I like the conversation and dissection of the episodes, but the one with the deep voice giggles too much, almost after every sentence, and it's so obviously forced.

I learned about Enough Wicker from Out on the Lanai and So Good We Named It, and I have binged the episodes for the last two months. Lauren and Sarah provide insightful reflections and helpful research on each episode of my favorite television show. I really appreciate the care they have shown this show, and I highly recommend that all Golden Girls intelligentsia listen to this show.

I’m a BIG GG fan and so happy o found this podcast. When I listen to it, I feel like I’m with friends. I like they dig a little deeper into each topic and are also funny! Can’t wait for each EP. THANK you, soooo much.

I’m rewatching the golden girls along with them! these hate comments are making me irrationally angry so here is my rebuttal: I LOVE that you “talk like teenagers” because 1. Im 20 and often feel like the youngest gg fan out there. If you talked like you were 70 I probably wouldn’t like or relate this podcast. and 2. like, that’s how people talk when they’re having a conversation with their friends. the concept of girl talk is a huge part of the heart of the golden girls! It’s no less of an intelligent commentary when you swear and speak casually! And about the libtard feminist opinions… Have you seen the show? I wouldn’t be a fan of the golden girls if it didn’t include progressive & feminist themes! It’s literally what makes the show still loved to this day and not shoved under a rug by the network out of embarrassment. it’s 1 am did any of that make sense? Anyway I love enough wicker.

I love the intelligence of this podcast pairs with several 4 letter words. I find myself dissecting the show when I watch it (every day). Thanks for what you do!

I find it hard to believe I haven’t rated this show before! I’ve listened from the beginning, however I used to listen on a different platform before I started my own Golden Girls podcast (So Good We Named It!), But I digress! This show made me want to make my own GG podcast because I enjoyed it so much & wanted to have my own commentary on the show! After Out On the Lanai ended it’s original run, I was left with no other GG podcast before this one started. It’s zest, feisty & full of old world charm! I love their hot takes & references that only true GG intelligencia would get. I hope to see them at the next Goldencon giving their scholarly perspectives in person. Especially if they include Sarah’s Magda impressions! Anyone listening should also follow their Twitter for even more GG fun to make you want to pass-out like you’re at the world of wool! Also, unlike other reviewers I enjoy the cursing & laughing! Actually, I’d love an episode of them just chuckling as they say various swear words, like….HECK! Roses are red, violets are blue, I hope you liked my review, it cost me 42!

Yes I like, like the show, but having two like “scholars” like constantly use the word “like” is so absolutely irritating the show is like almost like unlistenable. I mean, like, they do like touch on some like, great topics and reviews of the like, Golden Girls, a show I love, and I’ll like try to, like keep listening but, like they sound, like two teenagers. And if you’re, like, up to it, donate a little cash so they can, like, afford some better, like, microphones. If you, like, just read this review, like, you know what it’s like to try and, like, listen to this, like, podcast.

This podcast is kind of perfect in everything it lacks: no endless patreon plugs and ads (even though I’d still listen, the hustle is real y’all), no off-topic tangents where you feel like a third wheel as a listener, not too long not too short of episodes. It’s just great. I love listening to these two talk about our beloved GG! Update: Docked a star just because I wish they number the episodes by season (ie s2ep12). That would make it so much easier to watch along. Still loving this podcast for some no-stress banter.

I heard of Wicker from Out on the Lanai and these ladies are hilarious. They offer background and character insight that ties into each episode. Sometimes ( IDK which podcaster) there is shuffling noises in the mic that are frustrating to hear or ice clinking in a glass so it’s not flawless but that’s petty considering it’s a joy to hear two scholarly ladies speak about the best show on TV. Too bad they ruin it all with their libtard, “progressive,” feminist opinions sprinkled off and on. Hard to enjoy while trying to ignore their know-it-all/righteous attitudes about the environment, politics, religion..

These two women have been saying out loud what I’ve always thought about this show! I appreciate the combo of humor and recognition of the powerful performances that the actors perform, as well as the dialog about how innovative this show was. Great pod.

I really enjoy the show. Sarah and Lauren have solid chemistry and their passion for The Golden Girls makes it a fun listen. The conversations are thoughtful and they point out things I haven’t thought of about the episodes. The production quality could be better but it’s a good podcast.

Hilarious and smart recap of the best show of all-time!

This is such a great podcast. I’m always excited to see a new episode. Here’s my request: Can you give us a 1-sentence summary of the episode at the top of the pod? You know what you’re going to talk about. For those of us who have seven years of episodes in our mind, it takes a while to figure out which one you’re on, especially the b-line. Thanks for doing this show!

In the earlier episodes of the podcast, I really like the fact that you didn’t swear every other sentence; however, as the series progresses the language has become unbearable in some episodes. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t freak out every time I hear a curse word but is it really necessary to use the f-bomb so often. Contrary to what you seem to think, that word is not an adjective and, even if it errr, there are plenty of other adjectives that would make your conversation sound so much more “scholarly”. Also, as someone who was in his 20’s when the series first aired and have watched it non-stop since it began, I find it interesting how you harp on the “dated” references. Of course, they’re dated, they’re from the 80’s and 90’s and there’s no way to change them now. I gave you 3 stars because I love the Golden Girls and enjoy hearing them be discussed but I do feel that in order to be a 5 star podcast, you have a couple of things to fix first.

Love it, but wish you would tell the story of each episode chronologically. Unless I’ve just watched the episode it’s hard to keep track of exactly what’s happening.

I am so grateful to have found this podcast! I have been completely obsessed with golden girls for the last 20 years and am always skeptical of other “fans”, but these two are the real deal! They’re hilarious, insightful, and don’t disappoint.

Recently found this whilst starting a comfort-rewatch if the golden girls and I am loving it. As a person who really enjoys lovingly analyzing my favorite shows, Sarah and Lauren are THE perfect hosts as they offer straightforward commentary with the perfect amount of banter. I never thought that I would feel so satisfied listening to podcast with episodes that last less than 30 min, but they are fantastic-makes me feel like I’m enjoying an episode of GG. Thanks for the all the great pods, girls.

Just happened to see a plug for this podcast on Facebook and had to check it out, and boy, I was NOT disappointed! So hilarious and in the same mindset as myself who watched the show through reruns from a young age, and only got a lot of the jokes when I was older and more experienced. Haha! The hosts know so many intimate details and bring such a modern view of the timeless phenomenon that continues to win the hearts of people from all walks of life, The Golden Girls. I give this podcast 5 SILVER STARS! They would be gold stars, but I ran out. ;)

I LOVE The Golden Girls and I love this podcast! Other GG podcasts I’ve listened to got annoying fast with all of the off topic banter, but not this podcast! Now, where can I find me some friends like Lauren and Sarah?

These hosts really do know soooo much about The Golden Girls and I’m here for it! It takes a couple episodes for them to find their balance but after they do each episode is hilarious and filled with so much nuance and obscure quotes. I recommend it!

This podcast can satisfy me in less than 30 minutes. Love listening to Lauren and Sarah discuss their love for Golden Girls, they help me remember watching on my grandma’s 13 inch that was slightly off-color.
