    Grateful for this podcast!!
This podcast is exactly what I needed to get the fundamentals down. I’ve been listening to podcasts with slower Japanese but when you don’t understand even half of it, you still don’t feel like you’re actually learning anything! I love how this breakdown the conversations and gives different examples of how a Japanese person might pronounce certain things. I do wish there were more episodes but I’m grateful for what I’ve learned in this because I can just create my own sentences from the framework laid out in these. And relistening I can probably catch and more learn more vocabulary as well. Excellent job!

    Pretty bad
At first this rating was 5/5, but the more I listened to this podcast, I realized that it kinda stinks. Who speaks in manga voices ? That’s kind of racist , if you ask me. Some of the words are inaccurate. はい does not mean ok, and ありがとうございます。 does not mean thank you very much . Plus, you barely learn anything. I’ll stick to Duolingo, thank you.

    Very helpful
I’m moving to Japan soon and need to learn Japanese as fast as possible while something’s can be annoying for others but I’m very tolerant so I guess it’s really helpful alongside my books and apps so 10/10 heavily recommended to those who are moving

The Thai character makes me angry
This would be so much better if the characters would speak like normal adult humans. These manga type voices are so infuriating that I find myself yelling at them to talk normal. Truly idiotic whoever allowed these voices in a teaching environment.

Adult women talking like 8-year old children
What is it about Japanese culture where grown women feel the need to talk like a child?
