I love this podcast and also enjoy watching Sydney on YouTube. It’s so cool to see how people travel and work remotely. I want to do Van Life and Sydney is a great resource.

I started listening to this podcast after my friend decided to live in a van and travel around the U.S., and listening to Sydney’s experience has made me feel way more informed and comfortable with the idea of my friend traveling around by herself. Sydney is a kind, knowledgeable, and entertaining host, and I love that she really gets into the nitty-gritty of van life while also going over a variety of different topics too. Even though I have no interest in doing van life myself, I’m looking forward to following Sydney’s journey as she continues traveling and podcasting.

I love Sydney!! (Also peral & Ella duh) I love following her adventures!!!❣️so real, raw and honest! If you love her insta story. You’re gonna love this so much more! It’s so much more personal! We love a solo independent queen who is finding herself!!! And now Henry and Finn have joined the pack (but Sydney is still an independent strong woman who found love in someone who brings out more of her warm soul) and I love it!

I’ve listened to every episode for more than a year. Syndey has really help us navigate many aspects of van travel / living. The episodes are always interesting & easy to listen to. I know it’s still “new” and understandably exciting, but the last couple episodes with Henry talking about the relationship is not my favorite. I’m very happy she’s in a what seems to be a healthy & loving relationship, But the on air “gushing” I getting a little much for me. I’ll still listen, just my input. ❤️

Sydney is a great podcast host and she does an amazing job providing details into van life and answering every and all questions that I had. If you’re interested is learning about van life, this is the podcast to listen to. After listening to this podcast, I feel both confident and inspired to do van life. Definitely a go to.

Not only is Sydney super relatable but she’s real. She has very genuine conversations with her friends, family, and relationships. She covers all aspects of her and her peers lives. She covers religion, spirituality, travel, feeling stuck, feeling alone, getting out of comfort zones, bettering your life, chasing your passions, and most importantly DOGS. I always hear at least one thing if not more in each podcast that makes self reflect. Anyone focused on living their best life should really listen to this podcast.

I am a traveling nurse and probably will never live in a van but love listening to Sydney’s traveling tips and experiences! She is so real and doesn’t just talk about van life only. I always listen to new episodes immediately! The people she chooses to interview are amazing as well!

Sydney is the real deal - living her best life out there on the road and inspiring us all along the way. If you’ve ever been interested in van life, this podcast is a down to earth and honest glimpse into this lifestyle.

A few weeks ago I searched “van life” in the podcast search bar and this podcast popped up. I listened to the a episode and thought “Wow this girl has absolutely NO filter, I love her. Now I am almost done binge listening to this podcast, and follow her on all social platforms now. If you’re looking to get into van life she is so honest, real, raw and funny! Plus she has dogs 😍 She does a great job at answering all your questions that you may have had or that you’ve never thought of. One of my favorite episodes is the steps to van life, which we are now applying it to our lives. The wife and I plan to hit road very soon and she has given so much light into things that we need to know. Make sure to check this podcast out...you will NOT regret it one bit.

First few episodes were a bit rocky and weird. However the more episodes I listened to the more addicting and inspiring the podcasts became, mostly because Sydney found her footing, slowed down a little, and had a consistency to her episodes that is enjoyable to listen to. I usually like podcasts with some structure, but with one or two takes and My Solo Road eventually developed structure, and then there’s a random episode with no structure, where the guy keeps interrupting Sydney and contradicting her. I love the one with her parents and how she started van life. I also enjoyed the 10 steps to van life. I would like to see more ‘how tos’ from her. I do like the interviews , but sometimes it keeps so off topic I get slightly bored and stop listening. 4.5 stars— really like it , but not perfect

I love how real this podcast is and it’s an easy listen. It’s very relatable; especially being a Midwest girl myself. I almost feel like I’m sitting and hanging out with Sydney having a glass of wine or cup of coffee. Hope to see more episodes especially on the national parks!

I am in absolute awe of this young woman and her ability to tell her stories. Plus, she is a dog lover. I’m trying not to binge listen to every story but it’s that good.

Sydney has made the ultimate guide to solo travel, she’s de-bunked myths and stigmas, and advocated for the actual experience. Ep. 6 has me convinced there is no other podcast like this. I discovered this podcast a few months ago when I was on a road trip to weekend camp by myself with my dog. This podcast contains all the things that I love. People who love nature and being outside, van life, dogs, mental health discussions, and coffee! I’m obsessed and have been going back to catch up and soak it all in!

I cracked up when you mentioned Maine int his episode! I live in Maine after growing up in New Jersey and it is beautiful!! There are so many good hikes near the ocean. You should go to Acadia National Park it is stunning!

We are full time RV’ers and I love this podcast. Sydney is down to earth and I enjoy how organic her podcast is! I’ve listened to every episode (some episodes more than once) and they just keep getting better. I appreciate the normalization of taking care of our mental health as well.

I am currently nowhere near capable of van life (I’m about to start my freshman year of college) but Sydney’s podcast lets me dream while also gathering knowledge so I can prepare for a nomadic lifestyle. Sydney is very realistic and also has a “normal” background, making her relatable. She isn’t afraid to talk about more sensitive issues such as mental health and bullies on social media, which is very refreshing. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone, even if you don’t have any interest in living in a van.

It’s so nice to hear about an “alternative lifestyle” like van life from the perspective of someone with their head screwed on right! I’ve just listened to several episodes and it’s clear Sydney leads with her heart and has a very approachable, genuine communication style that I have thoroughly connected to. Not sure how I came across this podcast, but when I did it couldn’t have been more perfect. I was in the beginning steps of making some major life changes due to things out of my control and this gave me some extra confidence and knowledge in my decision to get away from the norm finally! Now I swear I check several times a week to see if I missed a new podcast.

I love listening to Sydney’s podcasts. I can’t remember how I first found My Solo Road, but within a week of binging the past episodes I was hooked. My #vanlife has moved past dreams and is now in the goal stage!
