    Travis šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
Travis works for the team so yes he knows more about the team itself than most fans, but it isnā€™t necessary to act like everyone who listens are ā€œamateurā€ as he likes to say often. There are plenty of people who know as much if not more than Travis. Also every podcast Travis likes to throw shade at other podcasts but never actually calls them out. I find that to be unprofessional and amateur to be honest. If you have something to say about some one else, then donā€™t beat around the bush, just say what you have to say.

    Great Insight
Travis does a great job breaking down the team and what is happening around it. He does a good job of walking the line of being fair and impartial with being an employee who has access that some others may not and he is unable to speak to it. My only issue is the sound quality does not match up well with the quality of the podcast. All other podcasts that I listen to sound clean and have volume. This one, I need to turn the volume up to the highest it will go and still have issue hearing it if there is any noise around me. I do not have this issue with other podcasts, so I assume it is something with the recording/production.

    Keep it Strictly Football
I donā€™t ever miss an episode of Travisā€™ podcast. Todayā€™s release was perfect up until the very end. Iā€™m not a religious person, however I wouldnā€™t personally rain on anyoneā€™s parade who does. The Joel Osteen comments werenā€™t warranted or necessary. This podcast is often a way to get away from political / religious day-to-day vitriol. Hopefully this was just a slip up. Any other day this is a 5-Star podcast!!

    Release(d) the shackles
UPDATE 2024- Podcast is back to very similar when it was Locked-on. Travis doesn't spin everything anymore. Sounds like that was due to some changes in the shows production but good on Miami for moving on from what was holding him back before. Previously, when Drive Time started, it was very "homer" and lots of "spin". No doubt, Travis is a fan of Miami - but he is a solid analyst and has gotten back to constructively critiquing players when needed. Glad to have you back. Previous Post from 2020 - I LOVED the Lockedon podcast. Very happy for Travis as he is definitely working his dream job but I hope someone in the organization realizes that what made him popular was his un-tethered opinion. The content was EXTREMELY good before. Interviews with past players honestly don't move the dial. If the organization lets him do things just like he did before (or if Travis has this choice I would suggest it) this should be great. If not, this podcast goes from my #1 dolphins listen to about #5. Give me the old Travis back!!

About as good as it gets
Travis is one of the best podcasters in the industry hands down. You wonā€™t find hot takes or needless controversy. You will find football facts, stats, and evidence based opinions that are explained in a way even someone with an average knowledge of the game can appreciate but is in depth enough that real students of the game can get something out of it. Canā€™t speak highly enough about the show. Itā€™s my go to these days.

    Honest, realistic player assessment
Travis provides the enthusiasm of a fan while giving an honest assessment of the team, players and coaches. Great, in-depth breakdown of each game during the season. I especially enjoyed the roster grades by position after our season ended too soon. Looking forward to next season already. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks
Big fanā€¦. Wondering if the Phins have lined up all their DC choices yet (only know of 3 candidates Brandon Staley, Anthony Campanile, and Bobby Babich) wondering on your thoughts on Sean Desai (really liked his previous work) and he does run a similar defense to Fangio. Or do you see us going to a more aggressive type defense. Phins up!!!!Thanks again Lightning Lou IV

    Travis The ā€œFanalyst!ā€
I appreciate and respect Travis as an analyst, but I also like what he brings to the podcast as a fan. As someone who has been a Dolfan for decades, I feel my own passions, hear my own frustrations and recognize my own hopes every time I listen to Travis. Also, as someone whose kids are grown and out of the house, I revel in his appreciation of the joys of fatherhood. Thank you, Travis, and Fins Up!

Gold standard podcast for Miami Dolphins fans
Travis provides a daily mix of team updates, analysis, film study, and even an obscure pop culture reference or two sprinkled in. His knowledge of the game, personality, and unparalleled access to the team make this podcast a must-listen.

    Best Dolphins podcast!
Great content, analysis, film review, coach and player audio clips and the latest Dolphinsā€™ news. Travis knows ball and it shows! Keep up the awesome work, man. Phins up!

    Horrible
He talks too fast he is too wordy and he sounds stupid. Get rid of this guy and get somebody else. Plus. He just talks up guys like a homer. Tua this and that. Howā€™s Tua now Travis ? Still elite?
  • JJaffee547
    Best in-depth analysis
Travis is outstanding. Great guests, really analytical - tons of tape breakdown and deep takes of the play behind the play. A must listen for Dolphins fans.

