about mindset in life and running
This is the first time I've felt moved to review a podcast, and I've listened to hundreds of podcasts - mostly running or endurance sport - and thousands of episodes over the last decade or so. I'm a marathon and ultrarunner in the US, but I follow the sport in the UK as well and am a fan of many runners, coaches, and events there. I knew of Pyllon -and Paul and James - so had high hopes for this pod, and I was not disappointed. Only two eps in, and it's become one of my favorite podcasts. It has made me think and consider my own mindset and approach, which is terrific. The guys are also lovely to listen to: thoughtful, practical, friendly, with a nice bit of humor and taking the right things seriously while challenging how seriously we take things that don't matter as much as we'd perhaps thought (perspective!). I'm really looking forward to future episodes. Well done, especially for launching in such a unique and difficult time, before you felt "perfectly ready". The Pyllon community seems a welcoming place (even for someone at my amateur, age-group (50+) level). Thank you for providing support to runners around the world in this way.
