We all know the sorry ——that Trump is, a rapist, a life long criminal that our justice system has never held accountable because of his wealth. He should never be president again. Biden has become a horrible war criminal, having cast his lot with Netanyahu and all manor of crimes against humanity. Biden cares not for our laws or international laws, not for decency. The atrocities against the civilian population in Gaza and the West Bank are unforgivable. Biden does NOT deserve to be president again either. I’m older but I agree with the young people. I was very disturbed by the Justice Breyer episode. He didn’t answer any of your legitimate questions and he spoke in arcane and unclear examples and references. The court has lost its legitimacy and standing. Period. All of the rulings have been biased. The fact that they have no ethics standards is alarming. Dark money Leonard Leo and the billionaires, have their foot on the necks of these people. I think there is no way they can be taken seriously anymore until this changes. Justice Thomas and his wife are grifters and his wife should be arrested. Justice Alito is an ideologue on steroids. I used to respect the court but no more. B NC 68 W/F Dem

James and Al asked important questions about the state of the current Supreme Court. Breyer bristled at their audacity and responded by quoting barely relevant historic statements. He came across as arrogant and stodgy seeming to care more about respecting institutions (eg. the Supreme Court) than fairness and democracy. Why would I read his book?

The podcast is always thought-provoking with great guests. The discussion with Justice Breyer was especially brilliant. I may not always agree with the hosts but both Al and James are intelligent, interesting and ask very good questions. For all of these reasons, I am a loyal listener.

I love listening to James and Al and the guests are very interesting. I’ve been a huge James Carville fan since the late 80’s, and through this podcast I’ve discovered how much I like Al. I love the frank language and laugh during each episode, however, the background noise has to be silenced. It drives me nuts to hear James’ phone and Mary talking/clanking dishes in the background. Please don’t eat during the podcast either! Al often clears his throat right into the microphone and it’s maddening. Address your GERD, Al. No dairy. I love you guys and want your podcast to reflect your brilliance.

Politics is affected by all sorts of forces, and these two have masterful insights across the board. Each podcast is like a master class in contemporary American Politics, and reflects their decades of experience. Highly recommend.

At this point we just need to ensure Biden is re-elected. 2028 will be the new crop. We need 4 more years that continue to get us further out from the corrupt trump chaos and legacy.

I wait with child-like anticipation for the next episode to drop on Thursdays. It is by far the best political podcast and I have listened to many of them. Carville and Hunt don't beat around the bush because they respect their listeners so they give it to them straight. With Carville's fearless use of the English language, he makes me laugh out loud every episode. Both Hunt and Carville put current issues in historical context. They are smart and you will be smarter for listening to this podcast!

Can I give 10 stars? Look forward to each week’s episode. Thanks to James I now know the difference between the chicken and the hog when it comes to an egg and sausage breakfast.

I love this podcast but I understood very little of whatever words the Israeli guy was saying at the first. Very thick accents don’t work well on podcasts. However it was better than the lengthy love-in of the Phillies last week. Y’all need to focus on your product.

Love Carville and wanted to like the show but I just can’t do it. The constant background noise, phone alerts and bad microphone levels make this podcast unlistenable. Keep fighting the good fight though!

I started listening recently and loved this podcast for the information about liberal politics that were refreshingly positive in bent, however, I now am tired of the Biden is not good enough stream of consciousness along with the we better be afraid of what the MAGA will do so we better placate them somehow tripe. We have to support Biden NOW, our democracy depends on it so can the vicissitudes of his doom. By the way, I can stand my ground as well as any MAGA so I am not going to cower in the root cellar from them!

Hard to take this one-sided, partisan podcast seriously if they can’t address the clear corruption of the Biden Family and their worldwide influence peddling scheme. I’m a faithful listener who invariably learns something from and laughs at something James says on every podcast. I’m sad to say, I’m done. Your never ending drumbeat of how Joe Biden is too old to run and that young people and people of color will not vote for him is overwrought and unhelpful. As a lifelong Democrat, and I’ve lived a long time, I’ve held my nose and always voted for the Democratic candidate regardless of my personal preference because I recognize what the alternatives would bring. I think that your recent handwringing will only serve to bolster the No Labels and Cornel West mischief. You had a wonderful guest on a few weeks ago, Frank Foer, who could not have been more positive as to Biden’s mental competency and yet you continue to harp on what you see in the polls but offer nothing constructive other than he shouldn’t run. I believe that your fears are sincere, as are mine, but I’m going to play the hand that I was dealt, not throw in the cards. I wish you would, too.
