As a mom, active duty Army officer, and certified P&PA Coach, Bri changed my life and her mentorship and education/training has been a launching pad to lead significant change for women across the Army in health & fitness through pregnancy and postpartum. As tactical athletes our careers and teams depend on our ability to maintain fitness through pregnancy, recover and return to a high level of performance postpartum. We need more support and trustworthy resources like this to meet those demands and standards, and approach it in a healthy, sustainable way with all we’re balancing. Cutler29Fantastic Guests, So EncouragingIt was hard for me to give this a chance. My first pregnancy was five years ago. I not only did not seek out pregnancy information, but actively avoided it. I was so frustrated with insanely conservative and counter productive recommendations, and a general refusal of many industries/organizations to give women good information and allow them to make their own choices, fitness and otherwise. I started out by rolling my eyes at phrases like “honor your body!” and “practice some brave!” But I also recognized that I was carrying over a lot of frustration and bitterness from my first pregnancy and was starting this one out in a very defensive posture. So I said to myself, “stop being such a grumpy d****e, stop projecting, and just listen.” I’m so glad I at least had enough awareness to tell myself that. Brianna brings really wonderful guests on her show who are experienced, qualified, or both. Great information based on science, and tailored to women like me. The most important thing I’ve heard is that pregnancy is NOT the time time to maintain, it is the time to ADAPT. I think about it every day, as I need a daily reminder that it’s okay to not be my usual self right now. Thank you, Brianna.

debthurlow28So helpful!So much amazing and valuable information especially for those women who were active pre-pregnancy and felt like they were a fish out of water when trying to safely navigate an active pregnancy/postpartum period. Speaking very personally, I really struggled with this and as a coach being told I needed to shut down the activity I loved most (running) was devastating. Through taking a pre/postnatal fitness certification course (while I was pregnant) I learned a lot, but stumbling across brianna’s Instagram and ultimately podcast has made me feel like I am not so crazy or alone in my values. Can’t wait to learn more!!

TheThirstFollowerHitting Home with Episode 6Last night I was laying in my bed trying to deal with my anxiety, overthinking my to-do list and constantly wondering why I’m failing... this episode in this vulnerable podcast made me feel no-so-alone. It’s true. We get lost in our own minds, feelings, and focus too much on the big picture, when we can and should be focusing on the next littler good thing we can do next. I felt so stuck, and this episode pulled out of that a bit. Brianna, thank you for sharing your story, your family’s story, and the vulnerable side of what life is giving you! I really appreciate this.

nikki b 23Love love love!I have listened to Brianna on other podcasts this pregnancy (my fifth) and have loved everything she has to offer! I was so excited to see she has her own podcast now and I’ve enjoyed her first few episodes. She has changed my mindset this pregnancy and I am much better at not trying to “prove something” this pregnancy and I have felt healthier this pregnancy. Less injuries and I mentally feel better with this pregnancy.

Manicmonday5Amazing!I am so happy I’ve found this podcast and Brianna’s pages. I’m 6 months into pregnancy right now and have been researching my brain off for information I felt was relevant to my training and keeping my mind and body healthy making this transition from the bodybuilding stage to motherhood. I was soooo tired of hearing people tel me not to lift things and rip me apart for training during my pregnancy. I needed more information and education on what I “can and cannot” do. Brianna’s podcast is easy to listen too, relatable and I just downloaded all her free ebooks to start reading at night. Content that makes me feel heard, motivated and educated is what I needed and Brianna does that. I’m really looking forward to future podcasts and taking her coaching program to add to my credentials as a trainer for my future training goals and target group of individuals to help. I highly recommend listening and sharing this with your follow moms and moms to be!
