TrouzyWell worth the ListenI listen to Mariners content to stay in touch/updated with the team. Ty and Colby are a fantastic duo. I agree with some takes and disagree with others, but the discourse is top notch.

dirtylebsYikesI’m afraid to say this is one sad sack of a podcast. I kinda feel for Ty who has to sit through the deranged rants of Colby and just take it, but he also gives some serious enabler vibes and I think nobody is innocent here. Seriously man, I really don’t mind some negativity, I mean we’re all mariners fans for god’s sake, but this is beyond negative. It is like pure fiery hatred with a taste of bad humor mixed in at its best, and at its worst completely devoid of any comedic relief and just all darkness. Even I can’t handle that. Have to update because I think Colby has made a genuine effort to improve his mood and give better vibes. He’s still a know-it-all and annoyingly contrarian about everything, but he doesn’t just flat out blast the mariners every second of the pod, and even has been giving positive spins and perspectives now and then.

BFarris12Innocent Until Proven GuiltyUsed to enjoy the show. But with the two hosts who apparently don’t believe people not convicted of anything can still be guilty even after it comes out the accuser made false reports and has since been charged. I can no longer support this podcast.

SeahawksareontopThis is good and I have a trade for Bo and vladdyGo Mariners, We can get Bo vladdy jr and Conner O’Halloran for Luis Castillo Jorge Polanco and Ty France

CougfanJohnI Look forward to their Mariner TakesI find Ty and Colby having great teamwork and chemistry as they give their honest takes on all things Ms. They add lots of flavor with what’s going on with the players and the team as they truly understand talent and baseball without the fluff. I share these podcasts with my Mariner friends. There is a big difference between ranting and flavor. These guys have flavor that is blue, white, and gold. Too often people with knowledge get labeled with being arrogant in the world. This is the case with Colby. Colby makes fans think with his perspectives. But that is how we grow. That is a wonderful thing baseball fans. Thank you both for your love of the game and for your loyalty to the Ms. I’m really looking forward to this season and listening to the podcasts.⚾️🌎🙋🏻♂️ John P👍🏼

MtnbozoA daily stapleHaven’t missed a show since I started listening in the 2022 offseason. Ty and Colby are fun and honest and I have a lot of respect for the thought they put into their takes. Go M’s!

ronniedweedMy first review of the show.I have been listening to the show for a long time. I enjoy listening while at work. I want to give what I think is a fair assessment of how I’ve experienced the show. Ty is a very entertaining person to listen to. I think he has great seaways and has a nice flow. He also does a great job balancing the enthusiasm for the team, and critical of them when it’s appropriate. Overall, I give him a solid A as a podcast host. Colby…. It’s no secret that he has a very smug and sarcastic personality. It seems to wear thin on many listeners (myself included.) To me, he seems like someone who’s very insecure and masks this by putting others down. I do think he is very fair on his evaluations of trades, signings, and other team related topics. Colby is just incredibly arrogant. For that, I would have to give him a B. The show flows really well. Ty and Colby have a unique dynamic that makes the show usually fun to listen to. They have a large following for a reason. I would give the show an A- overall. Very solid and probably the best one for more analytical baseball and Mariners fans. Thanks, Graham

SugarSugarSugar!Informative and EntertainingReally enjoyable podcast. Two guys with good chemistry who love the Mariners. Colby is like your crusty old Grandpa who wins big on a scratch-off lottery ticket and then complains loudly about the scratched off debris underneath his fingernails. However, you still love him in the end because he gives you licorice. His knowledge of baseball stats and the Mariners farm system players is commendable. Just wish he was a little more respectful of fans who disagree with him. Ty is naturally more positive than his cranky friend and his enthusiasm of the M’s is apparent. Every once in a while he goes on a rant, probably to maintain street cred with Colby, but I find it somewhat endearing as it is clear his heart isn’t in it. Reminds me of a lap dog growling at a big dog through the fence. I really enjoy Ty’s reasoned take on things and think he interviews guests really Not sure his emotions won’t do him in this post season, though. Overall I look forward to listening to Locked On every day and am always entertained by their opinions.

cdayley5691Great showAlways good content on the Mariners
-
Casual daily news listenerAlways EnjoyGreat Mariners podcast that covers news as well as has some fun regular segments. I appreciate the banter and that while the hosts definitely speak their mind on negative aspects of ownership and when the team plays poorly they don’t dwell in the negative. And the last minute post win shows when Ty’s had a few beverages are always the best!

