Episode 98 about the ASWB licensing exams was full of interesting information that I have been citing ever since. Episode 101 - getting fired from my dream job - was so validating and encouraging!

I have been working in the social work profession for several years and I am always looking to expand and increase my knowledge. Social Workers, Rise is a refreshing approach to learn from various social workers with expertise in their specific field. As a mom and social worker herself, the host Catherine, discusses relevant topics that face social workers in today’s day and age with her unique perspective in addition to her many guests. The topics discussed also have a multitude of applications and are not limited to just social workers only, such as parents and any others working in various helping professions. Social Workers, Rise is a must listen!

I enjoy listening to podcasts in areas I am not well versed in, and I didn’t know what to expect jumping into one intended for social workers. This is one I ended up looking forward to following! Catherine not only brings a decade of experience to the table, she also delivers positivity, motivation, & a great laugh to the show as well.
