Top notch Mr. Franchi! You missed your calling….well you found your calling, but you are equally as talented as a music DJ as you are an artist. I have been listening to it in my car but will also be running it again during my Friday Night League, Keep it up! Also very excited to see what you got coming up with Spooky.

    Pros and Cons
Pros: -Great interviews with industry insiders. This show has the best interviews and guests of any pinball podcast. -Parsons is back. Great to have Jeff back on the pinball podcast airwaves. -Dr. Pin seems to be a great guy. Cons: -Swearing for the sake of swearing. Not sure why, but Franchi seems to be obsessed with swearing. So much that it takes away from the credibility of the show. Swears are often used out of context and don’t even make sense in the sentence. Odd take, and unfortunate that I cannot listen to this podcast in the car if my son is with me, who also loves pinball. -Franchi has some odd obsession with that clown, Kaneda. Clearly Franchi has allowed Kaneda to get under his skin. Let it go, bro. Kaneda can bury himself without your help. -The audio cut-aways are way, way overdone. One every 4-5 min would be fine, but these come nearly every minute, with some silly movie quote or some obscure quote from something nobody really knows about. -The editing of the dialog. Something they do to edit this show to shrink time makes it so distracting. Hosts and guests sound like they have been altered in the way they speak with the editing. People say “Um” from time to time, it is okay to leave that in, really. This time-saving editing is a huge distraction and makes the dialog feel artificial.

    Audio Compression
I will reserve judgement on the content of the podcast, as I haven’t listened to enough episodes, but I am distracted by the overly-aggressive audio compression. There isn’t a millisecond of dead air for the entire length of the episode. Speakers seem to practically talk over *themselves*. It seems not a moment is taken to form the next thought, or to simply breath naturally. I don’t know if the tape is sped up to 1.2x or something as well, but Chris (the doctor) talks at superhuman speed. This all causes the conversation to have a very frantic and artificial feel. SLOW DOWN GENTS

Don’t Waste Your Time - Bad Laugh Track and Choppy Transitions
Not sure who is the creative editor with this podcast, but the inserted laugh track is not only way over used, it reminds me of something from a 1950’s sitcom, only this is not 1950! Sometimes the humor is something of a junior high school level. The doctor does a very good job and is worth the time. The guy who is the artist is pretty much unbearable. I would suggest you not waste your time with this podcast and keep searching other pinball podcasts. Everyone pretty much provided the same content so you may as well find a provider that’s worth your time to liste to

    Always enjoyable and fun
Love how this is formatted like a morning radio show! It’s honest and has landed great interviews. I can’t hear the word ‘chalupa’ and not laugh now 🤣

    Holy production values Franchi
Pinball podcasts are a dime a dozen, but none are like this one. There seems to be little rhyme or reason for when an episode drops, but I listen the moment they do. If Kaneda is a shock jock, then SAPS is the morning zoo crew.

    Entertaining, Fun & pinball madness!
Thank you to all the hosts for a fun and informative show on pinball. It's approachable for both the casual player or hardcore collector. I enjoy the segments and the interviews get really into the behind-the-scenes of this wonderful hobby. Credibility in spades with Chris Franchi & co. Keep it goin!
