Excellent show content. But it seems unprofessional and can be annoying to listeners when you constantly mangle pronunciations. You can Google most words to hear them pronounced properly. If it’s a name and you’re having a problem, check video and see how news anchors are pronouncing the city or the person or other name involved in the story.

I listen to several podcasts daily while driving etc. This podcast is my first pod every morning. I love how A.G. and D.G. give us the news with swearing and finish off with the good news. No other pod I listen to encourages a listener to feel so connected to a community. Love these ladies and this positive community!

I used to think you guys were kind of out there. Now you’re the only ones who are saying. My beloved mainstream media ““ has gone nuts.

Wishcasting, now with a side of Bidencultism. This formerly 5 star news aggregation podcast has devolved in recent months: Five to seven opening minutes of blather about what I did last weekend? Check. “Hilarious” mispronunciation of basic names? Check. Endless reminders of how many important people I talk to? Check. Relentless focus on State Representative Nobody’s petty crimes? Check. Desperate whistling past the graveyard, with a heaping helping of identity politics? Check. Rage that anyone DARE to criticize Joe Biden in any capacity? Check. I unsubscribed.

Are we going to find out that Alex was framed as retribution for his comedy?

Lately the host has been railing against “the media” because she’s mad they’re covering the Biden story. And they have overdone in some cases, but there also is a legitimate story to cover even if she doesn’t want to hear it. His age and flubs will continue to be a story thru the election because the right will make it so. So better we be honest and upfront and address it rather than try to hide that there’s an issue or pretend it isn’t so. That’s how you bleed credibility with the voters Biden needs to convince. She’d be a better advocate for Biden with those voters if she leveled with them. But they aren’t her audience anyway, probably. She’s playing to people who will vote Democrat no matter what. But her rage against the media is odd and ironic because despite calling herself “independent media,” she doesn’t do actual reporting. She just aggregates and reads excerpts of articles she gets from the very media she rails against. Her whole business model for this particular podcast is in fact pretty darn dependent on the main stream media.

Biden is the only choice. We know this. We are voting for him. But the way you’re glossing over is lapses in cognition is irresponsible. Heading over to Pod Save America so I can get a handle on how the campaign can recover from this. Your complete lack of attention to this makes me so uncomfortable. Weather you think he’s got all his marbles or not you have to address the fact that his party is losing faith and you’re treating it like a joke.

Check out her feed on twitter. She’s essentially blue MAGA. Lots of other quality political podcasts out there that aren’t in a cult of personality. Listen to a few episodes and you’ll see.

Absolutely love the show, it is, by far, the best news podcast out there and ends with listener submitted good news so that you never go out on a down note. That said…the ads have ballooned in size with AG advertising seemingly 80% of the shows on her network now. It feels like up to a quarter of the episode length now is just an extended ad.

The discussion about the presidential debate gave the impression the hosts were unfamiliar with the concept — done for decades — of an open Democratic convention. (No, no longer the proverbial smoke-filled room.) Once they learn more about the matter (and most likely dislike the idea!) — I suggest one of Ezra Klein’s podcasts on the subject — they should understand there are more options than ONLY voting for Biden or Trump.

Update 6/24/24- just, goosebumps. This is my favorite political podcast. I look forward to listening every day. I’m a catholic unhappy with the bishops for crapping on Biden(likely a better catholic than half of them), a suburban mom with a horse farm in trump country and I’ve been a swing voter for 37 years and can’t be your only one. I hear my kind being mentioned all the time on various shows but never quite feel they know me or my motivations. No complaints about today’s guest. I can’t stand the wife but really like George. Lots of nice, intelligent people find themselves married to fruitcakes. I admire his ability to hang in there and I admire you for keeping things real. We need to support everyone who is willing and able to speak out against the authoritarian posers currently wrecking our democracy. Keep up the good work! Peace.

Appreciate the hot takes, spicy coverage, thoughtful interviews, and loyal listeners. Solid sources and journalism. Maybe a little more progressive than I am but enjoy being challenged. Also really appreciate AG and DG’s humility and growth mindset.

This is a great show for extremely progressive listeners, less so for anyone else. I support everyone’s first amendment right to voice their views, especially on their own podcast. With that said, perhaps the hosts should change their tagline: “vote blue over Q, and take everyone with you” by removing the part about taking everyone with you. You lost a socially liberal but moderate leaning Democrat, who used to listen. I cannot imagine this show appealing to anyone with even more moderate views, which likely includes the get-able voters in purple swing states. I applaud the hosts for creating a humorous podcast to entertain listeners who share their views (I’m sure they have legions of likeminded, avid fans). However, listeners with even slightly different views would probably enjoy another podcast.

Alison don’t hesitate to speak from your heart, that’s why we love you and respect your work! Standing up and speaking out against the slaughter of innocent people in Gaza is the right place to be. Respecting the innocent and grieving people of Israel is also the right place to be. We support you.

What is the percentage of women who have abortions because it is a life-saving medical procedure? What is the percentage of women who have abortions because they make a personal decision not to bring a child into this world? Why is the media obsessed with arguments that address the former? Why does the vast majority of the media ignore arguments supporting the latter, i.e. that most women in this country do not live according to Christian doctrine, or simply don’t believe in God? A person’s religious FREEDOM is guaranteed in our Constitution and is the real conversation here. A believe in a specifically Christian God, or not, is not the elephant in the room here-it IS THE ROOM. Let’s start talking about the real issues here.
