But, how dare you review an action movie starring Paul Reiser for the October episode of your horror movie podcast. Shame on the both of you.

I followed these guys over to this pod from their brilliant Hellraiser podcast, and I'm over the moon happy to see them broaden the scope of the horror they look at (as they do such a bang up job talking about Hellraiser and Hellraiser-related stuff). I really like how they work their way through the plot of a movie, but also talk about the themes, production tidbits, and all the rest. They aren't the first show to do this, but of the shows I listen to they do this approach the best. This is also a very pleasant show to listen to. The guys have very pleasant voices, and a chipper tone, that I just find very pleasing to the ear. This instantly became one of my fav podcasts, horror related or otherwise.

These guys are really great at discussing horror. I’ve been a fan since I found their Hellraiser podcast a few years ago and was very happy to find that they have branched out to discuss these amazing films. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

When I learned that the hosts of Hellraiser podcast had started Horror Movie Maniacs, I was ecstatic! Peter and Phil are incredibly charming and enjoyable hosts, and I love their in-depth discussions on horror films. This is already on my list of favorite horror podcasts. I could not be happier or more exited to see Peter and Phil expanding their scope to include the entire horror movie genre. I’ve been a fan of the Hellraiser Podcast for years, and have enjoyed every episode (if you haven’t checked it out, you’re missing out). Our hosts have a genuine love and reverence for the material, and despite having in-depth insight into the film industry they still maintain a sense of excitement and wonder when discussing behind-the-scenes secrets, special effects, and Easter eggs. If you’ve listened to other horror movie review podcasts and been disappointed by the cynical, jaded outlook of the hosts, this is the place for you. I can’t wait to revisit all of the horror classics with these guys. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