Best Dolphins Podcast in the Business
Dolphin fans are though to listen to for the most part. But not Travis! This podcast is the best dolphins podcast on the internet. Perfect balance of in-depth analysis by position without getting too far in the weeds. Great attitude toward the team whether win or loose. Incredible optimism, but not blind to the realities. Very fact based reasoning as to why this team will WIN. Love it!
  • ATLFinsFan305
    Love your show!
Excellent show, Travis! Always full of great insight and analysis, along with an insiderā€™s perspective for the game! Only one request: recordings seem to be exceedingly low when played back. Anyone else experiencing this? Keep it up, Travis! Fins Up!!
  • DolphinRey
    Bad Snap
Nah Bruh, Conner Williams is a ā€œCenterā€now. You canā€™t be a good Center and ignore the snapping issues which have not been resolved. This is not on Tua. Tua is processing the pre snap and sees a Zero blitz coming off the right side, and heā€™s anticipating sliding to his LEFT and Connor sends a high velocity snap low and away outside Tuaā€™s frame, but you think Tua should have anticipated that too on top of everything heā€™s responsible for? Derek Jeter in his prime wouldā€™ve had a hard time corralling that football. WE NEED A TRUE CENTER!! PERIOD!!! Btw, this is going to cost us another game, mark my words.

    Question
Not to be to hasty, but who would be a player youā€™d want from Minnesota for R. Davis considering heā€™s a better fit in Flores scheme? (Very dreadful in ours)
  • Yitwail
    Timely & informative
Been listening to Travis for a couple of years and heā€™s a very good source of information on the team.
  • Commander Dragonfruit
The only podcast for die-hard fins fans
Travis is such an insightful and energetic host. He brings so many interesting and new ideas to the audience that really help me get to know my team. Recommend to any dolphins fans looking to take their fandom to the next level šŸ˜Ž
  • Sunlife72
    Very vanilla podcast
This is a very vanilla podcast. I listen to many different Dolphin podcasts. Locked on, DolphinsTalk, and even Omarā€™s when he was with the Suns. They all give you real dolphins news, EXCEPT this one. Brian Flores suing the team? Ross asking Flores to tank? Or tampering with Brady and losing a 1st rounder? These are not topics you will hear about on this podcast. Instead, you just get media conferences from players and coaches. Which is what I was using this podcast for. But now that the Dolphins fixed their audio issues, I just watch the interviews on YouTube now. Youā€™ll hear more about Travisā€™s problems than the Dolphins. He has no problem talking about how horrible the movers were to him or other personal issues, but when it comes to the teams issuesā€¦ forget about it.

    Travis is a true DolFan
This review is from 2020 Please jump to the bottom for recent: Both the wife and I have been following Travis since he was on Locked On Dolphins, which has since been replaced by the always awesome Kyle Crabbs who also pulls double duty with the Draft Dudes Podcast with his best friend Joe Marino who unfortunately a Bills fan despite being blessed with such an awesome last name. He is super solid and a consummate professional despite his fandom deficiencies. Back to the main story here is Travis and the Drive Time podcast. A super passionate fan who worked incredibly hard and was awarded his literal dream job while having a daughter on the way. His rapid fire delivery of detailed Dolphins related reporting backed with great personality that comes through as the type of person youā€™d want to be friend with. He doubled down his efforts in the new opportunity which seemed would be impossible considering the elite level he was already performing at. I think he was blessed with an ability to articulate facts, at a high pace and implements enthusiastic voice inflection which as a package is enjoyable to ingest as an avid listener. I really couldnā€™t find any fault in the total product from a content perspective and I guess if I had to nitpick in order to qualify for a proper review Iā€™d point to the intro heavy guitar music being less than ideal, but it was recently changed up after being in place for quite some time so now the podcast is flawless. Great job Travis. You earned every step with hard work and your passion and talents were deservedly recognized, and we as DolFans are incredibly fortunate to have the pleasure enjoying episodes every day. We never miss an episode. I even got a shoutout one day which meant the world to me. Iā€™ve permanently saved the episode and play it from time to time. Miami Dolphins Media made an excellent choice in adding your talents to a Franchise on the rise to major success. This Team is looking like itā€™s shaping up to be our most exciting and rewarding since our Franchise Hero and Ambassador, Dan Marino stepped down. Letā€™s go Fins and make sure to check out Drivetime Podcast with Travis Wingfield with a new and improved intro, with a heartfelt outgrowth in ā€œCaroline, Daddyā€™s coming home.ā€ She is the daughter who was on her way when his dream came true. #destiny 4/1/23 Travis youā€™re the best we have been following since the Locked On days and still listen to you and Kyle every day and are die har DolFans. Anyways I see youā€™ve picked up the golf bug. Iā€™m confident that you can get down to a single digit handicap in one year. I did the same as you and dove into it coming from a baseball background and got down to where I could break par a couple times. We live in South Florida and would love to link up and play. Not sure the best way to go about it but please let me know because Iā€™m confident I could help make major strides. Joey.kazen@G

I truly appreciate the insight, but more so his genuine nature, perspective and overall format/delivery of this podcast. As a fan from far awayā€¦. I commend the PAC-12 and Cougars loyalty, but he has a special gift for covering The Dolphins/NFL. So glad to have his to listen to the last few years. Keep up the hard work, Travis and Friends. Many thanks, all the way from Idaho.

