    Wonderful companion
I love my Full Focus Planner, and how much it’s helped me make time for what’s important. But what makes it truly indispensable is the community that it makes me a part of — of which the Focus on This podcast is the foundation. Ken and Marisa have such fantastic energy, warmth, and guidance, but what really sets them apart is how inclusive and non-judgmental they are. They aren’t gurus preaching “The” way. They are just kind people sharing their journeys. Nick is also such a great producer. He keeps the show tight and engaging, and is funny and sweet whenever he joins the show himself. My wife and I listen separately to the show, and then talk about it a lot, and it’s actually brought us closer together. Is this too much sharing for a podcast review? It’s too late. You can’t unread it. To make a short story long: this is a beautiful show and I can’t recommend it enough.

Always ready for a new episode
This podcast is my favorite part of Mondays. Each episode is my weekly time to get grounded in what really matters to me.

    Ok, but nothing new
Some useful info, but a lot of repeated stuff. Also, too much banter and chit chat. Would enjoy some new ideas and content instead of recycling the same stuff over and over.

    New Hosts
Get to the content faster. Too much banter and empty attempts to be funny. Been a Full Focus subscriber since the first version. Love Michael Hyatt. I’m not trying to be mean. But rather, trying to help. Get to the content. Our time is valuable. I’m also a certified pro and a raving fan but this is difficult to listen to. Also, the host names are wrong in the info. Needs updated.

    Love this podcast!
My main 2024 goal that I’ve already started is to become more productive in less time, stop procrastinating and really learn how to master being laser focus on everything I do. This is exactly what I needed to help me get to that goal. I’ve just written out my 2024 annual goals and I would love to have someone from your team critic them for me 🙏

    Getting to the point
This podcast is back into my weekly rotation again. Instead of being full of useless banter that takes up well over half the show, the new hosts get to the content right away. So much better than it used to be.

The most frustrating podcast on the Internet
I have tried many times to listen to your podcast, and it is extremely frustrating. You have great nuggets of content and wisdom, however, it is so hard to actually get to the point. For example, you recently recorded a podcast with listener questions, and I was very interested in hearing your take on the answers so I could learn in this case I had to forward the podcast nearly 6 minutes to get to the first question because of all the useless, noisy banter, and then it happened all over again. You all have great perspective and good advice, but it is the most frustrating. Listen to get to it. Every time I try and give this podcast another chance I end up leaving before it’s over because of that.

Rambling talk (total opposite of title) and doesn’t deliver on content
This was my first listen and out of a 20 minute episode, it took 10 min to get to the point of the episode, and literally only 1 point was given. The episode was about a not to do list- they gave one tip and then verged to finding peace of mind, a bird app, using air tags, and not to mention how one host used to work for a baseball team. Going to unfollow after 1 episode, super disappointed

    Dream team full of wisdom!
Courtney, Verbs, and Blake are a dream team that are full of wisdom! If I am feeling in a slump, listening to one episode of theirs helps get me out of my funk!

    Great show, less ads please
I love this show and am excited to listen every Monday and continue to catch up on old ones 😂 I don’t think the same three ads are needed in a <30 minute podcast. It gets pretty redundant hearing that especially when trying to listen to the podcast in a tight time frame.

    Witty and Wise
I absolutely love listening to this podcast! It helps motivate me to use my FFP in different and unique ways. The witty banter by the hosts in their down to earth style makes me feel like they are close friends cheering me on. The podcast is full of wisdom in making productivity fun and manageable. Focus on This is five stars in my book.

The one podcast I consistently listen to
I used to change planners at least once a year and typically more often than that. I started with the full focus planner in 2019 and haven’t strayed since. This podcast is great. I enjoy listening to recommit to habits that I know serve me well. I really enjoy the hosts and genuinely love listening to this every Monday.

SAHM went from overwhelm to crushing it!
I really do love Mondays now! And it’s all because of this podcast and the Full Focus planner/system. We’re a homeschooling, ministry, and special needs family. We have a lot of plates spinning. I really don’t think I could juggle it all without the full focus system and the encouragement (and sometimes loving kick in the pants) this podcast provides. It’s one of the things I look forward to most in starting my week off right.

