Instantly a fan of the podcast these guys are so funny. At the same time they give great information and talk about interesting topics!

I feel very lucky to have found this podcast very early in my fish keeping career. Every episode makes it a point to stay accessible to the beginner. The large library and full length (none less than 60 min) have let me learn about a wide variety of topics in the hobby. They’ve done amazing job getting enthusiastic knowledgeable guests on the podcast. Every episode has led me to continue researching various species of fish and plants and a good idea of where to go and find that knowledge. If I can do it with these guys help anyone can. I’m not a smart man.

I’ve been looking for aquarium podcasts to listen to during my mind numbing job for MONTHS, and I finally stumbled onto Robbz and Jimmy. Now, I am not a podcast person generally, but I have been listening to this podcast in every spare second of every day since finding out about it. They’re just two hilarious guys that are clearly having fun together. They give so much fascinating information, while also showing a great example of what mentor relationships and friendships in the hobby can be! Cannot recommend this podcast enough as long as you don’t mind or enjoy some crassness!

It’s a laid back style podcast that’s just a couple friends goofing around and talking about aquariums. Lots of great stories and laughs with a good bit of info snuck in there as well. Fully recommend

Started listening over a year ago when one day I decided to type “aquarium” into my podcast search bar and found these guys. Every episode is incredibly entertaining and humorous, making it very bingeable and easy to listen and re-listen to. Got a long commute? Learn about fish and more with the aquarium guys! Got questions about fish? The aquarium guys will answer it or find an expert! 10/10

The Aquarium Guys have hit the ball out of the park and have possibly brought forth the greatest resources to the modern aquarium hobby, and that is readily available, uncensored first hand experience and information. Every episode I’ve picked up has been a wealth of information and is applicable for all levels of keeping, entertainment value alone should put it on the map for those who haven’t got their feet wet in the hobby just yet. The guys are nothing short of hilarious and it’s been incredibly refreshing to hear people be HONEST about their experience. So RUN, don’t walk, to your nearest episode

If you like this show you can have it every day, just go to the food court at the mall and find a table full of high school aged boys that are giggling and punching each other in the arm a lot, and enjoy the brilliant conversation and baseless opinions that will wash over your ears.

I picked this podcast looking for some info on getting back into fish. I have since binge listened to this podcast every day on my commute. These guys are hilarious, 10 outta 10 would recommend even if you aren’t that into fish.

I’ve been loving this podcast. So many other aquarium podcast are educational but very boring. I like that this one is uncensored and adds a bit of humor. Other reviews seem to think the banter is immature but I think those people would be better off listening to a long un entertaining lecture. This keeps you engaged while also learning things. Keep up the good work!

I’ll only listen to more of their content because I’ve exhausted the other options. (Soooooooo many other options). They’d definitely benefit from an editor. Mountains of fluff. Low rent sports talk radio vibes. 8th grade boy maturity level. Banter is a generous C-. A little cringe sometimes. (Not because of vulgarity, I love a podcast dusted with sin). Some inaccuracies could mislead someone without community college BIO 101 as a prerequisite. This pod is a disorganized underfunded community college aquatics club. Since the goal in this hobby is to be the curator of a home for organisms to thrive in, it’s sort of irresponsible to let some of the lazy and inaccurate references or “facts”, slip through the cracks. This pod is for those who already ran through the other aquarium podcasts, and can’t get enough of the topic. But as the hosts reference on more than one occasion, it’s free soooo.

To inconsistent with new content last pod said every 2 weeks and that was in October. I actually really like the show but it’s disappointing that it’s basically dead. I know the host had a child recently but just be straight up and say idk probably done or really anything oh well

Love them! Was listening to try and learn more about fish keeping stayed for the humor!

Show gets a little childish at times and reminds me of sports radio where everyone is trying to outwit the other. Would like it to be a little more adult and adult doesn’t mean cursing or being crude. Think about the younger audience.

I couldn’t get through 5 minutes of this garbage

Came across this podcast last summer. It’s awesome that this is from MN as I am as well. Just got into aquariums seriously 2 years ago. I’m youngish at 25 and looking for ways to keep getting more people into it. Question.....how come the intro voice doesn’t say Adams name as well lol I know you guys clown him but jeez. Anyway keep up the good work always great info and delivered in a way to keep you entertained. Keep up the fluking great work.

I am not easily offended but this episode was beyond gross. Yuck!

I love the humor and I really do learn a new thing every episode that I turn around and tell my family. They promptly say “who cares”. Keep it up and more didgeridoo!

But sometimes the humor is too guy. The fish hobby is broader than this.

I go by Big cab.I’ve just found your show this week, I drive a truck over the road. And really have enjoy the show makes my day go by a lot better with the info and laughs keep it up.The chemistry you all have with each other and the guest really makes for great show. Ps make sure the fish doctor keeps coming.

Idk what the other reviewer is talking about these guys are funny as hell! They really know their stuff and behind the humor there is some amazing information for all hobbyists, novice or experienced. I love the guests as well, very easy easy way to pass the time at work!

Informative, fun, hilarious. This is a must listen show. There is nothing like it at all. I highly recommend enthusiasts to this. A must subscribe.

You can tolerate the attempts at humor to get the information. I like these guys but they aren’t as funny as they think they are but are very informative.

Just got back into the hobby. Kept African cichlids for 20 years and now full blown into planted tanks. The podcast is both informative and entertaining. Keep Adam as a regular on the show. This is the only aquarium podcast I have listened to the entire show. Awesome podcast guys!

Contrary to the usual “boring” fish podcasts, these guys keep the fun in the hobby! They mix in a bit of comedy along with their facts! They are also from Minnesota which is home to me.. so biased.. but this is by far the most entertaining podcast I’ve found so far!

This is the best aquarium podcast I’ve ever found, amazing content, Adam, Jim and Robby are amazing hosts. Tons of great info for the beginner to the experienced wholesaler. The industry insights provided by you guys are great. Keep up the good work

I just got back into the hobby after several years away. I went looking for a fish keeping podcast and found these guys yesterday. I have listened to them non stop for hours going back through all their previous episodes. It’s sooo good. And the banter back and forth keeps me laughing. This is a must listen and subscribe podcast. My favorite was “Story Time”. I’m pleading with you to do more of those !!!!!!

I have logged thousands of hours on popular FishTube and Aquarium podcast. This is hands down my favorite. Laugh, listen, and learn. New to fishkeeping or seasoned hobbyist, it does not matter you will enjoy every minute! Keep up the great work guys!

I’ve been listening to a few different aquarium podcasts recently, and I have to say these guys are my favorite so far. I’ve found that the online freshwater community can be a bit.. stubborn when it comes to advice and techniques so it’s great to listen to all of their experiences in fish keeping and pretty fun to hear their mistakes as well. This podcast is a great mix of education and humor. These guys are very funny, and their episodes are long and full of entertainment. Can’t wait to see this podcast grow! Rest in piece(s) Robby’s Arowana.

Just found this podcast and am hooked! Can’t wait for more episodes. The production quality is great and the content is better. Worth the listen if you love fish and good podcasts
