    Love this Podcast!
Colin Hansen does a great job of working through so many difficult cultural issues in light of the Gospel! I would recommend this for anyone who wants to learn more about how the Gospel intersects with daily life.

    Terms
Why would Colin refer to someone who is pro life as anti abortion? Why adopt the world’s terminology?

    Good stuff
Hansen has unusual insight. A global thinker grounded in scripture and theology, he sees things at both a broader and deeper level than most. One of the few thinkers who can carry on Keller’s legacy of answering the culture’s questions with fulfilling gospel answers.

Gospel centered. Speak the truth in love
We live in a world where we love what we love and hate what we hate. That often translates into nasty responses towards those we disagree with. That includes the church, sadly. Gospelbound does a wonderful job of remaining Christ-centered while speaking truth and doing so in love. A rare find in the world today. So encouraging

    Great!!!

    Reformed, Informed, up to date
This is one of my favorite podcasts, probably because in the Gospel Coalition I find a sense of belonging. I left a cultic denomination, and the broad reach and philosophy of Collin and TGC is like an oasis. I appreciate that Collin doesn’t shy away from difficult cultural topics such as US politics, history, race, the need for deeper discipleship, the sometime discouraging state of the church, etc. I feel like I’m in the safe space of biblical orthodoxy, culturally informed and current with this podcast. I’d appreciate however, an interview about the Latino and Spanish speaking church in the United States, and the immigrant church for that matter. It’s the future, and tragically, generally speaking the evangelical church is often silent and simply unenthusiastic. The Spanish side of the TGC website brings so much traffic already! Well, it is “white” evangelicalism after all 🥺

    Informative, enjoyable, enticing
This podcast has become one of my favorites. Colin Hanson manages to collect a authors who have created work that is interesting and provocative. His interviewing style is relaxed and simultaneously intense. He does not shy away from questions that are difficult and never ignores the elephant in the room. He is inquisitive and gracious guests. The topics are uniformly interesting. IReally enjoyed the final three questions which, no matter how intense the discussion, or always revealing a new way who the author really is.

Has not appealed to me, then Al Mohler
I have not been drawn into this podcast, and when I went to listen today to an author I *was* interested in, the beginning announcement said the podcast is sponsored by a new study-bible by Al Mohler. Ew. Well, I no longer need to have this on my phone.

    Disenculturation
My favorite podcast. Colin Hansen and his guests help me think more deeply about the Gospel in every episode. I regularly recommend it even to non Christian friends. As a bonus you also might learn new words like Disencuturation.

    Bound to Think
Gospelbound, the podcast, never fails to make me think more deeply about faith topics I have sometimes pondered for years and sometimes only sparingly considered. Colin Hansen asks questions that probe to understand and provide wisdom. Guests come prepared to engage in honest conversations that can leave me wondering and wanting to know more. I love the variety of ideas that are discussed and the way this podcast keeps me aware of cultural trends that I encounter in our rapidly changing world.

    Great Display of Grace
I listened to the episode on “How the New Fundamentalism Divides Us”, and saw the host, Collin Hansen, do a great job of working together with non-believers to tackle an issue that they could agree on, and then very graciously presenting the grace of God through Jesus Christ alone at the end - I was genuinely encouraged by this. Other than that, the show is great at taking on a wide variety of issues and looking at them through a Gospel lens.

    Thoughtful and Thought-provoking
I cannot overstate how much I appreciate this podcast. Collin Hansen is so well-read and the diverse and expert guests he interviews offer great scope and depth of dialogue that counter our increasingly shallow and tribal cultural moment.

Look forward to this every week
I love books and often have way more than I can read, so it’s important to me to choose wisely. I have found Collin’s interviews to be so helpful in deciding if a book or an author is one that I want to invest in. I have learned a lot about topics I might not have chosen and enjoyed the conversations. This year of pandemic has been one of loneliness and separation so I am deeply grateful for these conversations that I can participate in by listening.

Such a great podcast! I have a long commute to work and this podcast helps me enjoy the trip. Colin invites great authors whom give interesting and challenging perspectives to living a Christian life in the 21st century.

    Before you lose Your Faith
I’m not sure how he does it, but each episode is better than the last. Relevant and timely topic, and a careful treatment of the genesis of the moment as well as ongoing influences on the deconstruction of one’s faith. If you have a nagging concern about how you are not simply informed by technology but as the podcast asserts, possibly being conformed and perhaps even mis-formed, this discussion will be of interest. Excellent, well worth the listen.

    Insightful
Gospelbound has become my favorite podcast. I very much appreciate Collin Hansen’s efforts to stand solidly in Christian orthodoxy while integrating across disciplines to understand issues at a level hard to find in a media world chasing after sound bites and vitriol. Keep up the good work!

    Great message.
The questions are thought out and Colin Hansen has a knack for bringing out the best of a guest. Add it all on top of the fact the message is rooted in Gospel hope and this is a must listen.