A great way to start your Monday
I’m relatively new to the Full Focus Planner but over the last few months, I’ve listened to every episode of the podcast while driving or exercising. While not every single suggestion works for me, I’ve gleaned at least one piece of advice I can implement from each episode. I especially appreciate the mindset topics. I love the banter between the hosts, as well as the interviews with users. If you’re new to the planner, I’d suggest starting with episode #1, vs. listening to the recent episodes first. It will give you a better understanding of the power of the FFP.

    Best Way to Start Monday!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for about 2 months and even if you don’t use the Full Focus Planner System (but you should!) there is a ton of valuable insight and practical advice to help anyone regardless of position or type of employment. The hosts are down-to-Earth and funny and bring a great energy to the conversation. Listen to this podcast each week and stop dreading Monday!

    Great little snippets
I love being able to listen to these podcasts while driving in my car. The hosts break down the info in a helpful and easily digestible manner so I never feel like I have to take notes. Each episode gives me new information on how to stay organized, track my progress, reach my goals and win at business.

    Love every episode
Getting ready in Monday mornings it’s always made better while listening to this podcast. It prompts me and makes me think how to make my week better every time. They are fun energy and down to earth topics make it enjoyable and not overwhelming.

A great balance of tips and breaths
I am an avid podcast listener and happened to come across this one. Catching up on past ones and for sure staying up to date on the current. It’s a great balance of tips/ feedback WITH personality. I was finding in so eager to learn, learn, learn but sometimes need to have that unwinding / fun and lighthearted conversations in order to be my best productive self. This podcast and the team bring that element I was missing. I find myself laughing, giving feedback out loud, taking notes as needed and sharing with others.

Used to be a must listen
I found early episodes incredibly helpful and full of nuggets and wisdom. Lately, it feels a little scattered (ironically) and I’m so busy following the back and forth convo that I’m missing the meat. I love their relationships and humorous banter— but not when the podcast “focus on this” does not seem to focus on the meat of productivity, meaningful planning, and tools to move forward on big picture goals. I agree with another review that mentioned putting time stamps for those who don’t wish to listen to all the extra conversation.
  • CRCPA
    Unfocused
Love the full focus planner and have been using for 4 years. This podcast has such potential, but the show is so unfocused, it’s not listenable. Please, please remove Courtney from the host ensemble. Verbs is great and does a good job reeling in all the high school level, shallow banter.

    Helpful but distracting
I really liked this show when I started listening in 2021. I found some really helpful gold nuggets of tips and tricks for managing my time and energy on a personal and professional level, and I actually started looking forward to Mondays! Unfortunately, the personal “unscripted” banter is driving me away as it’s extremely annoying and distracting. I listen to a lot of other podcasts on personal and business development and this podcast is the only one that I see is starting to resemble live morning talk radio. Here are a few respectful suggestions for the production team to consider: maybe just have one or two personal, super short anecdotes (1 min max)—additional anecdotes can be closer to business scenarios— the workout (peloton) goal stories have been overplayed at this point. Do you really need 4 to 5 minutes of intro before you get to the real introduction? Most of us skip through it. Do you really need 3 podcast hosts? I don’t understand why the producer needs to step in almost every episode. The most recent “dishwasher” episode sounded like it was an episode for Good Housekeeping, is this topic necessary for this audience? What if you go back to answering calls from users and the Facebook community? There’s some valuable gold nuggets there too.

    Rambling start
Five minutes into the podcast and they have yet to get started with relevant information. For a productivity podcast, I expect more respect for listeners time

    iTunes?? Verbs you funny!!
Love the podcast and the planner, guys. First year using it and It’s been a more productive year than last. Btw. Verbs saying iTunes made me lol. iTunes hasn't been a thing for several years now (2019 I think). Podcast live in a separate Apple podcast app. Just FYI.

