Love the show and the subject matters. But please lose the cattiness. Some of the content is too serious for the jokes.

Love listening while walking. Makes you laugh and hear crazy inside info about famous people you never knew about. I also love that they show a human side to the people featured.

This is one of those podcasts where you don't have to rewind to understand what they're saying, and that is one of the biggest compliments I can give a podcast. They're writing, speaking, and research are all very clear. The sound mixing and episode production is spot on. I will be following these hosts and this team to whatever show they do next.

Finally had to stop listening. The hero worship of the celebrities is gag-worthy. And please, please, please, for the love of God, stop saying NEKKID. It’s not a word, and it makes you sound unintelligent.

2/22/2024 - What is bugging me is that Wondery has moved to a sneaky model across nearly all of their podcasts. Releasing several episodes of a series and putting the final episode behind a pay wall. I very much understand having special episodes behind a pay wall or even most of your episodes behind a paywall. But to release each episode for free and when the final comes out and it's behind a paywall is like loaning a book to a friend and purposefully tearing out the last chapter without telling them in advance that you want them to pay for it. It's sneaky, kinda bait and switch. They have also doubled the number of ads per episode, which to me is no big deal. But the other thing, is a big deal for me. I'm still listening to Wondery podcasts but not sure for how much longer as I don't really trust them anymore to not tear out that last page. If I don't trust them to treat me fairly with the free content then I'm certainly not going to pay for it and have them do it again in the future when they want more money

Lots of judgement and inaccuracies from these two. Cringy banter, they insert political opinions and 50% ads. I unsubscribed.

I love listening when I’m driving and when I’m working out. I usually only listen to true crime but sometimes that gets depressing. These ladies are so funny and I love all the inside info.

I love listening to them. Down to earth is what’s got me listening every chance I get.

These host have great chemistry and they’re funny and charming. The stories (I’ve listened to two so far) are interesting on their own, but listening to these two hosts tell them is like listening to your friends joke around on at a Friday night sleepover (remember those days? *sigh*). They, and this podcast are a lot of fun!

Hilarious! But my favorite is royals coverage. Please have a separate podcast and cover only royals everywhere!

Things I like: they get straight to the point. So many podcasts have several minutes of chit chat before getting to the topic and it kinda drives me crazy. The sounds effects are fun and enhance the story. The funny one liners from the one not telling the story for this episode are great. Things that could be better: some vocal variety. It seems like maybe they are reading directly from a sheet of paper making it kinda monotone.

I have no idea how this can have good ratings because it sounds like they’re reading 2010 Wattpad fan fics.

Overly sympathetic and excusing portrait of Snoop Dogg. He was a drug dealer and misogynist who also managed to get out of a murder charge..

I love this podcast! The stories are entertaining and interesting and the hosts are funny and great storytellers. I loved the Snoop and Martha one so much that i had to subscribe to finish it! Other favorites are Mariah Carey and Elton John!

I love this pod. Great topics and the hosts are easy to listen to. What’s with all the weird conservative leaning comments? Sounds like they’re a little sensitive that their faves might be getting rightfully called out. Nothing these gals are reporting is untrue…google it and read *multiple* sources :) Keep up the good work ETR!

I love the show but the background music/noise is too much these days it used to play with the story now it’s just overbearing and you can’t enjoy the show

Maybe it’s time to rethink the future of this podcast if you can’t come up with more content. The amount of encore seasons are getting out of hand.. we already listened to them??? I really do enjoy this podcast but not when I’m hearing the same stories over and over again.

I really enjoy this podcast; they’re easy listening, entertaining, and tend to approach the complexity of people’s lives fairly gently.

It’s a good listen as long as you’re aware that the political viewpoint is liberal.

I just got through listening to your three-part podcast on Prince Harry. I waited to the very end to hear your sources where you garner the information from. You lost all credibility when you sourced Omid Scobies’s book as a source. Are you not aware that he is a liar and speaks in a hyperbole he is a disgrace to journalism. As for Meghan Markle, she is a vile, bullying, narcissist, a liar, and an evil person in case you haven’t kept up on the latest news for the last several years. Your podcast made it sound like she was the victim, when in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. It is obvious that you put a great deal of work into your Podcasts, and it is immensely disappointing that this is the information you distilled and chose to broadcast regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Do better!