Mr. Intrrnational49Locked on is locked inThe info and timely updates are tremendous. I wish the audio was better

Mr. TiredIt’s…FineThis is a good Mariners-themed podcast, but…Get ready for a lot of deep diving into sabermetrics-related data and negativity toward a lot of Mariners players that is more than necessary. If you like the stat/term WRC+, you’re going to like this podcast. You can make a game out of taking a drink every time these guys say “WRC+” and you’ll be plastered within 15 minutes of the start of the show.
-
hbce967UghI literally only listen cause they put out so many episodes and it’s nice to listen to M’s content during the season driving to/from work. But sheesh. You’d think the mariners went 0-162 if you listened and never checked the score. It doesn’t need to be all sunshine and rainbows (we’re all mariners fans here after all), but do these hosts even enjoy watching baseball or their jobs? And figure out how to argue. Two people unwilling to see the point the other is making makes for great content (sarcasm font)

the teej meisterTerribleThis podcast is so hard to listen to. Negative negative negative. I’ve been a mariners fan since I was kid growing up in the 80’s/90’s and I’ve suffered through the 2000’s like the rest of us. I get being down on this team, but holy crap. The negativity never ends. And they’re just mean and obnoxious to each other. They’re buddies. They give each other crap. Ok I get it. But they just come across as rude and it’s hard to listen to. They also just repeat themselves the entire show. I hear them say the same thing 15 times in a row. I listen for regular content on the mariners, and they know the team and know what they’re talking about, but they make it so hard to listen to. The whole feel of the podcast is so unprofessional and amateurish. Not impressed at all. I listen to locked on Seahawks fairly regularly and don’t totally love the hosts there, but that show is put together so much more professionally and has so much more polish.
-
jakemundtGood showGood show, timely uploads. Usually good insight into the team. Only issue is the one guy’s random aggressive rants… could do without that.
-
cp83PainfulI try to be a daily listener, for the most part I am- but I must admit, I haven’t gotten through more than half of the episodes that I’ve started. Being a fan of a team is something that we do for fun. Sports are supposed to be for fun. I speak for a lot of people, that sports podcasts should be an extension of that fun, the connecting with other fans, your team, etc… The hosts of LOM are super knowledgeable guys; they know their stuff- league wide, and that I appreciate. However, doesn’t having a podcast about a team where the hosts (mostly the co-host) just complain about EVERYTHING about the team. I’m convinced that the Mariners could win the World Series, and these guys would complain that it wasn’t a sweep. Seriously, this show should be marketed to rival teams. Their fanbases would enjoy the non-stop complaining. So; hosts; please, I beg you- ask yourselves, why do you host a mariners podcast? Do you like the Mariners? Do you want to wallow in complaining and whining? Or do you want to nurture and grow positivity and optimism, because after all, don’t we have it hard enough?!
-
Mariners AficionadoWho is this Colby guy?I don’t need a podcast that is all sunshine and rainbows regarding the Mariners. However, the guy named Colby on this podcast could not be more condescending and lifeless. He was slamming the Baseball Writers of America for being arrogant and no nothings as he is literally acting the exact same way. I love the Mariners but I won’t listen to this podcast again and this guy on it. if I want a surly jack wagon to listen to, I will hit up a Yankees podcast.
-