Refreshing Stories of Hope in an Anxious Age
Gospelbound presents something rarely seen in this day and age: a podcast that is not meant to stir up your anxieties and play on your fears but lead you into the issues of the day with a gospel-centered and Christ-hopeful lens. Throughout this year, I have hesitated to listen to the news or other podcasts when it came to some of the more pressing issues, such as the Covid-19 outbreak or racial tensions throughout the United States. However, I never hesitated to listen to Collin Hansen and his wisely chosen guests to penetrate to the heart of these issues and bring much needed clarity on how we as gospel-saturated Christians should move forward. Here’s hoping that this podcast sticks around for many years to come.

The new Woke Gospel Coalition Podcast
If you want to observe how an organization that was created to promote the Gospel surrenders the gospel once delivered to the saint to replace it with human philosophies this is the podcast for you. If you do not know the difference between Biblical justice and CRT social justice, then is either because you adopted the neo-marxist CRT filter or you just don't know the Bible at all. But I guess "I don't know what I don't know" lol. It is sad that people I once admire and respected have betrayed the Gospel and are now promoting anti-biblical ideas. Those in the Gospel Coalition need to repent of their pride and arrogance for promoting false teaching.

    One of my favorite podcasts!
I’ll listen to all Colin’s podcasts 😊 But I also appreciate the interesting and thoughtful interviews and topics

    Insightful, and challenging
Collin does a great job of bringing out all sides. At times he challenged liberals and others conservatives and often in the same show. His aim is to be centered in the Word and in the gospel and not be swayed by politics, culture or anysingle group.

    Where’s God at Work?
Especially loved the episode from 6 April with Sarah Zylstra. Her stories on TGC always cause me to think, “Wow, God! Look at how you’re at work!” This was an encouraging episode with a few things I am continuing to mull over and consider.

    Christ-Exalting, Faith-Enriching Interviews
Collin and the team behind Gospelbound do a wonderful job both finding books that demand wider readership & discussion and asking precise, intelligent, and enriching questions of those books’ authors. The podcast succeeds in doing what it sets out to do: providing hope to deepen faith in our anxious age. An incredibly easy and worthy 5 stars.

    Grounds me in the gospel
This podcast helps me stay focused on the Lord and thoughtfully navigate this complicated post-Christian culture here in the States. I love Collin’s respectful interaction with his interviewee and the insightful comments both bring to the table in every episode!

    Thoughtfully pointing to truth…
Sometimes I struggle to make sense of the reverberations from the noise our culture radiates. Gospelbound helps me break down the issues and examine them in light of God’s word. I find the interviews and analysis to be trustworthy and provocative…I love this podcast, even though my reading list has gotten a little overwhelming! And I always hang on til the end to hear the answers to “The Big Three.” Great and encouraging work, everyone!

Super thoughtful Christian wisdom without fear-mongering
This podcast penetrates through the fog of Christian nationalism, Christian Socialism, secular Hypnosis, and every other idol that is diverting the Evangelical Anglo-based church of Jesus Christ away from its roots in Scripture and Love of God and neighbor. Great conversations without being doctrinaire, polemical, or fear based.

    Great podcast for practical stories.
It’s easy to just listen to Christian podcast, but this show and guest inspire you to go out and live a gospel bound life. To believe that the Bible speaks for us now and also to commands us to go and to do.

The cultural beat through the lens of the Gospel
Gospelbound has been a “go-to” resource for the newest ideas and trends of the culture. Not only are these ideas and trends defined clearly but we as listeners are given directional guidance that is “bound” to the good news of Jesus so that we may live as salt and light to those around us.

Encouraging to find Christians who think like me
I often find myself feeling more alone in a conservative evangelical denomination. I appreciate Colin and his guests who often express the convictions and ask the questions I have. You give me encouragement to me when I can’t seem to find it in many places. Thank you

    A perfect glimpse
Collin is a great interviewer and does a nice job at adding his take in a way that compliments the guest he is interviewing. Episodes are not long, which is nice. This makes it possible to listen to an episode multiple times if you are trying to fully understand the guest’s take.
  • Bramberi
    Thought Provoking interviews
I applaud Colin for the breadth of topics & people he covers. But I do have reservations about all of the beliefs & ideas propounded. Listening to these episodes reminds me to put on the truth meter & remember that even though these guests are supposed experts & write as such, they don’t hold a corner on truth, especially God’s truth. The recent interview with Rebecca McLaughlin is case in point: she excitedly pointed to the sins of America & concluded that America has never been Christian. Well, if “Christian” means sinless, then only Christ can claim such, and we join the disciples and say “Who then can be saved?” Rather, we can look to Tom Holland’s perspective and say that though the society is rampant with sin and I transformed people, the norms & mores of the nation/ society are thoroughly shaped by Christian principles. So, grateful that Colin has taken on this challenge to be GospelBound, as most content leaves a taste of hope in this anxious age; but caution that opinions expressed aren’t always true or holy—- or leave one more hopeful.
