I must say though that Sam’s repeated loud yelling on this show is unbearable at times I lower my volume and it’s still screeching through. His other show where he lets the guest talk and stays calm is better.

Outstanding team with Sam and Johnny. It’s entertaining and funny with Johnny’s brilliant commentary and analysis to pull Sam off the ledge adding critical irreplaceable value. My only complaint is that you need to update the pod more frequently. I listen to each podcast multiple times. Sam dump the effort with the other podcasts and focus on working with Johnny. Johnny is your future!!

I really love this podcast. It’s very casual and easy to listen to. It’s also pretty hilarious!!!

This show feels like it’s getting stale and could use a rebranding. I *think* most of us come to you guys for the conspiracy stuff. We don’t mind a little comedy talk, but it can become exhausting to listen to the same premises over and over re: cancel culture, shadow-banning, and the comedy scene geographically (Austin vs LA). I think we all get it by now. The show was better, in my opinion, when you focused more on the weird and allowed people to call in. Yes, the drunken calls got old but maybe there is a middle ground. Broken Sim used to be a must listen and now I could not care less.

Sam and Juicy Johnny are my second favorite podcast duo behind Gavin McIness and Ryan Katsu Rivera. I’ve been a long time fan since the International Bad Boys and I find Broken Sim to be the most entertaining out of all the shows that Sam does. Sam is genuinely punk rock but sometimes he says and does things that make me scratch my head. For example, he’ll praise Trump 80% of the time, show excitement about RFK and Tulsi, but then turns around and votes third party for someone he knows nothing about and can’t remember the name of. That makes no sense. It’s as if he’s trying to show he’s more punk than everyone else, but it’s so unnecessary to do that. Trump has shaken up the Republican Party and politics in general for the better. If someone had told Sam ten years ago of the scenario today, it would be his wet dream. I love the dude though and love live Broken Sim!

I’ve been listening for years now and actually wrote a 5 star review on an old account I had but wanted to do the same so this could be read. I have been weed free for a week now and go to sleep listening to the pod, specifically the latest episode 139 as I just woke up and had to talk about my dream. I dreamed I was with Sam and Johnny as they record and I’m apart of the show. They're talking about their weight loss goals and I keep interjecting saying yes I will be doing the challenge with them. Sam keeps saying he has to go like he always does and they’re actually at my parents house recording. Johnny being the gentleman that he is sleeps on the couch in the living room. I’m following Sam and he chooses my parents bed to sleep in. I’m like Sam you can’t sleep in here unless you want to sleep in between my parents. Just thought I would share this very vivid dream I had as it’s not the first nor will be the last. I always wake up and realize it was just a dream and I’m not actually friends with you guys haha.

Love the show, Sam lets his hair down a bit and Jonny tries to contain him. I will say it does seem at times like Sam is getting on the short bus and hit his head on the way up. I started listening to this based on the “Tin Foil Hat podcast.” They don’t have guests as they do on the aforementioned podcast so it’s much more casual. It’s as if you’re hanging out with friends chatting about the week and what happened in the news. I find the main podcast more essential as it has introduced me to researchers and certain topics. However, this podcast is enjoyable due to Sam’s manic energy, contrasted with Johnny’s nerdy vibe as they sum up their week and provide their takes on current events.

As one of the few female listeners of Broken Sim, I have to say this podcast is an absolute gem! Johnny Woodard and Sam Tripoli have such fantastic chemistry, and their banter makes every episode wildly entertaining. Whether they’re diving into hilarious personal stories, or just the randomness of life, I’m always hooked from start to finish.
