This is a great show - the two hosts have original and well-digested opinions about the art of filmmaking, and the episodes focus on a refreshing range of topics. Hope there’s more episodes down the line!

Can not get enough of this, learning so much about filmmaking. Specifically how to use the tools and process of filmmaking as a means of poetic expression. So often filmmaking type educational content is about how “you should do x, y, or z” and this podcast is great about taking a specific technique and exploring all the opportunities a technique has to offer, and the history behind why certain practices became standard. Top notch quality, and as a bonus I’ve gotten a lot of recommendations for great films I’d never heard of before

I have been looking for years for someone to also see Derrida and Lacan in Satoshi Kon’s irresolvable worlds. 5 stars for that
