    Great Pod Cast
I love to listen to Martie Duncan when I travel . Her voice is soothing and so friendly. She makes you feel like your sitting at the table having coffee in a southern home .

    Great new host
I enjoy how Sabrina connects with her guests while interviewing them, especially the segments with Antoni and Padma. Looking forward to more episodes.

    Change takes time
I loved this Podcast. Martie always asked the right questions and she was really interested in the people she was interviewing. She did not talk a lot about herself. The new host is nice and I will continue listening as it may take a while for her to get the hang of it and everyone deserves a chance. What I am hearing so far is that the new host has intellect but not the heart as Martie did. On a recent episode a gentleman asked for cooking advice after his wife died last year. The new host and her guest did not even address that and went right into the answer. They should have at least acknowledged “We are sorry for your loss” and then gone into the answer. So kindness, warmth and heart left with Martie.

Would be 5 Stars with Martie
What happened to Martie? No explanation at all?? Terribly done to not say a word

Perfect mix of stories from restaurants & home cooking
Love how Sabrina brings out these stories from the chef - it includes the right amount about the chefs in their professional setting, as well as what they’d do at home, and little flavor combinations that the readers can make at home. I’ve already bought two copies of Padma’s “Tomatoes for Neela” and loved her advice on making a cooking “event” on the weekend for people trying to get more into cooking. Can’t wait to keep listening!

    New Directions
Love the new host and new direction the show is taking. The way the host and the show digs into our history, culture, and the human experience behind the food is refreshing and brings so much nuance to the plate. Excited for what is to come!

Must listen - Sabrina is a natural
I love the addition of Sabrina to this podcast - she’s engaging, authentic, and brings a down to earth spin to the podcast. Her episode with Padma is a must listen all the way through - the end of the episode left me teary eyed and inspired.

    Martie is Homemade
Martie Duncan IS Homemade. I’m sure Sabrina Medora is lovely, but she’s not Martie. Please bring back the host that brought so much comfort during the crazy past 18 months. If Homemade sent Martie on a live tour I’d pay to see her record live. Sabrina? She brings nothing interesting. Martie is the secret sauce that makes Homemade stand out from other culinary and interview podcasts. 5 Starts for Martie!

    Where’s Martie?
I tuned in to Martie’s podcast to find out “they” replaced her? Martie’s voice is wrapped in flavor along with her gift of gab !That combination along with her heart of gold is very unique in broadcasting! Wow, now you people have a sterile voice host! “Never try to fix what’s not broken!” Best of luck with your careers! William Wright

    Grateful
Homemade has been such a joy for me. Can you imagine- I’ve been able to tape in my closet throughout the pandemic and talk to Jacques Pepin, Rachael Ray, Ina Garten… and so many other chefs, friends, and icons in the culinary world. What a blessing. The only thing that might have been better would have been to have all of you in the audience or on the zoom call with us. Again, many thanks for listening. I’ve loved every moment so far. ❤️

    Engaging and Entertaining
I loved listening to Sabrina talk with Chef Uzo and Padma on this newest episode. There were so many amazing discoveries along the way, and I loved hearing these women honoring their cultural heritage through food and remembrance. It was a spellbinding episode that made me want to get into the kitchen and share food and make memories with those I love. Kudos on an incredible series, can't wait to go back and listen, and looking forward to future episodes!

She is just delightful! Her ability to build rapport and coax stories out of guests pulls you into the kitchen with them. Five stars!!

    Enthralling!
Was turned onto the podcast by recommendation of a friend. Sabrina is a fantastic host, and thoroughly enjoyed her candor and style of interview with the guests. The interview with Padma was especially captivating. It’s nice to hear someone interviewing guests from the global majority who can relate to the sentiments of their stories.

    Feel-good and inspirational!
I've been listening to this podcast ever since Sabrina Medora took the mic and just have to say it's so refreshing. The way she clicks with her guests is genuine, the conversations are meaningful and relatable... particularly the ones with Padma & Uzo! What a great episode. Can't wait to see who's going to be the next guest, but also can't wait to hear more from Sabrina. Keep it up, Homemade team!