    Long-standing Quality
Travis has long been one of the best characters and members of the Dolphins community. Dolphins bringing him along has been and will continue to be a fantastic decision. And great new intro!

    Travis Rules
If youā€™re a Dolphin fan then what better than to have a lifelong Dolphin fan do analysis of our team? Travis is so thorough you will have to pause and rewind the Drivetime podcast. The facts and figures come flying at you and you wonder if we someday may lose Travis to an NFL coaching job!!!! Listen as soon as you canā€¦..before he goes home to Caroline!!!

    Great job
Canā€™t wait to go on this journey for the 2022-24 season. Itā€™s been too long and Iā€™ve have been this excited in years. Hopefully it ends with a super bowl parade covering podcast.

    Too many numbers.
Way too complex. Listeners arenā€™t all ex NFL personnel. The host is obviously very smart and knows everything about play calling, schemes, reads and anything else from an NFL playbook. But quickly spouting off his knowledge , and an unlistenable pace, has really mad this podcast go from enjoyable too disappointing. Please Travis, KNOW the audience. We know youā€™re smart. But that doesnā€™t translate to easy listening while trying to get ready for work or driving in the car.

Part 1 or 2 Best Fins Podcast
Greetings from the lower Yakima Valley where fins fans are rare. This show, hosted by Travis, always brightens my day and is helping me limp through the football drought until September. I consider this an essential part of the 1-2 punch of this podcast and locked on. Love the knowledge and positive attitude. Keep up the great work.

    Love the Insights
As a lifelong Dolphins fan, I am enjoying this podcast. Travis does a good job of breaking things down. I love his excitement for the team and his love of the game. Hope I get to meet you when my family and I fly down for the Sunday night game.

    Love The Show
Confession. Iā€™ve been a long time Miami Dolphins and grew up as a Dolphins fan. Hereā€™s the confession: Iā€™m also a guarded fan. After years of drinking the cool-aid and hoping for success and getting excited on every player on the roster only to be let down I donā€™t know what information to trust. I went to high school with Omar Kelly and follow his work. Now Iā€™ve grown to trust you Travis (plus you grew up in the same area I was stationed in the Navy for three years and itā€™ll always be a part of me). You break down the information and explain and teach about the game and you bring plenty of energy to the Podcast. I admit I donā€™t listen to everyone of your episodes, but enough to grab my attention. Thank you on your work and keeping my cool-aid safe.
  • JJ_E7
    Listener for several years
Travis puts in the time to give the most detailed analysis of the team out there. Iā€™ll take the positivity that goes along with being a Dolphin employee because he gets better access and insight, and Iā€™ve listened long enough to filter the trailing niceties out. I also have my own brain and thoughts and he gives all I need to understand where the team stands. Keep up the good work Travis!
  • KevinReynolds27
    Amazing
Travis is really the first podcaster Iā€™ve ever listened to. Iā€™ve been a Dolphins fan for over 35 years (my whole life) and his knowledge of football and passion for the Miami Dolphins has helped me become an even bigger fan of the team. I became a fan of his on Locked On Dolphins and couldnā€™t be happier for him to transition to the Dolphins official podcast. Because of him I was able to follow Tua in college before the Dolphins drafted him and itā€™s be amazing following Tuaā€™s career so far. My biggest takeaway is that even though Travis has all the football knowledge and scouting information, he still comes across as a huge fan of the team just like one of us. If youā€™re a Dolphins fan, you need to listen to this podcast!

    Good stuff!
Born in 1979, fan my entire life. Listen to podcast with my 80 year old dad. Admittedly, this is the ā€œteamā€™sā€ podcast, but provides honest and entertaining commentary. Thanks, John

    Missing in Action
Where you at buddy? Nothing to report on the Flores lawsuit? Did daddy Ross take away your microphone? This is why the media needs to be independent. The biggest Dolphins story of the year drops and Travis and his podcast are conspicuously absent. Travis is 1000% a homer and now that daddy Ross signs his paychecks he will never say a bad thing about the team. If you want real, honest, in-depth analysis listen to any other podcast. If you want rose colored descriptions of a team with more head coaches than playoff appearances in the last 20 years then listen to this clown.

    Just too positive
I like Travis and the podcast, heā€™s insightful and knowledgeable. But he is way too positive!! If he would actually critique the team I would give him a 5 out of 5. But he does not critique the team at all. Yes, I like to hear about the good things that the team is doing. But give me the good, the bad and the ugly. He talks like the dolphins are a perennial playoff team, which I hope that one day they become that. I just listened to his offensive line podcast review and he talks about Kellen Diesch. He only spoke about him for about 20 - 30 secs but he talks about him like the heā€™s going to make the pro-bowl, when the reality is the free agent rookie most likely will not make the team. Give us some positives about the kid but also some negatives about him too. And thatā€™s with every podcast, everything is just way way too positive.

    Great podcast
Listen everyday, very informative. If you could just dial back your talk speed just a bit, I would give you a 6 star rating!
