Adrie 💕Love itI love this podcast and it is the only podcast I listen to on a regular basis. It is so relatable and I am happy to have it. Dating in NYC can feel so lonely, so it helps me feel a little less lonely. I love hearing people’s stories on the unfiltered episodes. It even inspired me to reach out to Ilana as well! Looking forward to future episodes! Highly recommend

JdubljevicGreat overall!!Unfiltered is my favorite episode kind, I love learning from actual life stories. So many of the guests were incredible!! I do however agree with what someone else wrote that some advice is a tiny bit generic and not a fan of the pov- I made this mistake, but because I am telling you, you shouldn’t now. I feel that’s not how humans work hah. Would love to hear the specific things you did to overcome certain thoughts or challenges vs. a simple - well you shouldn’t do that it’s a mistake. I noticed that with Life in Progress too and it’s not great. Everything else is why I keep on listening!!

rm3112Such value offeredIlana is amazing! Her podcasts gives you all the tips and tools you need to date with success and find your person! I loved coming on as a guest on her show and would highly recommend seeing other people if you’re feeling stuck in dating!

Weiniss15 minutes into the podcast and still no discussion of the topicI hate it when podcasters take the first 15 minutes bloviating instead of getting to the topic. Sheesh. Moving on.

Lovely Lady LydiaHonestBeen listening to this one for a while and such a fan! Love the Thursday releases in particular. Keep up the great work, Ilana!

Tactics TalkEmpatheticSuch a great way to share about the anxieties of dating Ilana is honest, but has the empathy to make it work well
-
someyoungguy2Wise beyond her yearsI was a guest on Seeing Other People and had the easiest, most interesting conversation with Ilana about the biggest mistakes women make in dating. She’s so thoughtful, compassionate and intuitive that it makes me happy she’s giving so much information away for free to her audience of young women. I hope to be invited back for Round 2, but regardless, keep following Ilana. She knows what she’s doing.

elotaylorAuthentically SincereComing out of a relationship I searched for podcasts to help me make sense of what I had experienced and reintroduce me to the world of dating. Seeing Other People did just that. The host is so authentic in her sincerity. There are no gimmicks or games; just living and dating with integrity. Keep up the wonderful work!

Glenn912Big fan of the show & various perspectivesI love this podcast! Ilana brings in a variety of professionals, friends and real single people to talk about the modern dating landscape. As a guy with most friends in serious relationships, it offers some commiseration when you hear the real life daters on the Thursday episodes. I also love when ilana does the dating app tips too. She seems so genuine and authentic in wanting to help people. Highly recommend it.

Jeremy LowenthalFavorite PodcastBest dating podcast! I’ve listened to a half dozen and this by far the most relatable and down to earth. Keep it up!

Belto15Best podcastIlana is truly the most generous, genuine, and thoughtful podcast host there is. She is introspective, self-aware, and reflective. She invites interesting guests, and engages in dynamic and thought provoking convos. She has created a community for people dating, engaged, marries, and in between to be there for each other. I can personally attest for how much Ilana cares. I messaged her after listening to the podcast, and we became friends. I know I’m not the only listener Ilana has befriended

AnonajzThe only podcast I listen toIlana is a superstar. Her podcast does an excellent job of bringing in different perspectives and experiences, and covers an incredible range of topics concerning or tangential to dating. I don’t listen to podcasts, but when I found out she has a podcast, I started listening to it and I continue to do so religiously! I can attest that this podcast is for everyone, including the guys, to at the least find reassurance that dating can be hard and frustrating, other people are dealing with similar challenges, and it takes work (and community, like Ilana’s!) to recognize and be steadfast in our self-worth.

Pirate king2488Great Podcast with many viewpointsI originally was listening to a male dating coach podcast but I wasn’t liking what he was suggesting and I heard an episode where he had Illana on the podcast discussing the problems with modern dating and I was expecting the guy to blame women and Illana to blame men but I was genuinely surprised that Illana said it’s both men and women’s fault. I’ve mainly heard about men blaming women and women blaming men so hearing someone actually say it’s both of our fault made me want to listen to her podcast. I started listening to her podcast and I have enjoyed them a lot. Some episodes are not the best but that doesn’t mean it’s not good for someone else. I hope having the boys on becomes a standard (whether once a month or something) because I believe it’s best to have both perspectives and I enjoy the episodes where you have the guy’s perspective on dating. I enjoy your podcast and have learned a lot about modern dating. Keep making great podcasts and helping people with seeing other people!

nothing44Stopped ListeningThe host consistently tries to make everything about herself even when she has guests on the pod. I used to enjoy listening but the past couple of months haven’t been as good as the initial episodes. She has also said some things about single people like that “it’s the most demanding full time internship trying to be friends with a single girl”… try being friends with a girl getting married or one that has a kid. I’ll listen to other podcasts over this one.

