I feel the need to emphasize how amazing the Honey Boy podcast is. They not only talk about making the film, they get deeper, it becomes a conversation with friends about life, love, and art and whether or not you agree with them philosophically, you appreciate the honesty bc you can tell they’re being honest with each other. And they are all both the intervier and interviewee, asking and answering each others questions which adds to the authenticity.

I adored Honeyboy. I felt so close to all of the characters and it was such a gift to be able to listen to them talk about this movie, life, love, acting, masculinity, and twin flames. It was such an honor to listen to everyone speak and share their experiences. Please watch Honeyboy and then listen to this podcast.

I loved this movie. I also enjoyed the podcast, I however as a Stoic disagreed with what Noah said about emotions. Not all emotions should be displayed publicly. I hope he realizes this one day.

Thank you for doing this podcast. It’s fascinating to listen to everyone’s process and reactions. Thank you for making this film. It was such a cathartic experience to watch. I can’t even imagine how cathartic it was for Shia. Thank you for having the courage to be so vulnerable and honest.

This is a movie that I’ll think about for years, it’s inspiring how Shia was able to write this story while in rehab. Great podcast! I’d love to know more about the score by Alex Somers and how that process was working with him.

I usually become a little obsessed with films and want more insight into the production and development, this definitely helps. I will drive up to LA this weekend to go see it as this podcast got me really excited about it.
