    Always all the way legit!
What up guys, loving the pod as always! Y’all always deliver with some inside info that I didn’t know especially when it comes to LCN & organized crime 👍🏼 Yo Heath, I checked out Star City Murders this weekend & really enjoyed it! Strong role by you & the production value was good too. Looking forward to more great content from you guys in “this thing of ours” -Erich

    Pros & Cons
Pros - I love the show, there’s a lot of great guest and interesting stories. Cons - Scott Bernstein is a very knowledgeable in his field, but he constantly interrupts his guests to a fault. I appreciate all of the knowledge and information he has to share but sometimes his guests can’t finish a sentence or get a word in edgewise. I’ve stopped episodes midway through because I get tired of all the interruptions.

    Stop smacking your lips 🤣
Love the show. Have for a long time but, Scott, please stop smacking your lips. I have to turn the show off at times because it gets so frustrating to hear. Other than that, great show. Keep up the good work.

Good pod but where’s Roberto? I know he’s not working too hard at the ticket lol

    Educational & Entertaining!
Scott and Jimmy are incredibly well-versed in organized crime. Their interviews and in-depth analysis of this topic—mafia, biker gangs, etc—kept me engaged and entertained the entire time. I’ve listened to this entire podcast from their first episode to present day in the course of about two months. I’d highly recommend!

    Learn your craft
This is a great podcast and very entertaining/educational. That being said the host HAS GOT TO STOP INTERRUPTING PEOPLE! Just because you know everything doesn’t mean you have to insert yourself into everything your guest say. Either you are insecure or just beyond obnoxious. You reference stern all the time… he is great because he allows guests to speak. Again great podcast ad it’s very interesting.

    Great off the chart show
The wealth of pragmatic information with incredible underbelly guests. The first of its kind a somewhat of a 60 Minutes of OC true crime. I can’t tell you how much positivity you guys brought to my life. It’s like at my fingertips I have a fresh, intelligent, gentlemanly conversation. Im not trying play a violin but I am handicapped, and I have to hustle. Because of you guys its like I’m never alone anymore. I want to give you guys my never ending gratitude, Mr. Scott and Mr. Jimmy. Please be back often, Mr. Jimmy. Thanks again guys.

    Fantastic show!
    Keep em coming!

    What a Shame!
As other reviewers have stated great content but Scott’s need to dominate the whole conversation and NOT let the guest speak is very irritating and makes listening to this podcast a bit unbearable, I’m out of here!

    Audio
For gods sakes guys please stay on mic & clean up the audio!!! Otherwise the show & content are great! Love you Scott & I know you’re excited & passionate but PLEASE, let the guests talk. FYI Carmine Galante didn’t die with the cigar in his mouth. When the cops let the press on a Daily News photographer put it in since Tony always had one stuffed in there.

    Fantastic show
Let me start by saying I hold you guys near and dear to heart, my dad was a red neck farm boy from the Irish Hills area. Had an aunt and uncle who both retired from Ford in the late 70’s. I’ve got nothing but love for Detroit. Having been born and raised in Vegas during the Spilotro era I just wanted to make one comment about your 6/6/23 episode. My mother was good friends with one of Tony’s associates, his daughter and I were classmates so I have a bit of working knowledge about his crew. You referenced the scene in Casino where the guy killed in the swimming pool was based on the Vandermark incident. To my knowledge that wasn’t the case. That was the Jerry Lister hit, Frank Cullotta had used underpowered rounds to keep the noise level down but they didn’t penetrate his skull as intended. He even reloaded a couple times, got fed up and ended up drowning him in his pool. You guys are the experts, if I’m wrong about this…..please feel free to correct me.

Need to fix mic can't understand half the show
Good show I think it would be if could hear it all.
  • haaseoj79
Scott talks a little too much
Content is good but when you have someone like Michael Fransse on, let him talk. Don’t spend 3 minutes explaining a question before you ask it.
  • Tom C0323
    Scott’s Rudeness
I tell you they are a great program with great shows but someone needs to sit Scott down and make him listen to these episodes. All he does is tell Jimmy to make a point, than talks over the entire point. Very hard to listen to lately for me!
  • FireMetal
    Trenton activity
Could you guys cover an episode about mob activity in Trenton.
  • yoga.aha
    Great show
Great show, especially the interviews. Darrell Chambers is inspiring, thank you for sharing his story, and thank you Darrel Chambers for making it through all that injustice pushed down on you. (Please filter out the mouth clicks and lip smacks.)

    Mafia action
Love this pod when I’m driving for work. Really enjoyed the El Chapo and I just purchased the book off of Amazon in hardcover edition Thanks fellas Nick Just listened to the Vegas lake mead pod and that was awesome. When you were taking movies in the casino scenes it made me want to ask Scott, if you were to make a movie on a mob story never told and this time. What story would you want done and who is playing what roles in the movie. There’s gotta be something not done that you would want to see. Thanks again for these pods Nick
  • @mickeyicebox
    Alpo
Love the work you guys do, thank you. You guys said you’d wish to know more about Alpo in DC , you’ve probably heard it by now but check out the former FBI officer interview on YouTube who caught him in Virginia, he breaks it all down
  • DMan423
    Great
Great show and a rare thoroughly enjoyable listen. I’m from New England and the stuff about the Patriarca’s is great
  • stg923
    Love the details.
You guys are great. Unbelievable knowledge. I’m actually from the Berwyn/ Cicero area. I ran in some of these circles. You guys are spot on!! Keep your great work up.

