Mmm1090A wealth of knowledgeThis podcast is amazing! The hosts are entertaining and seem like great people. They are a wealth of knowledge. By far my favorite animal welfare podcast. I’m not in the animal welfare profession but I am an advocate and this podcast has been so helpful in my advocacy work. Great job Ashley, Ashley, and Dan!

NChamplin23Great podcastI thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast in my free time, between calls, on the way into work, and sometimes even on the way home. It is very interesting, and I honestly wish everybody would listen to a few of them.

2 horsey girlsEducational and InspirationalAs a volunteer equine humane investigator, this podcast offers so much valuable information for EHIs who do not receive training on how to conduct an investigation. As someone who wants to be as efficient and effective for the horses as possible, it is a relief to have this resource to learn from and for guidance in being thorough, detailed, and as professional as possible.
-
CKStarbrightI’m So Glad You’re Here!I just found this podcast, and I’m so happy I did. I’m an ACO in a very small, rural town, sort of floating through it on my own. To hear about other ACO’s and issues is great! I feel validated and relieved to hear other ACO’s talk about all the issues and have some of the same concerns and to hear different solutions! Thank you.

Alecw99Best Animal Control podcast out there! As an Animal Control Officer it’s great to have a podcast to listen to about a job that gets forgotten in the mix! Keep up the great work! This show definitely is worth listening to
-
ambermaeLOVE this podcastI just recently was listening to the podcast regarding wild animals, and how humans are causing more wildlife to die off due to relocating when not necessary. opportunity to be a guest on the show and I had such a blast!
-
MythicalShrimpGreat PodcastI’m not one to listen to Podcasts, but this podcast definitely stands out. I’m an ACO and it’s a great way to be informed.
-
Rose_HawthornLove it!I love it! Love to hear the stories and experiences and more information for the job! I've been an ACO for almost two years now and it's awesome hearing some experiences and more learning information that might not be able to be provided in my area.
-
missmags54So informative and entertaining! As a new CSO, I feel like I am learning everything as I go. Listening to this podcast really helps me gather more information and hear about real life experiences that other officer’s encounter.

-
JT AllenI Love ItWhat a fun, amazing, insightful, investigative, informative and great way to talk about our favorite people - animals! But not only the great, furry and fuzzy parts of them. This show addresses neglect, abuse, and other terrible treatment of animals in a way that is helpful towards making animals safer. This is a fantastic podcast and a very important podcast as well.
-
MamaResilienceEye openingThis podcast provides an inside look at the world of animals in a way that I have not experienced before. I learned a lot!
-
Ten Hands One HomeDemystifying the golden ruleThis podcast addresses animal cruelty, dangers and dysfunctions of no kill shelters and the simple practice of exercising humanity by examining our treatment of all animals. It’s a very matter or fact style to address some of the atrocities and misconduct that has evolved from confusing animal ordinances implemented with the “best intentions”. I hear the strong investigative and pragmatic approach of the hosts and like how they seek the opinions of their guests and respectfully share their own experiences too. The biggest downside is that those who would best benefit from the content are likely not the audience who is listening.
-
Docatcher303Stellar!This is a great podcast that provides insight into the animal welfare world from the perspective of humane officers. Great show.
-
AlbertparrotLove it!This podcast is awesome. The hosts are authentic and present serious topics in a humorous and lighthearted way. The occasional drop of the F bomb also suits my personality. :)

Sheyenne25#1 PawcastHi guys! This is Sheyenne with an S from DFW Texas! Your podcast is my favorite thing to listen to when I’m driving, working and feeding the horses. Yes Kyle I am one of those crazy English riders. I am a few months away from being 21 and have really struggled with figuring out what I want to do for a career. I only changed my major 3 times (-__- ). The current major being Social Work. About a month ago I thought about animal control and was really hesitant because of the whole dog catcher stigma. Thankfully, I happened upon your podcast about two weeks ago. As of yesterday I’ve listened to all of the episodes. It has been so educational! I love learning about the profession of an ACO. Y I have decided to pursue a career as an Animal Control Officer. Y’all have definitely helped me in making that decision. I can’t wait to “Protect people from animal and protect animals from people.” Y’all are definitely my favorite podcast. Thanks guys! #Kuranda #FutureACO #KeepinItHumane

Jessica "Ohio"Thanks!!I love listening and learning. I also love the fact I can say oh crap I have done/thought that. I joined the animal protection game late. I started volunteering as a kennel tech in June 2019. In July was asked to become a humane agent went to OPOTA (Ohio peace officer training academy) in September. Was sworn in as a humane agent in October. So I clean kennels, train the dogs and run the abuse/cruelty calls. I love hearing what all you guys handle and do and feel like I have a place to talk to people who understand and have a good bit of friendship to help out. Thanks for all y’all do!