BillyLovesPodcasts01Needlessly adversarialThis show’s selling point is its frequency of episode releases. Unfortunately, the hosts seem to think that the root of podcast quality is conflict. In search of such things, they bicker about mundane nonsense using inaccurate idioms, mixed metaphors, and tired clichés. They then argue about whether they are arguing. Don’t reward the producers of this show with your downloads. The world needs less of this empty air whose only upside is that it passes time toward rigor mortis.
-
Tubaguy32478Lots of content and knowledge. Lacking polish.PRO: They put out a ton of content. Episodes released almost daily. PRO: Ty and Colby are knowledgeable hosts. They are analytically-minded and have a deep familiarity with players across the league and in the Ms farm system. I’ve learned a ton about the Ms and baseball in general from listening to these guys. CON: Low production quality. Certainly not a deal breaker for many listeners. It’s quite clear Ty and Colby are new to podcasting. The show doesn’t have the polish that many other pods do. Many episodes have technical issues. CON: Chemistry and pacing. I like Ty and Colby, but they have weird chemistry at times. Colby has a pretty aggressive/sarcastic/negative demeanor and he spends a lot of time unnecessarily bashing people (including his cohost). Episodes are often full of rambling and awkward moments.
-
tmonkeypunchColby makes it...Hard to enjoy the podcast. He comes off stubborn and unbending, and downright rude when he comes across a different opinion. I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, but there's a way to go about it, and this ain't it.
-
kinoababoaGreat podcastBut Colby is too negative
-
GT4mannyI really enjoy the show BUT.Colby is incredibly negative, I understand he enjoys being a realist about things but the consistent negativity about players is just too much. Ty gives good feedback and their dynamic seems to kind of work but I unfortunately will not continue to listen because when I choose to listen to a podcast I don’t want to hear the host insult players the way he does calling them “complete garbage” seems unnecessary. Especially when it’s about mariners players. I understand if a player isn’t performing well but cmon man, I’d really like to see you play in the majors.
-
GirthyTwinkGo Mawiners!Colby is a total hater, Ty’s the man. What a beautiful relationship!!
-
Claore TumanBest Seattle Podcast Out There! These guys really know their stuff! Informative and entertaining to listen to. I would recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in sports! Spread the word now, this pod will just keep growing.
-
infinitesuccessJSDH SleeperWhite Sox UT/DH JakeBerger is showing good signs of performing to his 2017 Draft, #11 overall pedigree. Very impressive underlying metrics to his game going up another notch. Possible trade target for the “sleeper DH”?
-
cinnamonsugar:)Great PodcastColby and Ty are great hosts who are clearly very knowledgeable about baseball and are definitely true Ms fans. Keep up the great work!
-
425MarinerDecent QualityPod provides some quality of perspective towards the Mariners. The delivery from both are lacking along with the ‘wet blanket’ perspectives makes it challenging to listen.
-
partlysunny1Candid and engagingColby speaks the uncomfortable truth about Ken Griffey….
-
1223334444Solid podThese guys both know their Mariners baseball, zero denying that. Overall knowledge of the farm system and MLB in general is impressive. Ty - are the 3 minute intros reciting the exact same (what feels like) 5 paragraphs really necessary everyday? Colby - you are pretty funny, I understand your style of throwing jabs and shooting down Ty’s comments and ideas but sometimes it just comes off as flat out rude and tough to listen to. Just cheer up a bit man, not saying you need to be Mr. Optimistic 24/7 but cmon my guy. Will continue to listen, love this team and mostly enjoy the pod with a couple improvements thanks fellas.

