It’s a great and clever show. It’s a refreshing and unique . The host are spectacular, the podcast itself is fun and it reminds of the old fashion radio show. It reading comics if it was a radio show. The focus is great on era of comics pre crisis earth 2 stories. I listen to every week. It’s a must listen. Older episodes hold up well. You don’t need to know all of the comic history or be a comic geek. So if you want something clever original and different this is it for you, give it a try and you’ll enjoy it.

Each episode the hosts find an issue of a comic with stories of characters from alternate dimensions (usually Earth 2, but sometimes not) and perform a reenactment. The descriptions are thorough and owning your own copy is unnecessary. Though the top panels from each issue are shared on social media.

Love the blend of passion, reverence and whimsy these gents bring to revisiting some of DC’s less familiar world-melding classics. Even the cheesy voice characterizations seem right in line with the silver age books they’ve unearthed. A fun listen.
