    So much value!
I’ve gotten so much valuable information. So many of my questions have been answered and I’d like to say to Sara and Jami “how did you know?” Oh that’s right, the show’s name says it all because you all had those same questions when you started out. I also enjoy your conversations and how kind and thoughtful you are, not to just each other, but to your listeners. Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart. 😍

    Great Helpful Podcast!
Honest and helpful - This podcast is one of my top five “go-to” podcasts for writing. Always funny, always helpful, and lots of honest conversations about the details and difficulties of writing. Love it!

    Really not helpful
If you want to listen to two women talking about the TV shows they watch and what their week was like, then this is the podcast for you. If you’re interested in writing and publishing information then don’t listen to this podcast,

    Love the interviews
The interviews are great - seriously wonderful and inspiring. But the opening chitchat with the hosts can be distracting. The weekly personal updates is a new fad with a lot of podcasts that is quickly becoming off-putting. While those discussions allow listeners get to know the hosts, it often detracts from the promise of the premise. I find the personal talk more beneficial at the end of the podcast. That way those who want connection can stick around and listen to the the hosts, while those who are looking for the educational part can go along their merry way, happily inspired. It’s a hard balance to walk, connecting vs entertaining/teaching. Many podcasts have lost sight of why they started their shows and why listeners followed them in the first place. I would like the banter to stay, but maybe be shortened up front or moved to the closing thoughts. This is only a suggestion - it’s your baby to do with as you please.

    A Great Podcast For Writers
My wife and I have listened to this podcast as we drove hundreds of miles a day while traveling. Now I equate it with great memories while we traveled, and great interviews Sarah and Jami have conducted. The latest one with Rachel Hannah was so good I just had to finally write this review. Eventually I’ll get around to paying for their paid episodes so they don’t go the way of the Six Figure Authors podcast. To be fair, those guys (Six Figure) said it wasn’t about the money why they shut down. Most listeners have no idea how much time it takes to produce an episode. We do since we had a podcast a long time ago. Thank you Sarah and Jami for all of your hard work.

Really enjoyed these podcasts I've listened to
I love the personal updates from these women. It feels like sitting around a table chatting with old friends when I listen to them. They also have a wonderful very personal style of interviewing other authors. Really enjoyable while educational, too. Keep it up, please! We love you!!!

    Love the content but geez…
I love the content of this podcast but if I have to hear about Jami’s grief one more episode I’m going to throw my phone across the room. Please don’t get me wrong I am in no way saying get over it - please take as much time to process your grief as you need. But for everything holy please please stop subjecting us to it.

    New writers series rocks
I've been an indie writer since 1990, but always in NF. I dipped my toes into the F-YA pool this year (first fiction writing ever) and your podcasts, esp. the new writers series has been a big help!

Wish I Knew of This Show Earlier
As someone who has been struggling with the conclusion of my YA/SF trilogy for the past three years, I really wish I knew of this show earlier. The subjects are so inspiring and the guests so knowledgeable, you can help but feel the urge to get to work so that you can reach the same levels of success. If you’re looking for a writing podcast to add to your library, this one gets a high recommend from me.

Love this podcast!!! So valuable and insightful
I’ve been binging this podcast since discovering it recently and am working my way through the entire “back list.” I’ve learned so much from every episode. Jami and Sara are so supportive and reassuring and have “been there / done that” enough to share tips and strategies as well as their perspective. It’s been an inspiration to me as a new self published author and highly recommend!

The Friendliest MasterClass in How to be a Successful Author!
Hi all! I have listened to EVERY episode of this podcast. Why? Because the hosts conduct compelling interviews with industry professionals and offer practical, timely advice based on their own ongoing, real-world experiences in indie publishing. But what really keeps me hooked is that Jami and Sara exude a genuine warmth — when I listen, it feels like I am hanging out with my most thoughtful and entertaining friends...who also happen to drop totally priceless nuggets of writing wisdom. Thanks for the great show!

    Learning and laughing
I’m so glad I found this podcast. I love podcasts where I feel like I’m sitting around having coffee as I listen to friends, which come to think of it, I kind of am since I like to listen to it in the morning while I’m having my coffee. I’m learning a lot about being an indie writer and am gaining even more respect for people who choose to publish their work themselves.
