    Shantel takes a very different approach to nutrition because she had her own struggles with weight loss and coaches from a place of understanding and empathy. She really cares not only about the program, but the impact of life style changes and progress has on our life’s. I have learn to appreciate the coaching style approach and I am not only a healthy person, but on a journey to the best version of myself in many other areas of my life as well. The podcast that she has for members connects back to topics discussed internal to the members. Force of Habit is a plus with really great context. So glad I found something that works for me.

    I found your Instagram first when looking up meal prep plans and so happy to have found your podcast! I’ve been on a weight loss journey on and off over the past few years and have had the most difficult time losing and keeping weight off. Over the last couple of years I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression so it’s been difficult trying to regulate my schedule. Now I’m in a place mentally that I’m able to put focus on this part of my life and I love your little nuggets! Developing my morning routine is slowly but surely helping me accomplish my health goals! Keep sharing your gift 🙏🏾thank you!

    Eat these Chicken nuggets, they go quick.
    I first watched Shantel on Instagram. I enjoyed seeing her food choices and swaps. Then I saw she had a podcast, so her I am. I have listened to 6 or 7 since yesterday. I love some chicken nuggets and they usually are gone too fast. Her videos are the same, they are short with multiple bite sized pieces of gold.

    I don’t listen to podcast often but now that I have listened to this one daily I love it! I make an effort to listen and tune in when I’m going for a walk or cooking dinner as she had dropped sooooo many gems and what I love is the representation from a black woman who is a nutritionist who is out here to advocate, help and support us black women to get our gut microbiomes together but also our mental health. I can’t wait to try this program and see how it works for me after hearing how motivating Shantal has been and just sharing her own experiences about how to achieve better overall health goals on top of weight loss and not having to go through major extremes to get there…there’s so much I could say but thank you for this! I will continue to tune in!

    My New Favorite Podcast
    I love listening to Shantel first thing in the morning as I’m getting ready for work and on my commute in. She speaks to her audience like it’s a group of girlfriends talking about lifestyle, wellness and nutrition. I have spent the last few weeks catching up and listening to EVERY episode from the beginning, so I’ll be ready when new content drops (hopefully soon)! I’m starting my new health journey and the Force of Habit podcast is a huge part of it.

    A blessing to my life!
    I discovered Shantel a little while ago when one of her reels popped up on my Instagram explore page. It was perfect timing because I restarted my health journey this past December and decided to not restrict myself because I’ve realized that doesn’t work. The tips she shares in this podcast are literal gems and I love that she’s genuine and really wants to see other women win. As a mental health therapist, I know how important the mental aspect of this journey is and she helps hold me accountable and make things easier.

    Even though she has talked to us inside the academy about carbs and macro balancing, this latest episode really gave me more insight on how to eat carbs without feeling guilty. Giving carbs an outfit and accompanying them so that they are absorbed slower within our bodies makes sense than telling us to steer away from them. Carbs are useful just have to know how to use them. Thank you again ❤️

    exactly what i need in the mornings
    shantel has been my transformation coach since october 2020. these podcasts episodes are the extra push i need when i need a recharge. my favorite episodes are the ones about morning routines and how they set you up for success. i used to watch tons of morning routine videos on youtube that were so complicated (hence why i never started one of my own). it wasn’t until i listened to these episodes (+ nuggets of wisdom inside her program) where she simplified morning routines and i finallyyyyy nailed down one that works for me. love these episodes and how tangible her action items are.

    I actually came back to edit my initial review to rate this podcast higher! My initial review is below but I wanted to come back to praise Shantel for being a woman of growth and reformation. I noted in my previous review that the podcast was great but that the episodes weren’t consistent. Shantel has since begin to deliver more consistently week after week, and it’s useful and to the point! More organized also! Thank you for providing a space for black women to learn what others were taught as a birth right. I will be recommending the podcast to others! ——- I followed Shantel on IG a while back and witnessed how amazing she was at transforming peoples bodies and mentality about their bodies, so I was very excited to tune in each week for motivation and insight. However, I’ve found after a few weeks of listening that—while the content is great, it can seem a little unorganized and is not consistent. I thought I’d be tuning in each week to hear new things, but some weeks there is no new episode and no explanation. So if it were more consistent and more organized, it would get a 5 but because it lacks those two very important aspects, I rated lower.