I usually love the sarcastic and quick witt of this podcast. However, from the title on this Dolly podcast degrades the place Dolly comes from and the place that she honors. If you want to listen to something that respectfully speaks to Dolly and her home state listen to Dolly Parton’s America. Sincerely, A Tennessee Transplant that hoped for more…

These ladies could make even the dullest of topics entertaining. Their dynamic is fantastic. So- if you’re looking for a new podcast to listen to, take this as your sign to start listening, you won’t be disappointed.

i really like this podcast and has binged it until i was thrown off with the encore seasons.. we already listened to it so why repost it ? not a fan of that . and the one side review of everyone it’s not really authentic

I’m a Dateline, 48 hours, Crime Junkie, 20/20, NPR (radiolab!) and lots of news…and I am loving this show!!!! Heard an ad, sounded good. It’s not only fantastic but there are a TON of episodes! I haven’t had this good a binge since when Netflix came out and dropped entire seasons of episodes (weren’t those the days…). I’ve got a good few weeks of binge listening and playing candy crush. This is probably how I will get thru family Christmas! lol

This was terrible. They kept referring to Beyonce as “Bae” when it’s pronounced “Bee” not sure how you mess that up so bad. The reporting was inaccurate, she doesn’t keep every photo ever taken of her in a temperature controlled room, that makes no sense. She keeps her WIGS in a temperature controlled room. The singing was annoying because the lyrics were so wrong. Now way you’re actually fans. The main host telling the story did good but that sidekick needs to go she was just distracting and added no value to the show.

Not sure why I still subscribe- I skip through all of the cringey banter and can barely stomach the one dimensional podcasts. When they pick a subject, it’s one dimensional and they can’t bother to look at a subject in an objective light as everything is 100% positive coverage for whomever they are discussing- no critiques or critical thinking. The one-sidedness on every subject gets old. If cringy jokes and super dumbed down one sided content is your thing, you’ll love this show.

I normally love these and feel like they are well researched. This one is completely one sided and mentions things as fact that have been proven to be false. I think Meghan and Harry wrote the episodes.

Was loving this cast but barely made it through the J&B season. Just wasn’t a drama that interested me. Yet the hosts gushed on about how “genius” Jay-Z is. Will see how it goes moving forward. I just feel like the J&B season wasn’t given the same scrutiny as all the others. There was just over-idolization where idolization was completely absent for the “other rich people”. And where the “other rich people’s” failures were made fun of with joy, J&B’s failures were colored and glossed-over. I get it, J&B hold a special place in the host’s hearts — and the hosts get some license with this — even if it reflects poorly on artistic integrity... it’s their cast, they get to choose. But where I really bailed was during the discussion of the Jay-Z Jeep and how Jeep pulling out of the deal was seen as a racial thing. Oh man. Not that it could have been a Drug n’Thug thing? Which so much of rap can quickly go down that alley... Jeez. Held back one star for all of this. And what’s with Season 9 Encore? I’ve got to go out and MARK ALL OF THE EPISODE AS PLAYED to get them off of the UNPLAYED list because I don’t want to hear them again, I just finished them! And it’s EE-LIE Wallach! (Marilyn) not ELLY Wallach. Holy Cow.

Some people are naturally gifted storytellers and these two are!!! The way they lay the episodes out!!! The incredible banter!!! I even learn a thing or two. I really L💞VE you gals and the podcast is awesome!!!

Enjoying the content of this podcast but some of the comments are truly cringe worthy when talking about a death etc.

I enjoy hearing the stories about each celebrity from this viewpoint. The show is mostly entertaining. My biggest complaint though is when both of the hosts feel the need to insert their not-so-funny banter into each episode. As an example, whenever there is an award show in one of the stories they feel the need to tie it back to a podcast award show. It is really annoying and not funny. There are a few examples of this corniness that I have almost stopped listening completely. I think they need to get some new jokes or leave out their own experience completely. It makes me cringe.

This podcast fills the E True Hollywood Story-sized hole in my millennial heart.

The Selena episode is probably the most disappointing episode. Yolandas story is not Selena’s story. Too much focus on her and empathy for her poor decisions. It was disrespectful to her legacy and y’all can not play with la reina like that. As a Latina you guys really need to get some flavor in this podcast. You guys sound like 2 out of touch valley girls a lot of times. Maybe add a third party. Y’all are too similar and the stories become biased. BUT I love this show I could do without all the encores. Also I’m very surprised with arishas lack of knowledge for everything within the black community. How do you NOT know who envogue is?? I feel like there are so many times where they don’t know who some artists, songs or movies and I’m so puzzled lol. But i do love their chemistry and they tell the stories in a sweet way.

Some good context, but presented by either ignorant, or pretending to be ignorant , silly women. As a women I find that sad and offensive. They brag about swearing when the actually swearing adds nothing and is 100% unnecessary. No attempt to hide their their political views. A real turn off when you want to just be entertained ! And they drool over every celebrity they cover. As an example, Ben Affleck is a cheater with drinking and gambling issues and they act like he is Prince Charming. I wonder if they are getting paid by celebrity PR people.