    Fresh New Voice
Loved the latest episode. I thought the host was knowledgeable and asked great questions. They seemed to be having a good time talking back and forth and Antoni was fun. He brought some fantastic anecdotes. Can’t wait for next one!

    A breath of fresh air
This is the first time I’ve ever written a podcast review, but Homemade is SO good that I just had to. The host, Sabrina Medora, really makes you feel like you’re sitting at the table with her and her guests. Love hearing the chefs & the host’s personal experiences as they discuss the amazing world of food & its culture. The interviews flow so naturally, and they feel more like a conversation amongst friends. Looking forward to listening to more episodes!

Feels like I’m listening to friends!
First time listener, and will definitely be back! Sabrina did an incredible job striking a balance between interviewing Antoni as a host, allowing his work to be highlighted, and keeping the conversation fun and comfortable for the listeners and guest! I truly enjoyed listening to the conversation and felt like I was chatting with friends around the kitchen island while we cooked together. I can tell Sabrina is knowledgeable in her field but she seems down to earth; allowing the focus to remain on the guest and the joy of homemade cooking. I’ve never listened to a podcast like this but I can’t wait to hear more. As a thirty something who loves to cook at home, I found this really comforting and a great go-to for when I come home from work to start dinner. Great podcast, great host!

    I Miss Martie
I've loved the last year or so of listening to Martie Duncan's friendly chats and quick rapport with all of her guests. Although I'm sure Sabrina Medora is lovely and knowledgeable, Martie was my draw to listen to Homemade. If she won't be returning, it's likely I'll stop listening.

    Love this podcast!
Really enjoying Sabrina’s style and informative interviews. This podcast is a must-listen. Can’t wait to hear who’s on next!

    Entertaining
This podcast is entertaining, Marty has a welcoming voice, and a good rapport with guests. I would like to hear more original episodes, and fewer “best of”, encore and Homemade Presents episodes. Marty never fails to invite herself to cook or hang out with her guests, which is a little strange and predictable. If you like food podcasts this one should be on your list.

    Love Martie
i'm not much for taking time to listen to a podcast but i absolutely love listening to Martie talk to her guests about the good old days... recipes and family traditions. She is a treasure!

My Favorite Part of the Week
I absolutely love this podcast! Martie always features interesting chefs and cooking pros that I’m unfamiliar with, and I usually learn something new each week. My family has definitely appreciated my new enthusiasm for cooking over the last year, and I give the credit to Martie and the Homemade podcast for it!

    Homemade
Homemade is an extremely well done- my favorite foodie podcast of all, and I am a subscriber to numerous such podcasts. I’m constantly taking notes and downloading recipes from each show. Job well done Mattie.

    Stop answering for the guest
Good selection of guests, but Martie’s interviewing is really distracting. She asks a question, then answers it for the guest THEN let’s them talk. Her questions don’t flow based on the guest response, it seems like she’s just going through the questions pre-scripted.

    Great Food Pod

    All About Biscuits
Absolutely loved this!! I have been baking biscuits for 50 years and this is the most concise and cogent analysis of the various methods, types and ingredients I have ever come across. The fact that she could interview three guests about the very same subject but not be repetitive is phenomenal! Martie is sensational as a host. You don’t realize you just spent an hour hearing people talk about making a simple quick bread that only take 30 minutes start to finish.

I have bought 3 Cookbooks in the last week!
This is by far my favorite Podcast discovery! Marti you are a true Southern Gem! I feel as I am sitting around the table with you and the interviewees! I am so in love with this podcast! I highly recommend it!

    Interesting BUT. . .
I enjoy the recipes I get from this company but the sound was breaking and everybody sounded sick. Which really isn’t good during this time. It was really slow too. Otherwise somewhat worth listening. Thank you for this podcast.

Sound quality is horrible makes it unlistenable
How can a podcast for a company have such awful production value? It’s an embarrassment that they produce this podcast. If you’re gonna slap your name on something atleast make sure it meets the basic criteria for a decent podcast.