Dan1777999877Love this show!Seeing Other People has quickly become a favorite in my feed! I love all the engaging conversations, insightful content, and actionable ideas. I truly enjoy every single episode!
-
Sussu_2020Great podcastHi Ilana , I love your podcast and all the insights that it brings to dating life! I also think that advertising is part of the show and it keeps the show running… my only thing is that it would be better if the pause for advertising didn’t interrupt the conversation. It would be better if you introduce them between the questions. 😉
-
PhotoguypixmanGreat ListenReally love the unfiltered openness you bring to your episodes. The Thursday shows are always enlightening. Keep up the great work!
-
EjeannetteThere is potentialThere is potential in this podcast on the deeper topics of romantic and interpersonal relationships. You can definitely tell it’s a newer podcast despite. There are some generic advice that she gives. Would like for her to have someone else discuss the child free choice and dating in the workplace. Going to keep giving this podcast a chance for the newer 2023 episodes.
-
@hold_the_friesObsessedI look forward to every episode! Ilana has the best advice and perspective on things. Highly recommend!

-
miranz.hLove the podcast but I wish the sound was betterMaybe it’s just me but I always have to turn my volume almost all the way up to hear the interview but the ads are a normal volume. But I LOVE the content.
-
D.N. HarrisSolid podcastPragmatic advice from the perspectives of real people dealing with the intricacies of dating and relationship-building. A solid podcast!
-
sammyyzzzzFavorite podcastLove everything about this show. Ilana keeps it so real and asks such great interview questions to get the most out of her guests. 11/10 for anyone navigating modern dating!
-
J3NN_1F3RMostly goodOverall I like the pod but like many relationship pods some of the advice is pretty garbage. Guests and hosts are mostly just agreeing with each other on stances. Currently finishing the myth busting episode and no one is pushing back on any opinions and the take about over sharing are pretty bad imo. And I think on the Sam and Parker episode one of the guests mentions Jordan Peterson.. yikes.
-
BCESFFSeeing other people rocksIlana is an awesome host and is great to listen to. Can she possibly get more male guests on to talk about the male side of dating? Some episodes it feels like she just brought on a woman to spend 45 minutes bashing the male gender and it doesnt really help anyone
-
ariannarappybest podcast ever!!!!!!Ilana is super talented and was born to host this podcast! She is so relatable and emotionally aware. I HIGHLY recommend listening!!!
-
tals2424Super amazing and relatable!First heard Ilana speak on @elevationnation! I Iabsolutely loved the episode and found it so incredibly helpful! Now ive started listening to some of her dating episodes and as a single 27-year-old living in NYC, I already feel like I have gained an entirely new perspective and new set of tool on how to go about dating. Looking forward to listening to more amazing content :)
-
broadway-babeFantastic dating podcastI have been OBSESSED with Seeing Other People lately. Alana is a great podcast host; she’s engaging, and she knows how to direct the conversations with her guests for maximum impact. As someone in the throws of dating, I appreciate Ilana’s positivity (I need that dose of positivity), but that she also keeps it real. Ilana encourages listeners to keep an open mind, but the pod addresses the challenges and disappointments that come along with dating. It’s also binge-worthy podcast content; Ilana is consistently engaging, but the episodes have a lot of variety.
-
hlount“I don’t want kids” epThis is such an important topic, and the guest that was interviewed was horrible about speaking about it. It is not a rare choice to be child free, and she spent half the episode talking about how she’s “not like other girls”. Also, I could not stop cringing at her saying that she “prefers non Americans” only to say she wants to date white British guys?! Lol okay. You sound so woke. Please interview someone else about the decision to be child free- there is so much more to say
-
AmyChanPingPongLove this podcast!!Such fun topics and amazing guests!!

-
LennordGreat topics! You are a great host with the guests and the unfiltered episodes. One feedback is to turn up the recording volume. It’s hard to hear the episodes when around town. Thanks
-
maria.f.cGo Ilana!I’ve been listening since the beginning of the year and have really enjoyed hearing Ilana come into her own as a solo host (LOVE the addition of unfiltered). I’m a college student and even though I’m in a different stage of life than the majority of guests, I still take valuable information away from each episode :) Keep doing a great job!!
-
Apalx3Refreshing!!Great podcast! I love how refreshing Ilana's take on dating is. She covers a lot of topics that are so helpful for people navigating the dating world.
-
EmmiFortinHelpful and impactfulIlana is great at sharing insights from her own experiences along with inviting guests that inspire meaningful conversations on this pod. Really loved the episode on grief because it challenges the social norm of what the stages of grief are and how we should deal with it.