    Energizing, Illuminating and Insightful! 👏 👏 👏
Regardless of where you are on your professional journey - this is a must listen! Verbs, Courtney, Blake and the entire Full Focus team do an incredible job mapping out the critical capacities you need to build if you want to unlock greater productivity - and a sense of calm - in your life. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

    Highlight of My Week
The tips mentioned on this show are so practical. Every episode is packed with helpful bits of knowledge and the dynamic between Courtney, Verbs, Blake, and Nick make Focus on This a must listen. Thanks y’all! Keep up the great work!
  • ryannordyke
    Practical
Every time I listen, I get some small, but golden insight. This podcast has helped me focus, clear out distractions, and so no to less important things. It’s also helped me utilize my planner more (but the podcast is really helpful even without the planner). The team is hilarious, but they don't ramble. They get right into the meat of their topic. Really appreciate the insight here.

Great except for one of the hosts…
I am a long time user of Michael Hyatt’s full focus system and was thrilled to start listening to this podcast when it began. However, I can’t take listening to Courtney Baker anymore. I am sure Courtney is a smart and kind person, but she is a terrible host. Her voice reminds me of nails down a chalkboard, to the point I can’t even focus on what’s she’s saying because her screechy twang irritates me so much. I might be able to get past the voice, but her constant goings on about her Peloton remind me of when I had to sit with the cheerleaders at lunch in high school. Her conversations are self-indulgent and rarely include anything I can find useful. On the other hand, Verbs and Blake are fantastic. I could be happy listening to Verbs read the phone book, but he always has something worthwhile and compassionate to say. Blake’s sincere self-criticism is so reassuring, it reminds me that perfection is not the goal… simply progress is enough. I loved this podcast when Courtney was out on maternity leave, but since she is back, I am finding it harder and harder to listen to the podcast each week. Great content and information— the Full Focus system is amazing. I love Verbs and Blake. But please consider putting Courtney back on permanent leave.

Podcast is a Great Supplement for Full Focus Planner Users
This podcast is an awesome supplement for Michael Hyatt’s Full Focus Planner! Even if you’re not a FFP user this podcast provides simple ways you can implement goal setting and productivity practices into your routine. I’ve been a FFP subscriber since the planner launched. The podcast has elevated my understanding and usage of my planner. I’ve had a lot of “ah ha!” moments. The podcast explains more of the ‘why’ behind the planner, how to effectively utilize it, and provides easy to use ideas to implement. I really enjoy each episode features a FFP user who shares their best practices. Each podcast is less than 30 minutes which is the right amount of time for me to listen during my morning drive to my office. I enjoy the two hosts and the sound guy Verbs.

    Great show!
The hosts of this podcast highlight all aspects of living your best life by increasing your focus, productivity and more in this can’t miss podcast! The hosts and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!

    Keep the Banter
The banter between the hosts is what makes this podcast special. It feels like family. If I wanted to just listen to something that highlights the main points I’d go find a lecture somewhere. There are many on this subject. For people who feel they don’t have the time, they could read a transcript of the bullet points. Better yet put on some headphones… exercise, do household/yard tasks and enjoy the show.

    Love Full Focus Planners
I began listening to this podcast from my love for the Full Focus Planner. However, “Focus on This” seems… unfocused. The 5 episodes I’ve listened to seem full of fluff and indirect regarding each topic. At times the show seems to prioritize being a self-serving advertisement, rather than providing helpful content.
  • JDR789
    Delightful!!!
I have learned some great planning tactics and approaches along the way, but I especially appreciate the interactions between the hosts and all of their silly jokes and such!!! So approachable and so helpful too!
  • Rebecca Mullen -Nashville
    Sadly no longer a favorite.
I don’t find this podcast as helpful as it once was…there’s too much banter and lack-luster content. I was recently very frustrated at the end of the “5 gifts of goal setting” episode… the content felt empty, really slow, and childish (sorry)! I wanted to share since I can’t be the only one with these thoughts… I also have felt that three hosts seems overkill again brings way too much banter. I do like when outsiders with different types of work are interviewed for the show though—and I love my FFP.
  • Amyacpa
Trying to hang in there with it
The content is helpful and provides useful tips and tricks for upping the FFP game. I like that a lot. I don’t think Blake is particularly funny though, and Courtney comes across as much less bright than she likely is (between the incessant use of ‘like’ and the cackle). Verbs is very steady and sounds like the one calm adult in the room!
  • Leapinglambs
    Value the banter
I am a recent subscriber and started with episode one. I really enjoy the “callers” who share their success and challenges. Keep up the good! 👍
  • La_Redactrice
    Useful, BUT…
I really like this podcast and have recommended it to others. I use the planner and have purchased it for others. But I’ve had to let this one go because the banter is unbearable when I’m trying to um, focus and learn something helpful. Making a show is hard. I’m in media. I get it. But it would be extremely helpful if, at the very least, someone could mark the times for each major point in the show notes. This would allow folks who don’t have 30+ minutes to listen to gab get in, get what they need, and get out. Alas, thanks for all you do.

