for taking the wheel of my struggle bus, also thank you for taking your time and effort to make this podcast, it has been great to hear that my feelings matter, as men we are made to feel they don’t. It is opening my mind to seeing yourself or another professional on getting some help. Ross

    Fantastic
Dr. John has a way that makes you feel like things will improve. I suffer from anxiety and depression. I noticed that I feel optimistic about my condition since listening. He has a kind of get to the point way of explaining things. He also does a review of everything that he talks about during the podcast. I find myself listening to certain episodes many times over. I even take notes. I’m very optimistic and I am so glad that I found this podcast. I highly recommend!

    Excellent so far
Started listening today, listened to several episodes so far, and it’s solid. Not cringey “alpha male” advice, but genuine reflection and introspection into common issues facing men.

    Hiding mental health
Thanks for your thoughts about hiding mental health. Negative Affects: Feeds shame and fear. Makes symptoms stronger I’ve felt this all my adult life. I don’t know how to accept myself and am making a commitment to you that I will look in a mirror and say. I love and accept myself just as I am. And ask myself, How will the person you love, that loves me too feel when they find out im concealing an important aspect of myself from them.

    Super Helpful!
I really enjoy listening to his podcasts. My favorite is 7 ways to combat negative self-talk. I know Dr. John makes these pods in his home and doesn't have a studio. But you'd never know this, based on the quality. I'm very grateful that he makes these available to us. It's like I am experiencing therapy with someone and he is talking directly to me.

Great content but the smacking noise is like nails to a chalk board
Love the content. One simple fix for the smacking lips noise is to have the mic further away. However you’ll lose that nice deep voice sound. To keep that, look into using RX9 by Izotope. It’s software that pinpoints those noises so you can keep the nice deep voice. Really wanna listen more and do enjoy the content but I’m not able to listen long. All the best

    Exceptional
Insightful information on mental health issues, strategies and tips on how to deal with issues affecting men mentally. Dr. Moore ability to articulate in simple terms makes this podcast the best. It’s like seating in a therapy session without having to pay for it. Tony A. San Diego, CA

    Super Helpful!
A friend told me about the podcast and I found it super helpful for my issues with self esteem and anxiety. What I appreciate about Dr. John is how he does his podcast in a down to earth way and without the arrogance of so many in the psychology field. Clear sound and great voice! The episode on finding your purpose in life was extremely good. Someone said in another review they couldn't hear him because his voice was so low. That seemed odd because I hear him just fine and I have listened on multiple devices.

    Amazing.
So on top of having my own counseling that I see on the regular, dr. John has helped me so much with his podcast. I am going through a very rough time right now with my fiancée and he has helped me gain the tools and thought process (along with my therapist) to help me through these hard times. And better my self. For me.

    Great podcast!
I have become a huge fan of Dr. John! I have listened to a few other podcasts but somehow I find myself coming back to his podcast since it provides great practical insights and information. My favorite podcast episode is the one related to anxiety where he explains the taping technique. I have used the technique and it works! I really appreciate all the effort he puts into creating each episode. I really think this is one of the best podcast for guys out there!

In the shoes of a dating app CEO
Now let’s be real dating apps are not intended for people to meet the love of their life they are essentially like a slot machine in which you swipe over and over and you are the user and the buyer all of which contributes to the profit of large corporations that profit off single peoples misfortune in their love life. Now why would a company want to give up their users by getting them the love of their life they want to keep as many users as possible and keep them for as long as possible it doesn’t matter who they are how much money they have because if they don’t buy anything well guess what apps have all your data that they sell....think about that for a second you know it’s true ...if you owned a dating app would you want to give all your users away absolutely not.

I've listened to a number of podcasts and I have to say this one was helpful to me in ways the others were not. I appreciate the direct way Dr. John speaks to his listeners and the format of the show. I am hoping he makes some more in the future. I've listened to them all and they were great. The imposter syndrome show was my favorite!

    Excellent and Raw
First off I just want to thank you for creating this podcast. I’ve struggled with shame, anxiety, PTSD, etc...for years—all while being a top performing military officer and leading others. It’s incredibly difficult for men to deal with the some of the issues you’re talking about here, and understanding the effects of our childhood are critical! The intertwined meditation is what makes this really special. Keep up the great work, Sir!
