Midsommar episode was great! All the episodes are great! I’ve been listening since the HMP days. A staple in my listening library!

I’m a fairly new listener to podcasts in general but I went back through the archives and listened to every episode of this one. Now I’m just waiting semi patiently for new episodes every couple of weeks.

I’ve been a fan of this podcast for years now and it just keeps delivering the goods. The always present Jay of the Dead is the master of ceremonies with a mechanical heart of gold. Mister Watson dives deep into each film as if it were a bottle of fine whiskey. The lovely Projectile Varmint shoots straight from the hip and throws in a little deadpan wit. If you’re a horror film buff, get your life and get in on the action.

Love it. Love the new hosts that joined you jay. And sweet madman song.

Left the show last year and then came back because of a review I wanted to hear. Love love love the new atmosphere with the new cohosts. I’ve always loved Jason and his hosting of the show. Even when he’s not laughing he talks like he is smiling which puts out a wonderful vibe. I love how everyone is respectful of each other‘s opinions with no attitude of disagreement. Yes you each have your own opinions which can differ from one another but you don’t give off an impression of condescension. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to have a definite segment for spoilers specifically. I would love to hear more in-depth commentary on the movie. But aside from that everything is great!

Really enjoying the podcast. Jay of the Dead is the man and I really like the new hosts. They bring up a whole lot of good points in their reviews and for the most part I can relate to their individual ratings. Keep up the good work guys. Love what you are putting out!

Jay has always been a solid host but I find Watson to be pretentious and while Channy is delightful her constant use of the word “like” really gets like under my skin (this is a problem I have with any podcaster who does this).

And he’s brought 2 awesome voices with him! I just discovered this podcast and let me say, it’s amazing! Jay, I missed that giggle, and selfishly this makes me happy to see you on a separate podcast I can listen to. I’ve tried several other horror podcasts and just can’t get into them. I started with HMP, still love that one, and now I have a second one to subscribe to! Welcome back! There’s hardly any horror podcasts with a female perspective (I guess there are fewer women who love horror?) so I really appreciate that you are joined by Lady Phantom. Every woman is not alike, of course, but it’s nice be represented. Last but not least BillChette is awesome, I loved every episode of HMP that BillChete joined and I’m really happy to hear him again here. If all of y’all agreed on every movie, it would be so boring. Nothing makes me happier than hearing Jay rave about one, and then Bill or Lady Phantom come in and just blast it. I almost always agree with one of you, and it’s not the same person every time! Thank you for coming back and creating this podcast, I love hearing all 3 of you. Y’all take care of yourselves! Now on to binge some episodes!

This is a fun Podcast. Lots of interesting banter and good natured arguing. Keep the battles rolling.

I do enjoy this podcast... when there are no debates on the horror merits. Either have debates on movies that are horror or choose movies that are evidently horror, the 10-20 minutes of horror debate prove the movie is not horror. Let us get back to old fashioned slash and blood horror reviews.

I had left a negative review. But still I continued to listen and my opinion has changed. Then I wondered... why am I still listening to this when I said I hate it? The answer is I don’t. This is a very entertaining podcast to listen to. Are the hosts overly critical of some movies... sure. But it’s not about what they think of movies. It’s about enjoying the banter between them. It’s about enjoying hearing them talk about movies. I for one will keep listening.

Anything Jay of the Dead does will always be 5⭐️ from me. He has a great personality and debates respectfully. I miss him on HMP and I’m hoping he brings Doc on for an ep as a guest. My only complaint is Bill Chete. He does not seem to recognize the difference between a debate and being rude and disparaging. It’s often hard for me to listen when he goes on a rant and behaves like a bully.

It’s great to hear everybody disagree and still like each other at the end of the episode. Everybody is likable in their own way and they all have insightful opinions even when you’re shouting into your phone at one of them because you disagree. The beauty of 3 hosts is that you usually agree with one of them, and you still get to hear the opposing views. I look forward to more episodes!

Great to hear Jay of the Dead’s voice again even though it’s a quick fix.

I almost gave less then 5 stars, but based just on my excitement at having Jay of the Dead back and discussing horror movies as he should be, I couldn’t resist. The missing star would have been for the presence of the “Billchette” guy who is hard to put up with, but to each is own. The movies they discuss are recent and always interesting. For those fans of HMP this at least gives you that dose of Jay of the Dead that you’ve been missing. It’s not classic HMP, but it’s the closest thing we’ve got and I’m all for that. By the way, The Taking of Deborah Logan is on Shudder so let’s get some found footage on the docket. Long live those who are serious about horror!

Nice to have the dulcet tones of jay of the dead back on the airwaves (or earbuds). Although I rarely agree with his reviews, the other two hosts provide a nice balance, and his views are always interesting. Now hurry up and get your black belt and come back to horror movie podcast

I always love hearing anything from Jay of the Dead, he brings such a warm, welcoming presence to any podcast he’s a part of. Lady Phantom and Bill Chete also bring a lot of great insight, although listening to them argue with and gang up on Jay nearly every episode gets a little old. But on the other side of the token, I guess that’s what makes it entertaining. Keep up the great work!

Jay is a great podcaster in general, and this short form review format is fantastic. They cover awesome movies and I find myself agreeing with Jay more often than Bill or Lady, but I always enjoy everyones’ differing view. Great listen!

If you’re a fan of horror movies, this podcast is worth checking out! The three hosts often disagree, which leads to both entertaining arguments and enlightening discussions on modern horror movies.

Jay is back and the short form format has a lot of potential. The selection of movies reviewed is excellent. I hope that Jay pursues this format. However, while I give it 5 stars for concept, for me the enjoyment factor tanks with the extreme contrary commentary from the other two host. The two other hosts, particularly Bill, are knowledgeable, yet for me, Lady Phantom parrots Bill’s view too often. I appreciate the work done here but I think if you enjoy more conflict in your discussions, you will like this more than I do. Lady Phantom is the editor, I think and the show is well edited. It’s a quick listen, If you’re a horror fan, I encourage you to listen to an episode and make up your own mind.

Jay of the Dead is just an outstanding host and with longtime fellow podcasters Bill and Lady Phantom, covering recent horror movies over the past 5 years, you have a very special podcast that is thougtful and entertaining. It's a great thing to have on a weekly basis and I am grateful. Well done! Keep up the great work!

I’m not very good at writing reviews for the things I like. So I’m going to say that if you like quality podcasting about movies then look no further. You can’t go wrong!

Jay is great. I don’t like how Bill dismissed Pastor Matt’s challenge regarding a Jason film. He was pretentious with his I’m a professional critic stance. I wagerPastor Matt has better credentials to be a critic than Bill.

Excellent horror movie reviews by veteran horror movie critics! Love it! I don’t know if Bill and Jay will ever agree on a film...but I guess that adds to the fun!

I often strongly disagree with Lady Phantom and Bill but I would listen to Jay talk about any horror movie, even “Alien: Resurrection”! Will listen to every show.

I love this podcast, I followed Jason from his time on Horror Movie Podcast, I have listened to Lady Phantom and Billchete from last episodes and social media.
