Kameshia NThis is for everyoneI’ve been following this podcast for a few years just watching clips not the full episodes. I’m so invested in what Laterras brings to the Black Love movement! This podcast is for anyone. You can be single, married, engaged, divorced, etc. I’ve been taking notes & putting things into my own perspective. I’m single, but I know that my future husband is out there. I will continue to pray for him until our paths cross. Thank you Laterras!

bendieiehevrusjThe Power of HonestyI stumbled across this podcast on YouTube and this particular episode had my husband and I in tears. I have learned through my walk with the Lord the power of exposing sin for what it is and allowing the conviction to change me from the inside out and I was blessed beyond measure at the openness of this podcast. My husband and I thank you and pray for you!!!!

CiCharviiMy Favorite PodcastI have so many favorite episodes!! This entire podcast is needed in this crazy world. With so many voices in the land, speaking against Godly marriages, this podcast does the exact opposite! Thank you Mr. Whitfield for this! You are IN PURPOSE!

Second Time Around 2021Beyond Grateful!!!I have followed DFW since the first episode aired, and it has truly changed my life. I was so broken inside from all the trauma and dead relationships from my past that I did not believe that healing and thriving would be synonymous to my life. Yet, it is! As I go through the process of healing, I am stepping into the life I love in order to love the life I live. My children are experiencing a “new” mom, something I always wanted. Now, I have the hope that my future husband will have the wife he prayed for, because I am committed to becoming the one for him. I am so thankful for the guests, Laterras and his team for being L.I.T. on every episode. Definitely life transforming. To God be the glory!!!

Tickled pandaWhen God Affirms YouI stumbled upon this show like most when LW exposed his vulnerable side on NYE. The heartache he shared was a collective experience for most people and how he has allowed himself to be a vessel for Gods gift has been incredible to watch. I hope he gets all God has for him.

LP8AllDayLove This PodcastEvery episode is so good! I love listening to this podcast. People tries to discredit you but idc what they say! The guests and the stories and the information they give helps me to see where I can be better in my marriage. It opens my eyes to see what I’m lacking as a wife, and the way you flow and is able to get great information out of your guests is amazing. And for that, this is the best podcast, hands down!
-
Gina C.ASo inspiring!!!This is by far one of my favorite podcast!! The words of wisdom, encouragement and the affirmation of how life can be when you turn your life to God! The testimonies and stories are always inspiring, beautiful and so relatable to many peoples lives. I love and appreciate all your doing. The amount of people you help by the testimonies that are shared and the words that are spoken, I'm sure is more than you can imagine. Keep being a messanger of God!

Nakia J. MadisonThe Nearest LoveABSOLUTELY beautiful!!!! Such a wealth of knowledge and confirmation for what God has for my life. Listening to it a second time to see what I missed. God bless you and the Weavers for sharing this knowledge!!!!

MzReed00Monique SamuelsThis episode had me in tears! I can literally relate to EVERYTHING she spoke about with the struggles the she faced with her ex husband! I had to stop it a couple of times because I felt like I was being punked! I should have paid attention to the red flags, especially the one in the beginning when he did not have a plan for our family. At the end of this year we will have been married for 27yrs…… My heart aches at the thought of this! Like Monique I TRIED everything and when I was done, I was done. I packed up my things and moved across the country because I couldn’t bear to be around anyone. It was to painful. Monique, Thank you for sharing! Sending hugs, love and continued prayers for healing, strength and, grace and PEACE!

