    Hey dudes
Thoroughly love your podcast each week. Most times I can’t catch the live stream, but I’ve got you subscribed on Apple podcast and you travel the miles with me in Kentucky as I do my work during the week. Keep up the good work. Here’s a couple suggestions. One, we can’t easily find a good way to contact you via email. Make sure you’ve got it up on your YouTube page for easy access. And number two. You’re looking for people to have on the show and I think you guys need to get Scott Taba Ward on your program. He’s the guy who’s put together a lot of different trail guides, including the Sheltowee, lakes to ocean, Appalachian Trail and others. I believe he still lives in our neck of the woods here in Kentucky. He’s got a pretty good presence on Facebook and he’s an interesting guy. Thanks again, dudes!

    Great job guys
Guys I love listening to your podcast! I live in Kentucky myself and I do love the references to our great state and it’s parks and trails. Have you done a show on the various trails to Mt. Leconte in the Smoky Mountains? If not I would love to hear about those 5-6 trails. Happy New Year!!

    Trivia challenge
I love the pod cast but imagine my surprise when I discovered that John Kelly lost the trivia contest on the backpacking and blisters Podcast. What’s up with that?

    Thinly veiled ignorance for clicks
Content has gotten bad. Fake stance and terrible information for self aggrandizement. I don't care if you have a disclaimer. Creating an echo chamber for dangerous information is a terrible hill to stand on.

Feels like sitting around a campfire
I’ve been listening for a couple of years now and this has become one of my favorite podcasts. I like that it’s just casual conversation that just happens to be about backpacking. I can listen in the car and while I’m working without feeling like I have to hang on every word. I feel like I’m sitting around a campfire with my friends Jeremiah and John!

    Painful
I’ve tried listening to several episodes and it can’t make it through a single one. This isn’t good conversation, there’s no flow to the topics and the gear info is below remedial. Not everyone is skilled enough to be a podcaster and this is a great example of that.

Great job you two! Keep it real.

    Episode 152 - 2023 Gear Review
This was a fantastic podcast for gear review and also networking with other companies and hikers to follow. Nice to hear the good, bad, and ugly of a product. Nice job boys!

    My inspiration for training
Thank you both for the great podcast. I hate hiking in the cold so I listen to your podcasts as I train inside. I only wish they were more often because at some point I’m going to run out. Thanks for everything, you both make hiking seem more accessible to everyone. Keep up the great work!

    Goodbye
Podcasters should start researching their advertisers and not just do a money grab. I won’t listen any more due to who they choose advertise on their podcast.

    Nonsense
Hardly any talk about actual backpacking. Just a lot of meaningless conversations.

Look what I get for free
Sounds like they just talk about things they get for free. But u can buy it.

    Awesome Show
These 2 are hilarious together! Great info!

    Needs some work
Great content ideas, but the hosts don’t really follow through during the podcast. This is mostly banter with interjections from their friends or other listeners. I tried to listen to a few episodes because I liked who they were interviewing but most of the show was the hosts explaining inside jokes to their guest.

    Love these guys
Glad I stumbled on this podcast. I load trucks for a living and listening to these guys makes the day go by faster. Not only is it informative and has great guests but some of the hikes they talk about are in my neck of the woods here in NC. Keep up the great work guys!
  • Motorep
Great podcast with great guests and information!
Very funny and informative podcast with lots of information for beginners. Plenty to keep the seasoned hikers entertained too. The interview with Shug was one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to no matter the genre. It’s a must listen! BTW, did you know Jeremiah did the Long Trail???

    Great on trail
Love listening to you both. You make me laugh out loud sometimes which is even funnier when I’m the middle of nowhere on trail. Keep up the great work and don’t let it become a job. See you on trail

    Wayyyyy too much chatter
I was searching for a podcast with good content. Here I had to listen to them talking about their beards for 25 mins before getting to actual content. Seem like fine guys but ain’t no one got time to listen to 20-30 mins of random banter before getting to actual content.

    Hilarious!
John and Jeremiah are the best! They keep me laughing. They are genuine, real people who are talking about what they love. And make sure you check out the episode: Fireside Chat from March 22, 2020. I was doubled over laughing.
