Hellz yeah……

DJs Mark Paradise, Maus and Tom Gold give us a great show every week featuring the latest music from across the genre of dark electronic music. Guest DJs and musicians frequent the show to join them in their discussions on the songs between sets. If you love EBM, dark electro, synth pop, and goth music you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been listening for 7 years and these folks never disappoint. There is always something fresh to bring into my music library and funny banter to break up the sets. This is some top notch content.

I came across Communion After Dark around 2014 when my previous go-to Industrial/EBM/Gothic podcast, The Ungodly Hour, stopped being created in 2013. Since then, I have gone back and listened to the entirety of the Communion podcast archive several times as I wait for the newest show each Monday. I enjoy the vast music knowledge of the DJs and their individual personalities mixed with a panoply of music from all over the spectrum of Alt/Ind/Goth/EBM/EDM/Punk/Dark Wave/Etc. Even when the songs are not my cup of tea, I still enjoy listening so my musical palette continues to explore new sounds, rhythms, and moods. I have always hoped that some day I could make it over to FL to meet each of them and thank them in person for their fastidious and comical (at times) curations over the years. These people care deeply about their music no matter the type and they mix classics with the newest creations by a bewildering cast of bands and individuals. So, thank each of you (and your host of guest DJs) for what you do. I appreciate each and every podcast. Special note: Your inclusion of sound bites from BSG and TOS as well as your sometimes seriously vague movie dialogues at the beginning and end of each show is like coming home each week to my favorite friends.

Long time listener here. Been listening since I stumbled across CafD back in 2011. Showed me a lot of industrial music that I fell in love with. Wish I could have access to the older podcasts.

The scene's not dead! (Undead undead undead....) For about two hours each week, three regular DJs (and occasional guests) spin the latest Goth, Industrial, etc. from both independent and labelled artists. DJs Maus, Paradise, and Gold scour the internet (and get sent stuff for free from A&R) to keep YOU informed and keep the scene alive. With specialty shows like all-covers and all-requests, this communion from Tampa is what you've been missing.

I just got podcasts on my phone and this is the first thing I looked up. As Barney once said “cha cha real smooth”.

I look forward to Mondays because of this podcast! I love hearing DJs Paradise, Maus and Gold banter about things and try to pronounce German words. If feels like a fun gathering of friends just hanging around and listening to new music. I have found so many bands on this podcast that were new to me and have since not only bought the music, but gone to see the bands live. Thanks CAD crew!!

You guys are my weekly dose of new music, I listen to your show and re-runs every week to pass the hours I’m working alone. I’ve found some really great music, and I love your banter besides! I’m a network engineer and installer for a fairly small WISP in Northeast Oregon. I’d go mad without your sets, working through my repetitive tedium.

I've been listening to this podcast for, goodness, 5 years now I believe. Every week I smile when I listen to Maus, Paradise, and Gold banter between their sets. I wouldn’t be able to handle commute bumper to bumper traffic without wanting to do something crazy without these people. They save lives.

I've been listening for years. The interplay between the DJs is entertaining and they've got the best mixes of industrial/dark music. This is the only must-listen music podcast in my book.
