My favorite in a stacked field of MotoGP podcasts
The talent pool for MotoGP podcasts is pretty deep. There are 4 others that I like a lot and listen to every week. The Race, however is my absolute favorite. Matt, Simon and Val are incredible and Megan White and Lewis Duncan (from another pod I’m very fond of) add another level when they pop in. The race is probably the deepest dive of all the podcasts in terms of all MotoGP subject areas. There are Pods that I love that go deeper on the technical side, but the Race is strong there as well as everywhere else. This is my desert island MotoGP pod cast. Ie if I had to pick one from a group of excellent alternatives, this is my first choice.

    Losing its appeal
Used to be my #1 or #2 motorcycle podcast, but can’t listen to Megan at all and Simon is getting hard on the ears as well. Usually like Val, and Matt has a decent sense of humor. Toby Moody made this show amazing, now it’s meh.

    Why do you hate Racing?
These guys spend half the time whining about there being too many races. I have news for you, real fans like motorcycle racing, we like to watch the races..
  • yfmbomb
    Good info but often biased
They often have good inside information but it always seems to be overshadowed by Simon’s clear vendettas against riders he doesn’t like.
  • SKD007
Very biased European view in every comment they make
European hatred towards Spanish, Japanese and rest of the world is evident in each and every comment they make.. they always praise Ducati and and Italian riders but they don’t like Marc M. it would have been very nice if they were unbiased and very neutral no matter who they’re talking about because there are fans of every rider following this audio channel to get some news and all they hear is complains and complains and complains which is not really helping and people who also can clearly see how biased they are..

    Leery Wizards
Predicted Fermin Aldeguer on a 2025 Pramac Ducati. A few days later he’s all but on the grid. Simon and Valentin have mastered Leery Voodoo Wizard Magic!

    Desperately needs editing.
Unfortunately the good info and insights shared on this program are buried underneath the endless love by the broadcasters of their own voices. Mindless drivel often propels this podcast to a marathon twice as long as it’s needs to be. The slightest bit of editing or just a little thoughtfulness would tighten up the content and professionalism already here and make this a top podcast without the tedious over analysis.

I enjoy the different host personalities. They balance each other out nicely.

    Quite a lot of whinging
I generally like all of them, but it gets so hard to listen to. Sometimes I wonder if they’re actually fans of the sport, or if they’re so caught up in a progressive mindset whereby they’ll wake up one day and ask “what happened to our sport?”

    Favorite podcast
This podcast made me a MotoGP fan back in 2021. I’m a regular listener of this podcast and The Race F1 Podcast and while I like them both I like this one far more. The F1 Podcast is strictly down to business but Matt, Simon, and Val are able to discuss MotoGP knowledgeably while also throwing in some random humor. The F1 Podcast feels like reading a list, this is a natural conversation

    Excellent MotoGP Podcast
Great broadcasters who are very knowledgeable regarding MotoGP. Look forward to listening to the show every week during the MotoGP season and the insightful podcasts during the off-season. Keep the shows coming.

    Great Podcast
Please more Toby. Simon’s arrogance and typically being wrong is making it unlistenable.

    Favorite MotoGP podcast
The favorite of the 3-4 MotoGP pods in my rotation. Honest opinions and insight.

    Tom Jojic
Great interviews with Tom Jojic! I could listen to him and Toby talk all day. You really should do a regular series with him. More!!

    Best MotoGP Podcast Out There
Great podcast, loads of great opinions and information. Toby, Simon and Val have a great chemistry and discuss all sorts of excellent MotoGP based topics. They also occasionally have some excellent and very intelligent guests. Of all the podcasts I listen to (8-10 per week from all different genres) this is my favorite and the one I look forward to the most.

    Keep the umbrella girls
You gotta be kidding me. If you are heterosexual men.....Of course you like looking at the girls. Don’t give us that phony P.C. crap! Say what you really feel.

STOP SPOILING THE RESULT IN THE TITLE
Love the pod but as someone who does not catch the races live, please please stop giving the result in the title. It’s strange because you don’t do that for your f1 pod, just ‘x Grand Prix Review’

    Fantastic
great show but 4 stars for the dumb “the athletic” intro. something about it just irritates me
  • Afghan/Iraq vet
    Liked 2021 version better
Where’s Val? Soon grow weary of hearing Simon’s views non-stop. A disinterested Matt talking about F-1 on this podcast doesn’t help. Bring back Val!

    Is it really unrideable?
Just listened to my first show. We’ll see how the show goes from here, but they don’t seem to understand simple ideas like Honda, Casey Stoner, and Marc Marquez. They criticized the bike not being rideable for over a decade now after Stoner won his championship on it and then Marc Marquez has ruled MotoGP the way only a couple others have. I think they fail to understand that Honda built a motorcycle around Marc Marquez not really caring about the other riders after Marc inherited a bike developed for Casey, who has the same riding style. If I wanted inconsistent ramblings, I would see if ESPN covered MotoGP. They seem knowledgeable about some inside info, so I’ll try it again.

    Espargaro
Nobody, let me repeat, nobody, says 'Es-pa-GAR-o.' It is, apparently, according to every announcer, pronounced 'Es-PAR-ga-ro'. Do podcasters ever listen to themselves speak? It seems not, given rampant vocal fry, glottal stops and mispronunciations (across entire podcasting network). You like to think yourselves 'professionals'? Why not exhibit professional qualities?

    Best MotoGP podcast
This is easily the best MotoGP podcast. These guys have more insight into the sport than anyone else out there.

Motogp by those who knows it and love it best
This podcast has been my insight into motogp from being a casual viewer to habitual viewer. This year it features Valentin that tho I respect and understand the need from an outside the box perspective from the europeans. It veers a lot into *insert american* ways here. Motogp has a bigger audience in Asia than in America, has a ton of spanish drivers. Why not offer their perspective?
  • Cody Siler
    Awesome Podcast!
These guys offer an amazing insight to the sport, and have tons of real life Moto GP experience. I could not recommend this more!
  • Stevie Ray M
    Commercials, commercials
Fair enough podcast. Not exactly fun, but informative. Just way too many commercials scattered throughput the show.
  • Jake Brooklyn
    Love the Podcast!
I have been listening and watching this podcast from the beginning and I can say that it gets better episode by episode. Love what you guys do! Please keep it up!

Speedmotoco approved podcast! The best gp podcast!
Fantastic podcast. I look forward to listen every week... can you do in daily ! 😀
  • Hoser6975
    Awesome podcast
Love the knowledge these guys bring to the show. Love learning about the bikes and riders as well as what happened and why it happened. One of the best motogp podcasts out there.
  • Fantastic Mr. Scott
    Best MotoGP Podcast
Easily the best MotoGP podcast available right now. Toby is funny, knowledgeable, and personable. The show gets turned up a notch when Neil Spalding joins the crew. Neil deserves his own show. I could listen to him tell stories all day.
  • CarFetishista6969
    Awesome show
Love Toby Moody. Was a fan of his back when he and Julian were commentators on Eurosport. Great to be listening to his expertise now. Love Hearing Neil Spaulding as well and his plethora of MotoGP tech knowledge. The Race and Paddock Pass Podcast are my go-to shows for MotoGP news.