ChauntryGreat show for Ms fanThis show has really grown on me. Super knowledgeable and great insight. Keep it up fellas!
-
Langston BAmazingThese guys have great voices and this podcast is incredibly wonderful and I love their opinions.
-
DrKoobThese guys get itBeen listening since Spring 22 and these guys get baseball and the Mariners. Great ride through the entire season. Sometimes I wish they would go back and take a look at things they have said in the past and fess up to some of their predictions that did not come true but otherwise, they do a great show. I would appreciate more consistency. Especially during the season. I get not doing shows on weekends but on Sunday after two or even three big wins, I want to hear them talk about them. I am loving the off season stuff, especially the mailbag and the trades on Fridays. Keep up the great work.
-
Paulyc1186Hard to listenI am a very realistic fan. I’m not a rosy-glasses kinda guy but, man, I can’t listen to someone so pessimistic. This is the first season in 21 years that we have made it to the playoffs and after our first loss in five game all Kolby has to say is how we are doomed and there’s no chance that we will rebound and be competitive in the series. I’m not saying you can’t be critical. I equally get frustrated with fans who only look at the positive but the negative outlook is just too much for me to listen to. I am unfollowing the podcast but I wanted you to know why so you could maybe improve on your outlook.

SubspeckLong distance Mariner.Colby, I gave it my best shot. I recently moved to TN from WA and was listening to your podcast on a nightly basis to keep up with the latest re: my Mariners. Night after night I was subjected to your monotone delivery and your snippy, juvenile comments. Contrary to what you might think, you are not the smartest person in the room (podcast). I just can’t listen to you any longer. Thankfully I’ve found another Podcast to keep me updated on my Mariners. Too bad Ty doesn’t have a broadcast partner that can keep up with his energetic and insightful commentary. Regards, Speck
-
CDiFrEasily the best Ms pod aroundThe best ability is availability. The fact that this pod updates nearly every day during an every day baseball season is vital. To me, at least. Ty and Colby have great chemistry but Colby needs to show a little more charisma sometimes. During many shows he sometimes sounds completely disinterested. Nonetheless, I love them both. Keep it up!
-
DustsupGreat Mariners analysisThese guys are legit and know their stuff. Must listen if you an M’a fan.
-
Truecrime BingerI’m enjoying the podcast butIt’s time to get over the trade deadline . The last two episodes have been very negative. They are still in a great position. The last two games with the Yankees were great momentum
-
1🍕Good show but…Colby so negative(the mariners won 14 in a row and he still has so many bad things to say.) and his sound issues is annoying
-
MoshodmColby ruins it for meLooks like I’m not the only one but man, Colby is so arrogant and hard to listen to. Gave them a try but I end up more annoyed by the end of each listen than I do informed or entertained. The Castillo trade reaction was the final straw and I unfollowed. There is a way to inform or correct perceptions without alienating your listeners. If that changes maybe I’ll come back.
-
Adam Ware, SeattleColby, please fix your audioGuys, love the pod. Really appreciate the daily insight and perspective. Colby, will you please work on fixing your audio? Ty sounds good, but when Colby comes in his sound is always choppy and his levels are too low. It’s particularly bad on the July 15 pod, but it’s a problem almost every day. It may seem like a small thing but if you guys are going to be pros you’ve got to have high quality audio. Thanks.
-
SparklingaliciaGreat show!Love the show! Great daily M’s podcast. But definitely wish the sound quality was better. The constant breaking up of the second guy who talks is really terrible. Maybe get a better internet signal or mic?!
-
PartyHeartyMartyColby’s negativity and…… attitude can be so exhausting. Every word out of his mouth has this edge, or glass half empty vibe that make listening a chore. Also, Ty “Frankly” Gonzalez has been just as annoying as of late. Guys, why does everything have to have this smug edge? Like why???? Baseball should be fun.
-
caaj21Good showAwesome coverage of the mariners, the one gentleman needs to fix his computer or microphone, seems to be continual issues with it every episode.
-
Monk127Love you guys, butCan you both stop making that noise you always make. Don’t know how to spell it. Something like, ehhhewww…. Just stop with that.
-
Ahurst81Quality, daily contentTy and Colby are knowledgeable and bring a sharp, critical perspective to Mariners coverage.