C. Chamberlain2/7/2020 “Paw”cast Ep. 23Keep up the fantastic work gentlemen! I love the idea of being able to listen to a relatable podcast where I can sit and bust out with “I’ve done that too!”, or “I had the same call last week!”. Well done so far! I’ve been in the ACO field for 13 years, and have already learned some new techniques by listening in. On this episode I really enjoyed the state rankings by Officer Ettinger, the LIVE ACO by ACO Joe was great 😂 and it was cool hearing some of the strong/weak characteristics of each other! Thank y’all for what you do and stay safe #Kuranda #ACOStrong #HumaneRoundUp -ACO Chad Chamberlain (Duncanville, TX)

JennchiladaHey guys!I work in pet care, primarily dog walking for a company in the PNW and I’ve actually listened to your podcast for awhile now, I’d been researching different animal welfare careers and found you guys on your 2nd episode and also OPP on YouTube! Love the growth of the podcast, you guys are hilarious. And now with the humane humans podcast as well, I’m listing to that as well! But a couple months later an ACO job opened up in my county, and who got offered the job? This girl! I thank you guys for all your information and insight, I definitely believe It was because of you all that I made it. I passed my polygraph test, did y’all have to take one?? And then have my psych evaluation at the end of the month. Exciting stuff! Anyways it was just happenstance that I’ve been looking at Kuranda beds for my Berner pup Jasper and now you guys are sponsored by them and have this giveaway, way to go!! Keep on being awesome guys!
-
JamiedelorsHumane-maneLet me start off by saying that I have nothing to do with animal control or law enforcement, that being said, I do have two dogs so that’s something, right? As a listener from day one, I was trying to support my friend, Officer Hildy, but quickly became hooked. I love being able to see (hear) the evolution of the show, getting to know the guys better, and honestly just learning things I wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to learn in my day to day environment. I genuinely enjoy listening to and laughing with you guys. Keep killin’ it. #humanemane #kuranda #pawcast -Jamie

Till Death55Awesome showACO Menant here and I listen faithful to the Humane Roundup. Every Friday I tune in to get good laughs and to hear what’s happing in the Animal Control world. The show helps me get threw cleaning the kennels before I get on the streets and work my calls. I learn a lot about how other ACO’s handle their business and try to Implement some of their ideas here in Louisiana. Glad we finally have a show that talks about the job and what we go through on a daily bases. Keep up the great work guys! #Kuranda
-
Jazzy SalterI love these guys more than my favorite boy band!Friends.... I have got to tell you... This podcast has to be my favorite podcasts to listen to on my Fridays at work! I always find myself cracking up in the truck on my way to calls haha. As an animal protection officer, I value the work that these four guys put into the podcast and in the field itself. They are funny, relatable and have a lot of experience in the animal welfare industry. I always learn something new.... Sometimes we even get an extra bonus too like hearing Ocho’s beautiful singing voice! You’ve got to listen! I promise you won’t regret it:)

HildyImagesGreat Podcast For Animal PeopleThis is a great podcast for anyone in the animal welfare industry.

emloregonSupport from an Oregon ACOGreat! Love hearing from other animal control officers. What additional training courses have you guys completed? NACA/Code 3 certified? How does your department managers feel about your podcasts/YouTube activity? Look forward to following you. Already a Ofc. Paw Patrol follower. - Thank you

LaurensmomaFeedbackFinally a show that all of us in the Animal Welfare field can benefit from. I can tell all of you are bonding and having fun. My main feedback is for Officer Hilde, I would suggest you join in the conversation a bit more. When you jump in it sounds nervous like you are reading something and when you are introducing someone it sounds like you are reading and afraid to mess up. Don’t worry, your cohosts have your back and you’ve got this!