    Great show
Great show excellent mob content. Only suggestion would be some history on LA, SF, and especially San Jose.
  • toughbulls
    Good show
Enjoy this podcast but could do without the interruption of guests. Frustrating as a listener. If you have a guest, let them talk.
  • Todd Hedges
    Great guests and informative…but
I enjoy this podcast very much for the information, wild stories and excellent guests. But please stop interrupting the guests every 30 seconds to show your knowledge and we don’t have to have context on every single thing especially when it’s details that don’t make the story better. Let the guest tell the story and when he’s done, then add to it. I’m a podcaster and the worst thing you can do is, act like you know more than the guest (even if you do), and constantly interrupt them. Just some minor changes that will make the show even better and it’s a good show now.
  • John-jon Mcgoo
    Great stuff
Scott, you're one talented journalist. Keep up the great work. Best info out there. We look forward to your continued success!! The latest podcast with these three will sweep any other similar podcast in this genre. Penisi has the best incite. Three greats all in one show!!! Do it again!!!!

    Harry the hunchback Ricobene
Love the show!can you guys do an episode on Harry the hunchback Riccobene I find him fascinating and I don’t think I’ve heard him come up on any of your episodes yet.
  • Stein03
    Informative
One of the best podcasts out there. Great variety, great guests and two knowledge hosts. The episode about the military having a criminal element was enlightening. I have been trying to reach out and discuss it more with the hosts. But I’m not a high level creeper. I served from 2005-2009, know people who came from gangs and went back. Also, spoke with many who were living “double lives”. Would love to share what I’ve experienced with these two. Keep putting out great content.

    Addicted and more
These guys are the most knowledgeable people on mob related news than anyone else and it comes off so natural. Think of binge watching shows on Netflix, this is binge worthy podcast. I also find the guys super relatable and enjoy their chemistry which is why I’m flying through their entire podcast catalog! Great guests too! 10/10 find!

    Great show
Hey guys love the show. I would like to give you a suggestion if you haven’t heard about it, the Dixie mafia and Billy Sunday Birt. It’s an awesome story and his son Billy Stonewall Birt would probably love for you to interview him. There is a podcast about him called (In the Red Clay) and it’s great. I have his two books and have talked to him personally on the phone and he’s great and an awesome character and loves to share his dads story. Just a suggestion thanks. Jason
  • TourettesFTW
    Only one suggestion
I LOVE the podcast and the guests you have. So informative and interesting. Thank you!! If I could just make one suggestion for Scott.. I know you have vast knowledge and we all appreciate that. But if you could stop interrupting your guests to correct them, it would be so much better. There are ways of politely "asking" if something was correct after they finish speaking rather than interrupting their sentences. It's hard to listen to. 😊 Thank you again for all you do! I really appreciate your hard work!
  • Jonny D Detroit
    Love this podcast
Great show and very informative. Keep up the great work boys!
  • Pod_Master
    STOP INTERRUPTING!
The show has great guests, but the host cannot stop interrupting them and interjecting comments to show his own brilliance or beat the guest to the answer. Shut up and let the guests answer. Otherwise, great podcast.
  • jetkmt
    Let the guest speak
So y’all want to tell the story or donyou want the guest to
  • Cahill4225
    Great crime podcast
I’m always excited when I see that a new episode is in the feed. Always interesting and informative- if you like crime and mob stuff - it’s a must listen to podcast!
  • Garden Perfect
    Why I have you 3 stars…
Love when you talk about Detroit. Why are you only on ‘woke’ platforms? Why not Rumble instead of YouTube? Hope you’re not a woke podcast that hates conservatives.
  • mbentley06
    Fantastic
The guys are so knowledgeable. It is such an insightful pod and appreciate all the hard work.
  • agostamain
Scott and Jimmy KNOW what they're talking about!
Not only are they well spoken and entertaining, but Scott is an Encyclopedia of Mafia history, and Jimmy adds fantastic insight and comments into the show. I would highly recommend!
  • swag4242
good except unneeded one sided political views
Stick with good mafia content instead of sounding like a bunch simple minded know it alls. Mainly with fbi guy from Hoffa show and patty from Detroit show.
  • Rock N Roll Gurl
    Nice podcast
As someone who has some pretty ruthless family members with a mom who grew up in Chicago this podcast is pretty nice. Not going to say anything to personal but two words. Birth-dads family. But yea. Umm nice podcast love listening to you. Peace.

Great podcast guys. Very well done top to bottom. I’d love to hear some UK organized crime podcasts.
  • Lance MoonRider
Detroit City Police and City Hall
After watching White Boy, it seems like Detroit city hall and of were more ruthless than some criminals. I’d love to hear an episode or two about Detroit City people like Kym Worthy, Gill Hill and assorted mayors Cheers
  • Bmoney662
    Alpo Martinez
Great podcast. The movie Paid in Full was produced by JayZ and is based off the true story of Alpos life. Great movie. You guys would love it!
  • CokdupMONKEY
Perfect podcast for any history buff
Love these guys. Love the guests. They make my days working better. Didnt think i would get into learning stuff like ths but they make it fun and keep it real. And they have there “s” together when it comes to the recording and releasing. Ive listen to other podcasts that arnt edited or proof heard by the broadcasters before releasing so halfway through and episode youll lose one of the hosts and then they mess with the volume and blow your ears out or make it hard to hear. These guys…. Nah never worry about that. Hey fellas, think you could create a list or two of movies, docus, books, and maybe other podcasts like yours that you would suggest? Hour long episode doesnt help an 8hr day and i do love OC tv and movies. Heck rank. Oh, and what about audio books that dont put you to sleep? I tried the Five Families one.. boy…. Drowzy…