Veganlady35Purpose-Driven Love: How 'Dear Future Wifey' Speaks to My HeartI’m pretty late to the DFW podcast but God is right on time when you popped up on my YT feed… only a few shows in and I never knew that this kind of vulnerability and intentionality existed in men or couples… I wanted to find the right words to express my gratitude 😊 If you’re someone who still believes in love, in finding that one true purpose partner, then let me introduce you (if you don’t already know) to Laterras R. Whitfield’s "Dear Future Wifey" podcast—a sensual, soulful sanctuary for the hopeful romantic. In a world where toxic masculinity seems to dominate, this podcast is like a melody of grace and vulnerability, especially coming from a Black man, when so many of us wonder, where are the Godly men who want to lead? Laterras, you’re like the big brother I never had, guiding us with that deep, steady vulnerability, reminding us that real love, God’s love, still exists. Talk about being intentional… Jesus!!! This podcast isn’t just about relationships; it’s about being intentional in every aspect of life. It makes you pause and think, where are the men who are purpose-driven, who cherish women instead of tearing them down? With each episode, Laterras becomes that breath of fresh air we’ve been craving, a reminder that not all hope is lost. Laterras, I can’t help but feel that God has a real one out there for you. I usually stay out of people’s personal lives because I believe in the sacredness of it, but your journey is different. You’ve shared so much with us that when you find the one, I want to witness it with you. I’m talking about celebrating it like we did when the royal family got married—witnessing that beautiful union and sending wedding gifts or letters, pouring into you just like you’ve poured into us through this podcast. And let’s not forget the incredible work you’re doing with building the Kingdom Royale Foundation, supporting foster boys and building something truly special. You show us that fathers matter. Your heart posture is in the right place, and when that day comes that you find your purpose partner, I’m going to be so overjoyed. Until then, this podcast is blessing enough, a hymn of hope for all of us. Thank you for the belly laughs and sharing your heart. Thank you, Laterras, for your transparency as you discover, uncover and recover love. Thank you for being the light we didn’t even know we needed. 😊✝️

DeeyonceHealing in a PodcastWhat can I say, my journey through singleness would not be as purposed, eye opening, and part of my spiritual awakening if I wasn’t for the Dear Future Wifey Podcast, and Laterris. I stumbled on this years before I even realized I needed it. When I reached a certain point in my life, not even anything related to relationships or marriage, I feel like God placed this title in my head and I found it again. So that goes to show that this is more than just a “dating advice” podcast. From this you get more personal and spiritual growth gems than anything! You can’t be a great “purpose” partner if you come to the table falling apart yourself. But the dating advice, personal experiences, and all the things the couples share about relationships speak to the soul too. I love that it’s God centered, but still has perspective that people are people and we are not perfect and don’t always do things the Godly way first. Even as Christians. , we may do things that’s not THE way, but teaches to still strive to live by Godly principles and gives grace to those who may come short on that. I am always blessed by this show. I appreciate the vulnerability we get from the host and the guests. I truly value Dear Future Wifey Podcast.
-
kmire2Absolutely one of my favorite shows!!!💚I have been listening to this podcast for about 2 years now and I must say there are so many gems that come from the guests that are on here. You learn something from married couples, divorced, and singles. How to have a better outlook, simply just looking at it from an angle you have never seen before. This is truly mind-opening and I thank you Laterras for taking us along on this journey.
-

smly25@yahooA necessity for growing as a single ChristianThis podcast is outstanding and I applaud the creative approach it takes in presenting the search for love. Christians do not often find this type of transparency in church or our communities. Thus we are left to think we are alone in our struggles, hang ups and difficulties in finding love. The guests are always incredible examples of hope and offer real life advice to the listeners. Thank you for placing your personal life and struggles out here for all of us to learn from, grow from and most importantly to renew our hope each week. As a side note, as a woman currently dating a black man you have brought new awareness of his struggles culturally and given me tremendous insight that has helped me to have greater understanding of him as a person. Thank you so much and may God continue to bless this ministry!

BeeutifullsiiInspiring. -SierraI get sooo much knowledge on this podcast. Sooo much USEFUL AND GREAT INSPIRATIONS. I cant stop listening to it. But I have a question, once you find your purpose wife that you manifested will you do another podcast ? But with a different topic. Maybe with the wife you manifested to see the love in real time. Idk what i would do if you stopped. The joy, hope and inspiration you did bring will be TRULY MISSED.
