    Disappointed in Farhan.
Bad comment on how when Canadian teams go out then the spot light is on cfl and you. Such cake on face. All you have to say is this: It’s always sad when a Canadian team goes out, not that there are no longer and Canadian teams in the NHL playoffs, naturally people will begin to pay more attention to the CFL and by extension TSN, so I automatically become get super-focused knowing that the CFL is coming into the spot light. Etc… Your comments were douche. W

    Podcast is great, but…
I love the podcast. The betting commercials that last 2 minutes are way too much however. I cannot stand that droning on. I can usually coast forward it but if I’m in the shower it’s irritating to no end. For the love of god please shorten that commercial or get rid of it. It ruins the whole pod and I find myself listening to this Canucks podcast last out of all of them because of it.

    Poor support for Thomas Drance
Drance has a lot of knowledge and a good reporting network to draw on . For a program like the Vancast to work a good interviewer as host is needed to keep Drance on point and cut through his arrogance. Unfortunaely the second person on this program , Farhan L is completely miscast . He has only surface level hockey knowledge to back up his constant opinions and negative judgements .Therefore insteadof creating an atmosphere for Drance it is one long hour of often repetive and irrirating argument between Basically unlistenable . The gold standard for this type of progeam is Sat Shaw , a great interviewer and lAlex Auld a good ex player and superb analyst with an easy listening radio voice and easy going sense of humour . If Drance wants this program to work he needs to find the proper host for himself , modulate and pace his radio voice and eliminate his arrogant “putdown” laugh and habitual use of “ right” to punctuate his opinions . Basically he needs a trainer . He is an excellent writer, perhaps the best , and maybe should stick to that.

    Seems like a monologue podcast
It’s always the one guy talking. It’s always more interesting when podcast hosts have about equal air time, but recently it’s just been the one guy going on endlessly. Unsubscribing since I’m not really interested in listening to a monologue.

Hockey analysis is great - but Drancer - get off your Political Pedestal
I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE the Vancast, especially when JPat was on. Farhan, thankfully, is a worthy replacement now that JPat joined S

JPAT is great...Drance not so much.
I love JPAT but Drance is awful. He just went on a tirade about how media members are trying their best in this bubble and not to be overly critical...But then spends his time criticizing the NHL and the players about not canceling/sitting out games. You can care about world issues and play games at the same time. And I don’t hear anyone asking for postponement of games from the other numerous horrible things that occur on a daily basis across North America and the world. Hypocrisy at its finest. Also, I don’t think Drance realizes how annoying his laugh is and that it blows out the speakers every time he erupts in laughter. This in itself makes the show almost impossible to listen to.

    Vrrrroooom!!!!
I’m an American, who lives a full day’s drive away from Vancouver, but I spent my formative hockey years just south of the border in NW Washington, so since the 80s I’ve been a Canuck fan (I’m deeply conflicted about the Seattle Kraken.) I watch every game, read every Provies/Athletties/Armies post game write up. I fly to Vancouver at least twice a year to catch a game in person. I listen to every VANcast within an hour or two of it posting and appearing on my iPhone. I love JPat & Drancer’s insightful and honest assessment of the Canucks, their performances, and their opponents. Even during the enforced downtime of the 2020 pandemic they kept us interested and entertained (I loved the “name that Canuck” game! Bring it back guys!) Keep up the great work.

    Best Canucks Podcast Around
Must listen pod for Canucks fans everywhere. JPat and Botch (RIP) with the blessing of the hockey gods got us through the dark times in the years following the 2011 cup run. This successor pod centering around JPat and Drancer, the Van Cast, is allowing Canucks fans to do their dekes while side eyeing the competition in style. Grip it and rip it. Coconuts glow!

    Canucks begins the curtain
JPat and Drancer are fantastic. A real look again behind the daily show that is the Canucks. This is worth a listen and worth a permanent slot in your podcasting rotation