    Life-changing Content
I have been listening to the Focus on This podcast since its first few episodes. I am a podcast junkie and listen to 6-8 podcasts regularly. The ONE that I never miss is this one! My career is in education not business but the insight and tips this great “family” of presenters provide always helps me up my productivity game. They truly have brought the joy back to my Monday’s and I smile the whole time I’m listening (thanks Blake 😉)!
  • Sosixksislsodls
    Confused
Listened for the first time today and it was the episode on how to convince others to buy the planner. The podcast is supposed to be on how to focus but these two are all over the place with topics from hip hop to dogs…where’s the practiced focus?
  • @t_herbst
    Helpful, practical tips every week.
I’ve been listening every week for a little over a year and I JUST found out Verbs’ first name. Thanks, Mrs. Verbs, for bringing valuable insight as a recurring guest! 😏
  • Humorous2me
    Light and Informative
Different from Hyatt's other podcasts, I enjoy the playful tone to the podcast while providing useful information. Verbs's voice is manna to my productivity soul. Courtney provides a much needed feminine prospective and a balancing force to Blake. This podcast has helped me put the Full Focus Planner, Best Year Ever framework into practice. Keep up the great work team and stay focused!

Helping me focus one tip at a time
This podcast is such a blessing. I struggle with finding focus, being intentional, and sticking with my plans/aspirations. I started listening to the podcast last month. I am listening daily and started with episode 1. Each episode Blake and Courtney provide a new tip, guideline, habit that I can use to improve. I love their real world applications and especially love the conversations with users of the FFP. These users come from all industries and stages of life and share their successes and struggles with planning and focus. They get real, they break the big stuff down into actionable things you can do RIGHT NOW. It’s awesome and a huge help for folks like me who try to “eat the whole elephant” - Blake and Courtney are giving me one bite at a time. Thanks!!!!

    Overcoming some BIG obstacles!
Thank you for your weekly encouragement! I started listening to every episode in March 2020 when my school had to shut down due to COVID. I was already a planner user - which has been a life-saver as a superintendent, wife and mom. Because I was able to step up my goal setting and productivity game through listening to you all (you are great, by the way), I was able to keep my head in the game and with my school team, we were able to come up with an incredibly creative plan to open school on campus for over 700 kids in August 2020. Now, with the school year wrapping up, I can’t wait to sit down and plan goals for another school year! Added bonus: I FINALLY have real hobbies and much more work-life balance. The double win is possible and wonderful!! I share your podcast and the planner with anyone who’ll listen. Thank you for equipping me with the focus I needed to overcome the big (giant even!) obstacles that came along with COVID, education and California.

    Breath of fresh air!
This podcast is such a breath of fresh air when I’ve begun to take my “journey” which I’m supposed to enjoy way too seriously. It helps me to relax, take goals seriously, but with a bit of humor. I wish I could just hangout with these three for some coffee. Oh wait! I do! Thanks, Apple Podcast and Michael Hyatt!

    Changed My Life
This podcast has changed my life! At first I thought it was a second rate version of Michael’s podcast, meant just to sell stuff, but was quickly proven wrong. Yes, they convinced me to “buy stuff,” aka the Full Focus Planner, but that was the best “stuff” I’ve bought in a long time! Despite topics being occasionally repeated, I typically find fresh insight and ways to better maximize my planner! I highly recommend this podcast!

Productivity & Fun are not mutually exclusive
This gives you all the things you love about a helpful productivity podcast, but it feels more fun and approachable. It’s got all the things your ears may crave: - Co-hosts (3 technically, MHC. Loves their 3s) - Scripting where it’s relevant - Laughter - Applicable advice - Not too long Win/Win/Win/Win/Win
