MayraGCTruth! As a woman and single mom I truly appreciate Pastor Driscoll’s commitment to preach the Bible. I have two boys that grew up without their father and your messages have helped me understand how to encourage them as men of God. Actually your messages have given me understanding and wisdom to navigate through the new seasons for all my children since they are now young adults entering marriage and other avenues of life. So thank you!

Ferg0013Authentic encouragementThis podcast reminds men what they are designed to do. Love God. And love women and children so that they flourish. If you ever get to go to he Scottsdale, AZ area. You got to check out real men on Wednesday night. I got to go a couple of years ago while me and my wife were on a trip and it was one of the most encouraging and challenging places to be. It really inspires you to be a better man and to strive to be more like Jesus. I have never seen a more authentic group of people in my life.

JasmygrierThis is Amazing!!!I’m a woman and oh how I have cried and wept! Thank you Jesus for strong biblical teachings like this and men who you have raised up in this hour who are unafraid! I praise you God for them! It breaks my heart to see how the culture has so tried to emasculates our men and how soooo many of them to not understand their authority, position, & importance! Thank you Mark for your heart for the Lord, His ppl, and for your fearlessness to proclaim the truth! This helped smooth out so many areas for me! Thank you! Despite what those under a cloud of deception might believe about you, I know you can only walk in what you do majorly impart due to your wife! I’m sure you recognize that as well! God bless you man of God and thanks again!

VoorhorstExploring Godly MasculinityIs Mark perfect, no, I think he would be the first to tell you that, show me a perfect hero of the Bible. Is Mark wrong with this message, show me scripture where Mark is wrong. Mark’s critics say he is culturally out of step with modern masculinity. I care what scripture, not politics correctness, has to say on being a man/husband/father.

Jasmine SmallmonThank youI’ve been dating someone for six months. He was seemingly perfect but something was off. I prayed for discernment and I won’t go into detail, but I came across this signs of an Ahab Spirit. I played it for him and we have been praying diligently against it and for his walk with the Lord. He before this begged me to Lead, I told him I am not a woman to take away his divine role. He is going to church with me finally on Sunday. He’s been promising for six months. I appreciate, especially this day in time, that you looked beyond popularity and spoke TRUTH. May God truly bless you and yours.

Padre HendoThankful for the Hit Job!Grateful that the hit job nature of “the rise and fall of mars hill” led me to listen in to Driscoll for myself. The more you listen the more you understand why woke Christianity Today wants to sell their hit job piece and profit off of the difficulties of others. Anyone else feel it was ironic that the hit piece raised money during an episode of criticizing Driscoll raising money??? Anyone else in Seattle reaching lost and culturally abandoned young people??? Crickets. Love cold hard truth. Read Jesus’ words more… the harsh ones… they didn’t crucify Him for nothing!!!

jdughdjdMasculinity isn’t toxicMark is a prophet for men in a culture that’s desperately trying to castrate anything that resembles true masculinity. His strong, gospel-centered, anti-woke teaching inspires men to a greater identity than society would try to sell them. If you want to grow as a man, this podcast will help.

DRB1809Good stuffI have always loved Mark’s practical teaching and biblical foundation. One comment is in regards to loving your wives. There is an oversimplification for husbands to get their wives help if there is trauma or brokenness from their past. A husband can’t simply get his wife help if she does not want it or is unwilling to receive it. At that point the husband is left to love her, pray for her, serve her, encourage her. But if a wife wants to self-destruct or wants to walk in sin there is nothing a husband can do to make her stop. He must honor the Scriptures and what God has taught about Christ loving the church and we as husbands commanded to loving our wives that same way. Unfortunately if a person is hurt sometimes they want to hurt others and we cannot simply stop them there has to be a humility and desire within them to change.

DoctorBivBold Enough to Tell The Truth!Mark consistently hits controversial issues head on with the boldness to tell the truth. Mark inspires men to take responsibility for their homes and lives. Building up men to bless women and children… I am very thankful for Mark and the few other leaders unconcerned with being canceled and willing to speak inconvenient truths!

KyTechTeacherGet fired up!If your not fired up to serve God and your family after listening to any of Marks sermons then you need to get on your knees and pray for salvation!

DRay_SouthernILThank YouThis is great for men that follow Jesus and want to love his wife and children.

SophieeEx333Honoring daughters and mothersThis guy goes into talking about feminism without having looked up the definition of feminism, and is equating it to the female version of chauvinism. He discusses how men overcorrect and try to dominate women in response to women trying to dominate men, when this in fact is not feminism. He is playing into the emotions of men, and following the exact pattern he attributes as bad in his speech. Hearing his take on the actual definition of feminism would be refreshing and is needed if he wants to accurately teach men how to navigate these times.

Bene the BullGive it a chance and make your own decisionI was introduced to the podcast by a fellow of faith and so far this podcast is interesting and educational. A large amount of negative reviews on Apple podcasts seem to stem from woke angry women who don’t prescribe to his form of liturgy that a man should be a leader, protector, and provider for his family. Research his involvement into Mar’s Hill, if you follow any preacher long enough they all usually make the same mistake when huge success is involved and lose their humility. It’s not a total deal breaker for me, we are all continuously growing and not without fault.

BMX4ChristVery neededI get it…Mark made mistakes in the past…but, who hasn’t? We live in a time, where men (IN THE CHURCH), have lost touch with biblical manhood. Men need leadership to get back on track. Keep up the solid teaching, we need it!

BrennybunnyWho do you think you are?Mark Driscoll has been removed from ministry and censured by trustworthy leaders. Please remove this podcast from Apple podcast. Mark Driscoll should not be allowed to spew his misogyny and intimidation therefore influencing others.

Romo4ShowDO AS I SAY, not as a doThat should be the actual title of this series. Mark is a very gifted orator who clearly understands the zeitgeist and is willing to exploit it for personal gain/fame. I would not want his marriage! Therefore I would not take advice from him. It’s one of the principles gets actually gets right. I encourage everyone to pray before listening. Ask for wisdom and discernment. Don’t mistake the message for biblical truth. It is laced with poison and will cause pain. It will be untraceable, but the outcome will be undeniable. Males trying to fit the mold of this fictitious man that Mark pretends to be will find themselves slowly becoming more assertive. This will eventually turn into domineering as you receive more affirmation of your God given right to lead. This attitude will have you talking down to your spouse. Becoming more entitled and less impressed by your partners contribution to the whole. Don’t fall for this trap! Steer clear of this false profit. You’re marriage depends on it.

Primal PreacherEncouragement to Hold the LineThis podcast is a breath of fresh air. Pastor Mark pulls no punches and is very direct in this PC world which is actually very refreshing. If you feel beat up then you will love this podcast because it is all about building men up. In a world of confusion it is nice to have a place where clarity is given. Sometimes the direct talk hits close to home but conviction is good and while you will feel convicted you will also feel hopeful. No other podcast has helped me personally become more of the man God wants me to be than this one. I love the personal application for men Pastor Mark pulls out of his texts from Sunday. Really helps bring it home and see how to lead my home in a way that honors God the Father.
